I love wild joes. It has become a place where I always meet with my friends and its just a wonderful environment. The employees are always friendly and although I dont drink coffee, their tea is delicious. Their seating is really comfortable and you don't feel like you're sitting on the person next to you. Everything is wonderful.

Good place to sit and enjoy the morning. The place is large and has lots of different kinds of seating. The couches are comfy, but I had a hard time finding a power outlet to plug my laptop into. The only downside was that the staff wasn't that friendly...it wasn't horrible, but just not that great either. Great location on Main Street with a couple tables out front. Fun place to sit and people watch as the town wakes up.

I love to drink my coffee and do work at this coffee shop. I usually come in around 10 or 11am and am always greeted by two all star Baristas who are always in exceptional moods and treat me like I am there everyday of the week instead of about 3 times a month. I have been doing work in coffee shops for a long time since I am a full time entrepreneur and these all stars Baristas are some of the best I have seen. I want to ask them where they get their earings, because my mom would love them for an xmas gift. I was however reading a book a yesterday and a a guy with glasses and an iphone level was drilling and doing "construction" like tasks which made it difficult for me to read and get work done. Luckily, the Barista All star squad made up for it in smiles and great tasting coffee.

I wish I could give this place five stars for atmosphere and two stars for coffee. The space is awesome - big and open, with lots of couches and nooks to meet and talk, or cozy off and read or study. Definitely fulfills that community-meeting place aspect of a coffee shop. But their coffee is pretty terrible. I met up with a bunch of girlfriends there, and we ordered from all over the menu - drip coffee, americano, latte, chai tea, regular tea. None of us finished our drinks, because they were all terrible. My americano was served so unbelievably hot my tongue was burned for days. Great space, but their coffee really needs to up its game in terms of quality and consistency.

Wild Joes is a great place to hang out but the turnover isn't the best. Too many signs all over the business.

Worst espresso in Bozeman. I've tried it a few times and their coffee drinks are consistently burnt and bitter. They do have a good selection of tea and chai. This is a good place to work. Plenty of seating and very large conference tables near power outlets make for a comfortable cafe-office. The WIFI is spotty at best and usually I can't get on at all. If you want a decent cup of espresso, go across the street to Leaf and Bean.

Another vendor meeting place for our trip to Bozeman. Again, no coffee was had, but the tea was good. What I liked most about this place was the atmosphere. I didn't interact with the staff (my drink was purchased for me), but the variety of seating options, music, and openness made me want to stay just a bit longer. There's 1 star off because of the flies I encountered, but other than that, I liked the level of comfort I found here.

I've been to my fair share of coffee shops and this one is special. Good coffee with reasonable prices. Nice seating, free internet. What takes the cake is the free, self-serve bike and ski maintenance area in the back! Great idea!! Could use another bathroom: CCR! (caffeine colon response, not Creedence)

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Bozeman. Great drinks and food but the atmosphere is what really does it for me. Comfy chairs, constantly changing artwork and the decor make this a great place to be.

I tried 3 other coffee shops on my 10 day "pseudo work trip" in Bozeman, and I came back to this one the most when I needed to get some serious work done. This place is very spacious.. and can either be extremely loud and packed or chill and quiet depending on time of the day. They have several large solid tables with comfortable chairs and you can find spots in the back where you can take a phone call in relative peace and quiet. Little skimpy on the power outlets but you can make do. Coffee was good but nothing worth talking about... definitely wasn't burnt tasting like others mentioned. I'm a black coffee guy so I have no idea how their espresso drinks are. One big bonus is they actually have decent food. They have some tasty egg, meat and cheese bagels in the morning and they start serving freshly cooked pizza from upstairs in the afternoons. Not really much to complain about, even when it was busy I was able to set up a workstation at any given moment.

I have come to enjoy Wild Joe's Coffee house. The gals behind the counter are super sweet and know how to make a Cafe au lait. There is a lot of great seating and it is easy to get work done given how comfortable it is. And of course, free wifi! Also, the people watching is superb. Today I saw a fab drag queen with some amazing high heeled white boots. Work it girl, work it.

I really want to like this place. It's huge and has lots of comfortable seating to work at. The location is great and there was wide selection of food and snacks. I haven't tried the food but will definitely head their for lunch some day. The main problem I have is that when I got a latte the shots of espresso were very burnt tasting. It even smelled like burnt tobacco :( Some times I will ask the barista to make a new one because some days you just pull some wonky shots but I didn't taste it until I was in my car. Also the style/decoration of the place does seem a bit odd. The logo and sign suggests that its going to be a country themed decour while the inside is an odd mix of modern and ....country? I don't know. It didn't seemed cohesive.

