I've never been to Outback before, so my girlfriend and I decided to give it a shot. It had a good vibe right from the start. We came in during a rush, so the greeter said it would be a fifteen minute wait. The wait was actually closer to five minutes. We were shown to our booth, very nice. Our server, Anna , was the best. I've never been to a steak house before, but she is quite knowledgeable. I explained roughly what I wanted, and she showed me my options and was very patient we me. Fantastic service . ( Blooming onion! Try that at least once. ) Anna took care of us until the main food was served. The steaks are fantastic! Every thing was just great. Even the simple things like the baked potato was warm and delicious all the way through. Every one there just makes Outback a comfortable place for good dining. They all earned their five stars.

I have tried nearly every steakhouse in Lincoln, though for some reason I have never been to the Outback. Monday night we decided to give it a try. Monday is significant because it wasn't very busy. Yet oddly enough we waited for almost 45 minutes for our food to be brought out. I wasn't in a particular hurry, so we sat patiently and visited. I have to say, I was overwhelmed by the mediocrity. I ordered the prime rim, medium well. It came out very rare. I'm not picky and ate it without complaint, but there is a big difference between medium well and rare. I also had the rice (average) and the grilled asparagus (good but very salty). The hot bread that they brought to the table was good, and the kids especially enjoyed it since the meal took so long. I think we ate 3 loaves. Overall, I don't have anything particulary bad to say. Everything was average. I suppose that is to be expected with a chain restaurant. Average and predictable.

I took my woman & the kids here tonight & the food was good but the service sucked. The food was outstanding actually .... Which is the main saving grace of this location. We had steak & lobster... Excellent! Clam chowder was really good! Even the cheese fries were a hit . But our waitress was nowhere to be found! She just disappeared on us. So would I recommend this spot to eat? Yes, if you like great food & don't mind half ass servers who walk away & leave you wondering where in the hell they are. This spot should make you happy if that's the case!

Food is good. Drinks are weak. Haven't had a server blow me out of the water with amazing skills yet.

This is my go-to dinner spot. They are conveniently located all over the country and consistent with their food. I also like the fact that they make everything in house( I think save for the croutons and one of the salad dressings)

My steak was initially a little overcooked. I mentioned it but was hungry and didn't feel like waiting for a new one to be cooked, especially since it was still tasty. The manager insisted on giving me another full meal to go for free. When I had the second steak the next day it was just right. Great service, will definitely recommend this location.

Love this place. Bread and steaks are really good. Just wishing my ranch dressing more like ranch.

Always a good experience here! Have been here multiple times for various occasions and staff has always been super friendly! Not the biggest fan of their steak seasoning but it's always cooked well. I really enjoy their coconut shrimp. So flavorful with the marmalade! And their wedge salads!! This location is always kept clean! Drinks are good! Had the wallaby darned! It was tasty! Hubby loves the beer selection! Overall good service, good food, and a nicely taken care of resturaunt especially for a chain!

Open for Lunch on Saturday and Sunday. I almost like going for Lunch better because it's not as busy. They serve Steaks, some seafood, and chicken. They prepare the steaks fairly well and know what they are doing. If you are looking for a steakhouse and want to get together with family or friends, this is a good option for Lincoln. Nothing here is going to blow you away from a culinary perspective but you likely will not be disappointed either. Bigger then average portions are typical and the Bloomin Onion is a popular appetizer to get. I also enjoy the dark bread, it has a slightly sweet taste to it and is very good. The shrimp is also a good option but again nothing that's going to wow you. Average place, which is what you get in Lincoln for the most part. If you want an exceptional steak place, try JTK or Billys, or in Omaha, Flemings, Omaha Prime, or Mahogany.

So weak. This was our annual "burn off our gift card" night. Not really busy, all 4 of us seated right away. Menus and drinks were out quick. Then our server disappeared... and we waited... and waited... eventually she came back and we ordered. People around us came in after we did and were seated nearby. This part REALLY bugged me. We were sat near the hostess stand, pretty much behind it in a booth. Both hostesses kept jumping up and poking their head's over the ledge, basically in our booth and CREEPING ME OUT, every time. It was almost every five minutes they'd jump up, pop over, freak me out, and pop back. Ladies, if you're trying to look at what's available, kindly WALK AROUND THE BOOTH AND LOOK INSTEAD OF CONSTANTLY PEERING OVER LIKE A GARGOYLE WITH ADHD. So we waited forever for our food. The table behind us was served. The table next to us was served. Pretty much all the tables around us that came in after us, were served. In fact, the table behind us was served, ate, paid, and left before our food hit the table. When the food came, we asked for refills and ketchup, since for some odd reason most of the meals come with fries, yet there is no ketchup on any table. They asked how many ketchups, and we confusedly said, "one." Turns out, they don't have bottles like a normal establishment, but rather a communal bowl... My steak was fine, if you don't mind paying $10 for something the size of a silver dollar. Seriously, it was like a Fisher Price kiddie "My First Steak" toy. It was like steak lite. It was cooked like a steak should be at least. Everything had a tang to it though, the fries, the steak, the ranch. Even my New England Clam chowdah had it. Seriously, ease up, save it for the Awesome Blossoms or whatever that ball of deep fried onion is called here. Steak doesn't need flavoring, ever. It's steak. It's flavor should be steak. Anything other than steak flavor, is wrong. My mother in law's steak sandwich, had WAY more steak in it than my whole steak and it was cheaper. We hurried up, ate and left. The only way we'll ever be back is if we get another gift card, and then we'll trudge back in to burn that one up too. Side note, the parking blows. The lot is small, and basically you have to park in a completely different store just to walk to this place. Save yourself the time and effort, go somewhere else.

