Who doesn't like this place. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Always good time home style cooking. Warms the soul on a cold day. Breakfast lunch or dinner you can't go wrong and always leave full and satisfied..

This was one of the best Cracker Barrels I have been to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even have free gift wrap, and did a wonderful job. The food was delicious and fresh. Great experience!

Had a nive lunch with my family today. Our waitress had some difficulty getting everything on our complicated order right- but her team stepped in and saved the day. Seems they have a good coordinated effort. Food was good!

I know Cracker Barrel is a national chain, but I can't help loving their old fashioned recipes and down home friendliness. Chicken and Dumplings? Fried Okra? Collard Greens? Fried Catfish? All while serving a complete breakfast menu? Where else can you get this stuff? Also enjoy shopping in their store afterwards. Lots of fun stuff to look at. Always enjoy a stop at Cracker Barrel.

Amazingly friendly service and delicious biscuits and gravy! Best 5 dollar breakfast I ever had.

Bad food. Overcooked and gross. Can't believe they actually charge to eat here...they should pay YOU to eat here. Avoid.

This is a fantastic place to eat. The food is fresh and well made ( the lemon aid is something you should try at least once). The service there is efficient with out making you feel rushed. It's a comfortable place to sit and eat good, country cooking. They do have a store at the entrance. Walk through that and the service will seat you. Every one should try it at least once.

I am not always a huge fan of chain restaurants, but at Cracker Barrel, one thing you can count on is consistently good food. The style of the restaurant is open, so it can be a little noisy during meal rushes. The food is filling Southern fare. Biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, meatloaf, pancakes, soups, salads, and my own personal favorite chicken fried chicken. In addition to good home style food, the staff is usually happy, friendly, and helpful. My waitress today was Diane and she took wonderful care of me. It was a relaxing and pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. On cold days, they light the fire in the main dining area in the grand fireplace. Sitting near that provides a warm and toasty treat. While you are waiting for your table to be prepared or taking a moment after your meal, the country store connected to the restaurant provides a large variety of gift items, trinkets, knick knacks, and even some of their own food products to purchase to take home.

Service is fast and friendly. Love coming here for breakfast. Their chicken fried steak is super good and love the gravy. Eggs in a basket with their sour dough bread is amazing!! Their food comes in large portions and is warm comfort food!!! Staff is always great!! Super friendly and checking in on you but not overly so. It is clean and well kept but tables are in a bit if wear. Then again this place is always busy!! I wish they would bring back the chicken pot pie!!!! And not just on their day of the week lunch menu. Wednesday I believe. Their prices are a bit high though.

A welcome place at the end of a long travel day. We stay at this exit on our drive to and from Colorado and always eat at the Cracker Barrel. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is comforting and tasty. It is fun to wander through the gift store. Love the 'down home' feeling.

Cracker Barrel is one of the most constant chains I have ever visited. I cannot recall a terrible experience in any of them. This one included. The food is good and not going to break the bank. It is a place that can accommodate groups of a few to many with little quibbling over the menu choices. It is busy here too and that gave us to the opportunity to browse the store and play around some.

Same as every CB in the U.S. Very nice atmosphere. I think that was the most I have ever been asked and given refills of coffee at one sitting. Was kind of funny because it seemed like that was our waitress' favorite thing to do. Nice place to visit here.

I will always be a fan of Cracker Barrel. The service is superb, the food is superb and they have a great menu. The wait staff is always there, not to much, just enough so that you don't have to wait for anything. Wish we had one here in Modesto.

Always crowded, which makes it a little difficult when bringing a little one along. The games at the table are always a nice to way pass the time when waiting. The food has that great "home cookin" taste to it.

My boyfriend and I went to brunch on a Sunday. We arrived probably around 10:30am and were immediately seated. We were in and out within an hour. The services was top notch that day. Our waitress was more than helpful while we were ordering and offered great suggestions. She checked up on us throughout our meal and refilled our glasses. The food tasted excellent. Their menu is full of different options and could meet anyone's needs.

