I went here cause it is usually pretty busy so I thought " how bad can it be, it gets business" Big mistake. Their food is " fresh frozen" reheated. The rice was dry and I think cardboard would have had more taste. All in all I wouldn't give their food to my dog as he would probably till me his food is better. If you are looking for decent Mexican go to the grocery store and get canned food and boxed rice it would be better than what this place will serve u. Is there a negative star rating? That's what this place should have. Only giving them the one cause I have to.

I was visiting family in Helena recently and I was asked what kind of food I would like to eat one day and I said, "Mexican!" so La Casa Fiesta was suggested. I am so glad we went there...it was amazingly good and fresh. I am a big fan of chile rellenos and the one I had was fantastic. The rice and beans were extra good, too. I am going back to Helena soon and I am making it a priority to go back to La Casa Fiest. BTW, the service was great, too! The location might be a little sketchy for someone to find if they are not familiar with Helena, but it would be worth your while to ask someone how to get there.

They make everything fresh. Including the Taco shells! The salsa was the perfect blend of spice and flavor. They sell the salsa by the quart too! Its a little hard to locate, but its definately worth the effort.

Great mexican food in Helena. A little hard to find, but it's worth it. I love the Chili Rellanos. The home made salsa is awesome too.

Was impressed with the time it took to get our order on the la Casa fiesta. The food was alright but for the price it was not nearly as good as what it should have been. I would not recommend this compared to other Mexican restaurants in town.

Friendly waitstaff and generous portions. Enjoyed shredded beef burrito w red sauce a lot . My wife enjoys spicy food too but the red sauce was hotter than she liked. My brother in law had milder green sauce but found it too bland. They need an intermediate medium sauce choice for them Gws

Not impressed. Service was absolutely terrible. After we were seated no one came to take our drink order. When our waitress finally did arrive, she was very rude. She sighed loudly and repeatedly, and acted like she was somehow inconvenienced by having to do her job. She also never checked once to see if we needed refills of our drinks (after we finally got them), or our chips and salsa. I had to walk up to the counter twice and get the cook's attention to get refills of our drinks and salsa. We didn't leave a tip (lol), we do not reward dismal service. I asked our waitress for some hot salsa. She said they didn't have any. Not that they were out, they just didn't carry any. Excuse me, but you dare call yourself a Mexican restaurant and you don't even have any hot salsa? That is just inexcusable. The salsa they did have was decent, but I crave a much higher heat level. Also, the food was very underwhelming, bland, and tasteless for the most part. Additionally the prices were exorbitant while the portion sizes were very small. The high prices were what you would expect to see at a high class, three course Mexican restaurant, but the food just didn't measure up. I could have found higher quality Mexican food and bigger portion sizes at Taco John's. We won't be going back, ever. There's far, FAR better Mexican restaurants in town.

as we entered we were quickly seated. The salsa is excellent and I bought a jar to take home. Unfortunately the margaritas are a wine based drink-so no tequila-and they had run out of wine. my wife ended up with a bud lite stawberry rita. I grew up in Arizona and have lived in Texas for many years as well. so I can honestly tell you the food here is 1 star at best. the salsa is still one of my top 10. There is no seasoning on the food. hot sauce is just a way to cover up lack of seasoning. Making it burning hot is not good food. Once again my favorate saying truely applies here. You only think this is good food because you have never had excellent Mexican food. Taco trucks in San Antonio Texs are a 5 star resurants compaired to this pathetic attempt at food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