I typically tend try to go to local places but I had never been to Outback and every other place in town was packed. I now wish I had just waited to get in some place else. The moment we sat down we were rushed to order only to wait forever to get our food. We ordered the mushrooms for an appetizer they were good and the Strawberry Peach sangria I ordered was ok. Then came my clam chowder which was loaded with cayenne pepper I took two bites and couldn't eat it. My husband got his salad and it was the wrong dressing. Our meals came our steaks weren't cooked correctly. My husband's tasted like salt and cayenne pepper mine had no flavor. My shrimp again was loaded with cayenne pepper. Noticing a theme..All in all we will never go here again.

I have been to the Outback Steakhouse before. I think it is just OK for how much you spend on your food. the food seems a little greasy at times and i could go to a different restaurant and get sometime tastier and cheaper. I find myself still coming here occasionally, maybe once every year or so, hoping to find the dish that calls my name. The service we had was OUTSTANDING. That is also another reason i don't mind giving it another chance, is because they are typically very good about making sure you have everything you need.

The only thing good about this meal was the free rye bread with butter when we were seated. We had wings for an appetizer, medium, and they literally had no flavor and we completely dripping with grease! Ate a couple to give them a chance, now my stomach is feeling like I should hurl. I ordered prime rib sandwich n fries, pretty easy. The portions were small, but it didn't matter because I didn't even eat half of it, fries included! Meat was full of fat n grizzle, fries had so much salt on them I couldn't eat them. Taking it all home for my dog bc that all it's good for. My girlfriend ordered steak salad medium rare. Steak was cook good, but the salad it came with was pathetic! Looked like old iceberg bagged lettuce thrown on a plate with old, wrinkly Roma tomatoes added! Never coming back, thank you outback for a discussing meal. Our server was nice, A+ to her for having to deal with poor food but kept a great attitude.

It wasn't my idea to go to Outback (I usually avoid chains, especially chains that tend to hang around shopping malls, which I also avoid) but you have to be open to new experiences, and besides this Outback isn't located in a mall parking lot, thank God and Buddha and whoever else. Yes the bloomin' onion is good, way too big. But I was really impressed with the New Zealand lamb, and the pepper steak (with a sauce) was rockin' the joint, too. The only other chain steakhouse I've ever spent much time in was Dakota's on the east coast, and Outback easliy blows away most of its competition.

Ate dinner here tonight. It was my first time at an Outback. The food was pretty good, it wasn't great, but it was good. Our server was really, really nice. Both my Partner and I had absolutely no complaints about our food. Our meal was relatively cheap since we both got steak. You can't really go wrong here. It's a good meal at a good price.

What a pity - we have eaten at several Outbacks and always enjoyed our meal. Our first time at the Lincoln one and a great disappointment, the ribs were awful and we sent them back, and we were not the only ones sending food back to the kitchen. We'll stick to Omaha Outback from now on.

#228 I wasn't really hyped up when my mother's friend suggested that we all go to Outback Steakhouse for dinner on our first day in Lincoln. To be honest, I hadn't been to an Outback for at least a decade and Philly has definitely spoiled me in terms of offering a cornucopia of non-chain restaurants. But, with little else to choose from, we all hopped into the car and followed them 20 minutes away from their house to the Steakhouse. One thing you can rely on with chain restaurants, though, is a posting of their menus online. So, I had already checked out the menu beforehand and decided on the Grilled Ahi Tuna because it was one of the few vegetarian options they had. No matter though, the thing was delicious! Seriously, all sushi places should start offering grilled sashimi because it would be SUCH. A. HIT. The tuna had a crispy skin, sprinkled with pepper and it tasted so fresh and tender. Each bite practically melted in my mouth. I can't even remember what the tuna came with, it was so good. I definitely recommend any fish fans to order this dish. If not during a sit-down meal, then as a late-night curbside binge item after a night out on the town. =) Oh, and who wouldn't love their delicious appetizer bread?

At 5:15 on a Friday night, our party of 3 got right in. The whole staff was very polite and offered great service. Overall, our food choices were wonderful and tasted fantastic. They were super kind in helping out with substitutions for a picky eater. Overall, a wonderful dining experience from the cocktails to paying the bill. :) definitely making a return for this one!!!

We ordered curbside tonight, and I was very impressed. Someone came out to my car immediately, took my payment, and placed my bag of goodies in the car for me. When I got home, everything was as ordered, and the food was perfectly cooked.
