You can get so much for so little! It's nearly impossible not to feel like a kid at a candy store here. I only wish I knew the names of the things I was eating! I'm yet to have a treat I don't like! I've always had incredible customer service!

When I first moved to Lincoln I was recommended this place. I was pleasantly surprised to find it just a couple of blocks away from my apartment. My first visit there wasn't a very good one. The cashier wasn't very patient with me because I had no clue what I was doing, despite it not being very busy. I went back anyway because it was so delicious. I also ended up meeting the owner through work, and he is just a super nice guy. So glad I found this place.

it is hard to find a nice bakery in lincoln. I think this bakery is spanish style baking. bread was big and cheap but not my cup of tea. I want more soft and moisture

Thanks to my Spanish professor, I am now in love with this place. Upon entering the bakery, I was like a little kid in a candy store. The smells were tantalizing just as the cases of fresh baked authentic Mexican pastries were visually pleasing. You grab a tray and some tongs and have at. Once you've collected all your goodies, you bring your tray to the counter where everything gets bagged up. Everything is super cheap as well. The cakes are super moist, the breads flaky, and the cookies savory. Don't let the location stop you from coming in and paying this place a visit. Your sweet tooth will definitely be satisfied. ¡Muy rica!

Yum!! Fresh, cheap & delicious should be the goal of every bakery. Pan Dulce wins hands down on all levels. Food: Every day they offer a variety of baked goods from the traditional cuernos, empanadas, cochitos, and of course pan dulces but they also offer specialty items like jalapeno cream cheese bolilos and chorizo bolillos on Friday. It is also a full service bakery so you can also order cakes (including a great tres leches cake and flan). Donuts, plantain bread, cookies, and churros are also common offerings. They bake all day and you can smell the deliciousness as you drive by! Like another reviewer mentioned, these items are FRESH and are not loaded with the preservatives that will let them sit on your counter for a long time so eat up! cost: cheap. .50 cents for regular, .75 for larger items, bolillos are $1.50. credit and debit cards accepted for purchases over $5. Anything less and you need to bring some cash. location: Located right on the corner, parking is easy and you can stop in at the liquor store and grocery store in the same strip mall. Don't be scared to travel down to 11th and G. It's a diverse neighborhood. People are nice there just like in any other neighborhood. I live in the area I liked it so much after moving to Lincoln! Overall: probably one of the best places in Lincoln to grab a treat. Everything is fresh and delicious!

5 stars, 5 Stars, 5 STARS!!! I absolutely love Pan Dulce. This place is serving up some fantastic Mexican pastries. They are just as good as the ones I've had in Mexico, and I'm so glad I can get my fix right here in Lincoln. Not only are they delicious they are damn cheap as well. Most are $.50 a piece with the exception of a few specialty varieties. They have cakes of all kinds, sweet biscuits, croissants, jelly filled pastries, donuts, cookies, churros....mmmm, Every time I go in there it seems they have some new type of sweet treat I've not seen in there before. Man, I'm getting hungry just thinking about them. The service in here is wonderful as well. The ladies that run the cash register are always smiling and friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have about their treats. Most of the goodies in here are not labeled, so if you want to be sure what something has in it just ask. They keep insane hours here as well. I believe they open at 7 AM and don't close until 10 at night, and are baking around the clock! Such dedication and passion in this place, and you can really taste it in the pastries. One thing to know, is these baked goods will dry out fast so it is best to go ahead and dig in right away. That's never a problem for me, and I'm sure when you walk in and smell the place you'll be just as eager to gobble your goodies right up.