I wish we had Cracker Barrel in California. I don't know why we don't. I bet they'd do real well. My experience at Cracker Barrel was AMAZING. (The clouds break open and the angles fly out whenever I say that.) Upon arriving at the door, I stopped at the sight of rocking chairs. Black, green, brown, Nebraska red... all the colors you could ever want for a rocking chair. "How random," I thought. I walked in, not to a restaurant, but to an entire store filled with Christmas decorations, Husker merchandise, jellies and jams, sweets and candies. Whoa! I didn't expect that. I didn't do my homework before I went. As you can imagine, I was quite distracted before I actually reached the dining table. My boyfriend had to peel me away. I opened the menu and found that the prices were not bad at all. I ordered two lemon pepper rainbow trout filets, mashed potatoes, fried okra and cheesy broccoli for just ten bucks! Ten bucks! You can't get that kind of food in California for ten bucks. The rainbow trout was heavenly. I thought about it, even days after that meal. The fried okra was also delicious-- perfectly battered and fried. Not greasy at all. The mashed potatoes were standard. My boyfriend ordered turnip greens and I had some that. I regretted not ordering that instead. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Definitely a Southern down home vibe. Man... I can't wait to go back!! Too bad it's so far away.

A great place to dine. I have never had a bad experience here that wasn't immediately taken care of. Service is very attentive and friendly. Management seems to always care and the food is always prepared the same no matter when you go. You can count on your meal being the same at every visit. My own experience is the food is always prepaired the way it should be. I would recommend this business to anyone that likes good down home country cooking.

The raspberry lemonade was ice cold, I must have drank a gallon of this stuff, man it was good. They had a lot on the menu, the campfire beef or campfire chicken, you get a big dish of food wrapped in aluminum, for under $9. The chicken dumplings sounded good too, but no one make better dumplings than my buddy's mom. There's catfish, fried chicken, meatloaf, all sounded really really good, took me forever to decide. I ended up ordering the low carb grilled roast beef, with onion and mushroom on top, it was over cooked and on the dry side. Homemade biscuits was pretty good. A side of green bean that was too salty, wish they would put some bacon in it. Mashed potatoes, not bad. The only thing I really liked was the breaded fried okra, they were crisp on the outside like hush puppies, but moist and delicious inside. Finished with a few scoops of homemade vanilla ice cream. You get a lot for the money, and a wide variety on the menu, now that I've been schooled, I know what to order the next time...

This place reminds me of my grandma's home cookin. When I get to missing her and want a taste of 'home," this is where I go. I've tried just about everything on their menu..... and yes I even like the "greens" lol. I think they also have a fun and friendly atmosphere, friendly service, and it's usually pretty clean. I have occasionally found the bathrooms out of TP, however.

Cracker Barrel is a successful restaurant that takes pride in their food. I've been to cracker barrel in the south and here in Nebraska, and they are very consistent. Not that I think that Cracker Barrel is terrible, but sadly this is about as good as it get on this side of Lincoln. For some reason the restaurants around here think it's ok to serve low-quality food.

Stopped in here on my way back to Ca. Made it for lunch. Have now had breakfast, lunch and dinner at a Cracker Barrel and can honestly say that it was a great expierence. The food was fantastic, the service very fast. Will be stopping here again next time I make the trip to the Mid-west.

Believe it or not Cracker Barrel is an ok place. At first I thought these places were no more than an expanded convenience store, but my Mom dragged me into one (the one outside Omaha the first time) and yes, it's a hokey-touristy place, but frankly these days that's almost charming. The food is actually good, as if you're eating on a farm and very fresh. If you need to get off the highway to eat and cannot stand the idea of McD or Subway or such, if one of these is nearby you won't go half wrong

  • Nancy C.

The last time I went to this Cracker Barrel, I ordered the beef stew. It was a moderate size serving and it would have been more appropriately named "carrot stew" as it was mostly large carrot and onion chunks with two small pieces of beef. I love vegetarian food but when I order beef stew at Cracker Barrel, of all places, I'd hope to actually find more beef than vegetable. Disappointing, and I won't return.
