I walked in really wanting to like this place because the building is so cute and I love bread! After dodging the sprinkler which was set up right in front of the main entrance (and still getting a little wet), I walked inside and was greeted by someone who appeared to be the owner after my conversation with her. I asked her what her soup of the day was and she told me they only did soup until 2pm. (It was 3:30pm) I didn't realize how late it was because I had worked through my lunch. I told her that I had never been in before (to which I got a blank stare, no friendly advice on what to order etc) and then went on to order a hot sandwich but was told her grill was off. She then read down the list of things she was out of and the things she COULD sell me (in an annoyed tone), and by this time I was so bummed and annoyed myself that I just thanked her and left. It had a great atmosphere inside and I'm sure I could have found something to eat, but was so thrown by the bad customer service that I decided to just leave. The big banner out front reads "Now open Mondays!" but it didn't seem like they were ready for the business.

Every time I walk in I am greeted with a friendly "hello!" I really appreciate that and I love trying new things from the bread board! Their cinnamon swirl bread makes the most AMAZING French toast. Lately though I have a guilty little obsession with their white bread... Toast some up with a little butter and honey... Comfort food at it's finest!

Their sandwiches are fantastic! I don't know what it is, but it just hits the spot. The bread is great too! They mill their own wheat so you get count on some delicious whole grain breads there.

They offer free samples: but beware, if you take a piece, but all you actually purchase is a cookie and coffee, you're persona non grata!

Ate breakfast here last week. We had a breakfast sandwich (large, good for sharing) and a cinnamon roll. The breakfast sandwich is not listed on their menu, so make sure to ask. The cinnamon is very good. The new owner now makes real cinnamon reals instead of caramel rolls sold as cinnamon rolls. They are probably the best cinnamon rolls in town. Overall a good value for two people. Looking forward to going back.
