Just stopped here for a quick bite for lunch and really enjoyed the individual pizza. I would definitely visit again.

The leaning tower With cream cheese will change your world. You can skip the pub. Haiku review.

This is definitely a dive bar/like diners drive-ins and dives. However you don't come here for the atmosphere you come here got the food!!! Service is decent, especially if you come earlier on in the day. The place is fairly clean even though it is a hole in the wall kind of place! But it's those kind of places that you get the best food !!! The guys love the leaning tower. That is always a group favorite!! My favorite however is the Hawaiian, really good and creamy since they will add cream cheese. Overall you come here for the food not the ambiance!!! It's no fine dining place but again that is where you can find some of the best food !!!

Best pizza in Lincoln! The leaning tower is the best. I haven't tried any of the others. Like their ad says, maybe we should. It's a small location so can get busy and have to wait, but it's worth it. I can't even remember the last time I looked at the menu. Just always order the leaning tower. Great place especially on a week night. Weekends get busy. I highly recommend.

Been going here for a long, long time and it's almost always been a great experience! It's a bit dark inside but I like it, and most of the time it's full but me and my boyfriend can always find someplace to sit. The wait can be a little irritating but with as busy as they usually are it's acceptable. The appetizers are always nice and hot as are the pizzas. I love the topping choices to you can get almost anything. I've only had one bad experience with this place and that was when they messed up our pizza order. But they quickly realized the problem and gave me a personal pizza for free. So all in all it wasn't really a bad experience just more of an annoyance.

Throwback atmosphere, the place looks like it hasn't changed since the 70s, which isn't a bad thing. The pizza is ok, it came out hot and fresh, was a little greasy.

Game day must! This is a small-town feel pub with one of my favorite pizzas, The Leaning Tower! I will admit that they prob don't have enough people on staff when it gets busy, but as long as you know this up front you can just enjoy a couple more beers before you get your order taken or your food shows up, right? Sad to hear others having a bad experience cuz I have always had a great pizza.

This is a perfect example of the power of Yelp. I have lived in Lincoln for some time but other than being aware that it existed, didn't really know much about it. After a couple of Yelp friends posted positive reviews, I decided to try it. We decided to give it a whirl with two pizza's and two appetizers. We had the Leaning Tower of Pizza (as many yelpers recommended it) and the regular hamburger pizza. Both were delicious, though my crust was "slightly" overcooked on the edges. I think if they played around with their crusts like a butter Parmesan crust or something it would make a good pizza even better. The appetizers we got were the cheddar breaded cauliflower and the gourmet crumb onion chips. Both were very good, served with dipping sauces. Given that it is becoming harder than ever to find breaded cauliflower, we were especially glad to find this. The only reason why I am downgrading them slightly was because it is a bit expensive. The medium Leaning Tower of Pizza cost more than three medium Domino's pizza's. I know you have to pay more for quality but that seemed a bit steep. The atmosphere itself was very "dive-ish" but I think that ads to the charm. Our waitress was very good, and the service was excellent. Food came out in an acceptable amount of time and she was attentive with our drinks. Overall, very pleased and we will definitely be back.

The is a nice old fashioned bar in Havelock. It is what it is a simple hole in the wall pub with working class people and good honest pizza. The decor is pretty divey but the selection of beers were impressive and the service was very good. The booth seats do need redoing as they as sagging and uncomfortable but I found the 70's red and black decor to be strangely comforting and cozy. It's the type of pub you can walk into in the middle of the day and feel like it's night time. We had their Hawaiian Pizza with cream cheese for our first time and it was very good. Hot, fresh, not too salty, and with plentiful toppings. We had the second half of our pizza customized with our own toppings and they were fresh and well cooked. Crunchy edges to the pizza but not burned at all. They have the formula for homemade pizza down to an art form. The price was $15 for a large pizza and we had some still leftovers to take home. If your looking for an honest pizza pub place in an old part of town I would highly recommend it. We will be back.

Great established neighborhood kind of place. Awesome pizza (leaning tower), good selection of beers. Will be back!

I hate to say it but I was incredibly disappointed with this place. I had heard nothing but great things but was not impressed by their pizza. I liked the atmosphere but I have had much better pizza at other restaurants. Maybe I just caught them on an off day. May try again and will update if it is better.

Best pizza in Lincoln in my opinion. Great for small or large groups. Solid appetizer selection. Get the leaning tower, doesn't get any better!

Man, this is good pizza. Leaning Tower with cream cheese...on point. Cheese bread is solid too. If you don't like heavy sauce, better to ask for light sauce right out of the gate.

Whatever pizza you choose, add cream cheese. Leaning Tower has hamburger pepperoni and pepperocini . . . I add cream cheese. Absolutely the best. 60s, 70s and 80s rock playing in the background if TV doesn't interest you, and a cold beer to wash it down. The Good Lfe in Nebraska.

One of the best places in Lincoln to get pizza. Leaning Tower of Pizza and Hawaiian are both excellent. Sandwiches and appetizers are good too. A great pub atmosphere. Limited seating can result in longer wait times at peak dining hours.

