Excellent value for a buffet. Went to enjoy the food with some friends . The collections was great and the price was very reasonable . They provide Middle Eastern dishes with some Indian splash. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Midweek buffet makes this restaurant a good option if you want to eat a big variety (and without a wait). Kids eat free through 6.

I was really looking forward to eating at Babylon. I am a fan of middle eastern food as well as food in general. My wife was excited about the falafel sandwich. i was excited to eat the chicken kabob, rice, and lintel soup. We will get to the food in a second. The decor was very bland. It was not welcoming nor did it excite me in any way. There was nothing that said Middle Eastern at all. My son did get a kick from the fish tank left over from OYummy. It looked like they opened before they even were done creating their vision. The food was as big of a let down as the decor. My wife's falafel had no flavor and was extremely dry. My chicken was very dry and completely over seasoned. I felt like i was eating a salt lick. It was extremely salty. The rice was dry as well. It left me not wanting to ever eat there again. The lintel soup could have been good if not for the salt and pepper parade. It had some potential. The staff was extremely nice and worked hard to please. I see them having problems on a busy night. Our food came quick because there were only three other tables. By the time we were done it was busy and took forever to get the bill. Instead of Babylon, I will call it Byebalon. It will not last long.

I'm not so sure about the less than stellar ratings here. Given I ordered a falafel sandwich during lunch, but thought the staf was super nice. And as long as a restaurant is clean, who cares what it looks like if the food is amazing. And well the food, at least what I had, was just that...amazing! This is one of the best falafel I've ever had and definitely the best in Lincoln. Plus, my sandwich was 4 bucks, so reasonable. Do not miss this place!

The food was really yummy! The beef was a little tough, but the chicken schwarma and tekka were both amazing! And of course, the yogurt garlic sauce was HEAVEN! The hummus was also really tasty. Good and garlicky, with a beautiful drizzle of the yummiest olive oil! The decor is weird, but I couldn't care less. We had polite, prompt service, and really good, high quality food. It's nicer than Sinbad's although not as inexpensive. I will definitely be back!!

Come for the authentic middle eastern food. Their baba ganoush is better than Sinbad's -- best I've had in Lincoln. The smoky flavor comes from cooking the eggplant over an open flame. Hummus was excellent. Loved the lentil soup and the ochra soup (not as crazy about the spinach). I had the chicken kuftah kabab, which was excellent. My wife had the falafel, which she enjoyed. I like the middle eastern pickle -- a pink, crunchy vegetable. The pita bread never ran out and they did not charge extra. Admittedly, the decor of this place is odd, and the service -- while extremely friendly -- leaves room for improvement. Still, our meal was reasonably priced and very tasty. I hope they make it, because I'd like to return often.

Lamb kabob was tasty. Ask for medium or it comes well done. Hummus is great. Combo platter was a hit also. The eggplant soup was five star.
