Amazingly good food would come back again when we come to town.the service was very friendly. Nothing better than coming to a foreign place and having good food !!!

Was very disappointed in the food and the service was so slow. No excuse we were there during off peak time and only 3 tables had customers

I highly doubt this is the best Mexican food in Butte. The place is dark, and the food is extremely generic and probably frozen. There was nobody there which probably should have been a good indicator for us to leave. My dad took one bite and had to send his food back because it was so salty. Thankfully the waitresses are sweet and were extremely helpful.

Best Margaritas in Butte! Always good, Consistently good service and food. Friendly staff, accommodating for small children.

Quite literally, the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Jarred salsa. Store bought chips (Dollar Store?), pre-packaged entrees and sides. We each left most of our meal on the table. My entree was so bad that I finished my (pre-cooked) rice and re-fried beans and left 80% of the entree intact. If the choice is dining here or using the occasion to begin your diet - good luck and may you lose all of the weight you hope to lose.

I have had good food here before. But the last experience I had there is what prompted me to make a Yelp account. My last experience was HALF a star, but like I said I had some great meals here. I came in on a Saturday (1/25/2014) at 4 PM, there was only one other group there. The waitress did not bring me a menu for TEN minutes (she DID bring chips and salsa) and I had to ask. She said she forgot. Okay, it happens. Then I had to ask again to have my order taken. I ordered the Carne Asada. Food came out promptly, but the Carne Asada (about $16) was inedible due to it being BURNT...I am talking, 75-80% of the meat was BLACK. I can't even believe the cook or the waitress decided it was a good idea to serve it. Now I HATE sending things back unless I absolutely have to, but considering the price and the fact that I could not eat the strip of charcoal, I sent it back. However, it took TWENTY MINUTES for the waitress to bother to come back and ask if I needed anything. I sent the food back, and they offered to bring me something else, but by then I was so pissed that I lost my appetite. So I asked for the bill and asked if they would take the meal off...I said I was happy to pay for the iced tea and even the "free" chips. Waitress NEVER returned with the check. Never saw her again, except from a distance while she chatted it up with the cook and dishwasher. I had to march to the counter and be helped by someone else who knew what had happened, and took the total bill from 19 to 10 dollars. He did explain that they had gotten a new cook recently. I said that I didn't eat any of the meal, so could they take the whole thing off? Finally he took it down so all I paid for was the iced tea. It might have been nice for someone to give a half-assed "Sorry about that". Total time, 55 minutes on a slow, slow Saturday with the result of no meal. I am not sure if I will ever go back now that there is another option in town. Which makes me sad, but I am not willing to do that again. At least it only cost $2.25.

Perhaps it is true that this is the best Mexican restaurant Butte has to offer. To this I say: I am so sorry, Butte. Our meals were flavorless and uninspired, and delivered to our tables by servers who were even more flavorless and uninspired. It certainly didn't seem busy --perhaps a third of the tables were occupied -- but the servers seems flummoxed and, quite frankly, a bit bothered that we had inconvenienced them by visiting their restaurant. We were shown to a table in silence, greeted by our server with "do you know what you want?" and treated to "I should be off right now" by the woman who came around to fill our water glasses. The best moment of the night was when the waitress corrected my pronunciation of "camarones." Gringa, please. The rice was undercooked. The tortillas were burnt. The horchata tasted like dishwater. All three parts of the shrimp combo -- purportedly a sampling of three different dishes --tasted the same. Nothing was toxic. Technically speaking, it was all edible. I'm very sorry to say that's about the kindest comment I can offer.

Pretty decent mexican food. I'd recommend trying to get in for the lunch specials on Mon-Fri, it's a lot cheaper. Had the fajitas and they were excellent. Tacos, not so much. I'll stick with fajitas. Service is polite but slow the 2 times I have eaten here and it wasn't busy.

This is not THE best in Butte! Servers are friendly. Arrived at opening time, waited 5mins for waitress, placed order, then told will be longer, their oven was still heating up. Salsa is spicy‼. Tortilla chips appear to be homemade. Chicken enchiladas are dry.

Food was very good and prices were reasonable. Our waitress was somewhat short and seemed in a hurry even though the restaurant was not that busy. Overall, I thought it was good and would recommend it.

Great service, always. My favorite is the bacon-wrapped shrimp - ample portions, so you can always enjoy some leftovers. This is a family business, and a happy connection among staff is evident. Food comes out quickly; hot; and delicious. Servers keep chips and salsa filled up,and adult beverages are available from the adjacent bar (restaurant staff delivers). This is a great choice for visitors to Butte due to its proximity to area hotels. Yum! You won't be disappointed!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