I looked through all the reviews and didn't see one regarding their sandwiches. I'm aware that they specialize in pizzas but I go here on my break when I work in the area, so I don't have time for pizza. That's when I decided to get the pastrami sandwich. It's an awesome sandwich (gotta get the onions and Dijon with it). If this sandwich is indicative of their other sandwiches, this place can also be famous for their sandwiches along with their pizzas. Isles will always be known for their pizzas but their sandwiches shouldn't be scoffed at.

Best pizza in town! Some of the best I've ever had! The Leaning Tower is the best! If you love pizza this is the place to go!

4.5 Stars. A place that actually has Sailor Jerry. Nobody welcomes you, had to walk up to the bar and say a wanted to eat. This is why I give it 4.5 stars vs. the 5 stars it deserves, Seems like a place for locals. Great service. Leaning tower of pizza was ordered. It is really good. Especially if you like grilled onions. Reminds me of a Philly cheesesteak with the peppers, onion, and cheese. Will return on my next visit to Lincoln. Posted pictures.

Went there for lunch on a weekday. Typical pub atmosphere and decor though it was rather dark in the back of the restaurant. I grabbed a booth by the window because of that. Service was prompt but it was not busy. I ordered a medium Leaning Tower of Pizza. It was enough to feed two people and it was tasty. I think the price was way too high for what we got. $16 for a pizza that feeds 2 or one really hungry person. You could get a bigger pizza at a chain for less money. People say it is the best pizza in town. Can't say I've found much better than this but the price doesn't seem worth it. The tap beers were a bit much. $4.50 for anything other than the big name brews. All in all, I spent $26.50 for one 12 inch pizza and 2 beers, for lunch....ouch. I would only go back for dinner. All in all, a positive experience.

Loved the leaning tower of pizza! I will return. Pro tip, add cream cheese...it will blow your mind!! Beer selection was average. Service was good.

This is hands down my favorite pizza in town. Delicious toppings, perfect crust, tangy sauce and a ton of cheese. The staff are friendly and quick. The atmosphere of the bar only adds to the experience. Reminds me of the small town bars that served food in the area I grew up in.

Terrible slow service! Waited 40 minutes for average pizza. and one of our pizzas which was for my sons Bday was delivered 15 minutes after all the other pizzas. Ordered 4 appetizers that never came. Mgr was no help, asked ME what I wanted her to do. She just thought I wanted to be comped but kept asking ME if that's what I wanted. TERRIBLE. Won't be back.

Ordered a thin crust veggie pizza for take out. I only live a few blocks away so it shouldn't have lost much quality going home. Well, I get it home and it looks like a frozen DiGiorno and tastes like a cheap frozen Tonys. Even the bell peppers were chopped in typical tiny cubes like they do for frozen. Definitely not something I could eat.

Best pizza place ever. The staff is great. Drinks made good as well. on Fridays and Saturdays it may take some time to get a table. But, that is expected with how godd this place is.

Excellent pizza! Friendly staff! This is a great little dive bar/ pizza joint. I usually try a seasonal beer, and almost always order the leaning tower of pizza. I took one star away, because you have to constantly smell cigarette smoke if you get seated next to a door. That's pretty disgusting, and could ruin your meal. They should consider adding an extra set of doors to help keep the smoke outside. Not much to say other than it's a friendly dive with great pizza!

Drove down to Lincoln to meet a friend at the Isles. Let me be the first to admit that impressing me is a job no one wants. My expectations are sky high. Ordered the Tower, of course, and it was one of the best Pizzas I have had in a long time! Service was great! Mind you, it wasn't very busy, as it was cold outside! Definitely go back. The bad reviews on Yelp are unsubstantiated! Place rocks! If you can please me, you can please anyone! Take a bow Isles!

Leaning Tower of Pizza. Nice People. I guess you could call it a 'dive', I love the atmosphere - as long as its not too late it's a family place. Easily one of my favorite joints in Lincoln!

I can't believe no one has reviewed The Isles! This place is off the beaten path, and worth the trek! I would say it's probably the best pizza in Lincoln (but it's close between here and Piazano's). They load their pizza with tons of cheese and toppings. Try their pizza with cream cheese-YUM. They have a pretty decent tap beer selection, and also quite a few appetizers on the menu (though I have always stuck to pizza, beer and the garlic cheese bread). This place has wonderful, small town appeal, as it's in the Havelock area of Lincoln. I'm from a small town originally, and when I walk into The Isles I feel like I'm back at home. Take an afternoon and walk around the little downtown district of Havelock. It's quaint and charming and a breath of fresh air. Then stop and fuel up with some of the best pizza Lincoln has to offer!

The Isles is a place I go to once in a while for their good pizza. As much as their pizza is a bit pricey, it is worth it when you go once in a while.

Best pizza in all of Lincoln. The leaning tower is the best. Love their wings too. Sometimes the wait can be lengthy on the weekends but definitely worth it.

Definately worth a visit if youve never been. Good food and i like the atmosphere. It does have a small town feel or maybe more like a favorite neighborhood hangout feel you might find in a larger city, if that makes sense. Anyways, its a cool place with really good pizza.