A great coffee shop with plenty of room and comfy chairs to sprawl out with friends and/or read a book. Had an americano and it was excellent. Free Wi-fi as well making it a good spot to hang for a few hours while you work.

On a road trip from Boise to DC, we stayed in the wonderful town of Bozeman. Whenever I travel I try to find a local cafe and get a chai, since they are my favorite drink, and I think I've found the best in the world (in SLC, UT of all places). But this place, with their awesome atmosphere, bike/ski shop in back..oh man. it fulfilled all my requirements. Hand-written menu, nice people behind the counter, good music.. Wish I was closer to Bozeman! Oh yeah- their chai is now 2nd best in the world. so far :) Sweet, frothy, not too cinnamony or spicy. Loveeeee. They even put it in my own mug.

Tasty ice cream and comfy atmosphere! Try the chocolate chip mint.

l tried 3 coffee shops over a two week trip to Bozeman and found Wild Joe's had the best service and the best Americanos. Baristas were friendly and remembered me and my order after one visit.

Love love love their vanilla and spiced chai tea. I found the place on vacation with my sister. It was a perfect place/drink for that rainy day! It seems like a pretty big hang out for the college students to get work done with the free WiFi, even saw that they had a few games on hand for people to play. Now that I live in Bozeman I want a chai tea from Joe's everyday!

One thing important to know about Wild Joe's is the coffee beans are ORGANIC, FAIR TRADE and LOCALLY ROASTED. This is the only coffee shop in Bozeman, that I know of, that can boast this. I find the coffee drinks generally good tasting and strong. For food there is pizza made on site with fresh, daily made sourdough whole grain crust. It is fantastic. Many of the baked goods are made by a local bakery and cafe, Elle's Belles, and there is an ingredients list by the register for those with food sensitivities. There are also delicious sandwiches and bagels. For now I believe they still serve chai that is powder based, not brewed, so that is a downfall if you are a chai afficianado. Wild Joe's is spacious and the seating is varied and plentiful. I am not handicapped but my guess is even those who are wheelchair bound could maneuver. WiFi works and music is generally unobtrusive. For the person who complained that the logo and decor were inconsistent, get a life! :) Guess what, we often mix Western and contemporary in Montana! NEWSFLASH: They now have a bike and ski workshop in the back (on the alley) that is FREE to use. If you are traveling from out of town and need to wax your skis, or true your wheels, this is your place. My pet peeve in eateries is how hygienic they are. At another local coffee shop the counter person actually *wiped their nose on their sleeve, right in front of me at the register!* Which I did make mention of, directly to him. Ew. At Wild Joe's the counter staff needs to take care *not to touch the food with bare hands.* Seriously, if you've been handling cash and working the register, your hands are not clean. They aren't. Other than that type of *occasional* slip, this coffee shop should be worthwhile for most applications.

Great coffee and good people watching from the sidewalk seats.

Whenever I'm downtown walking around, shopping or sightseeing, this is the place I stop into for a drink. Often times there is live music and the atmosphere is always upbeat. The ice cream is also good! Servers are friendly. I totally understand the 2 hour limit on internet, people park themselves here for hours and it can be hard to get a spot. Which means I usually grab my drink and go. But the few times I have sat and relaxed have been great!

  • Jewels B.

Delicious MT ice cream... Get the coffee with chocolate swirl. Also loved the vanilla bourbon tea. Great live music on Saturday evening we visited. Staff also very courteous and friendly.

Their house chai was delicious and their lemon poppyseed muffin was to die for. A hip crowd, but not alienating at all. I like this place!

  • Nat L.

I like the vibe here. I like the tea selection. I like the staff. My only complaints 2hr. limit on the internet and the pastries seem a bit over priced. I don't know what is going on in Bozeman but I have yet to find a reasonably priced muffin. This is coming from someone who used to live in Seattle. I'm used to stuff being over priced! All in all though I do come here a fair amount. They often fun live bands and they always have good tea, as I've already said.

  • Dylan W.

AWESOME!! I came in for the live music and was impressed by the size and quality of this establishment. Top notch coffee and service. I tried the espresso over ice cream, it was heaven! Possibly my new favorite coffee spot in Bozeman.

great cappuccino - made with goat's milk! imparted a decent amount of unique flavor similar to a goat's milk cheese. Worked really well. Did not care for the hemp milk latte - much too strong a "grassy" flavor. Their white chocolate mocha, although too sweet for myself, was highly rated by the wife. Overall, they use a great bean, brew well with their machine, and offer a great selection of milks (almond, coconut, goat, hemp, others).

  • Ben G.

Great coffee. It rivals the best I've had back in California. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Very cozy. It looks like they also support local artists as there is some very nice artwork on the walls. My only complaint: Every time someone pushes or pulls a chair across the floor it makes a really loud BRRRRAAAAPPPPPPPP sound. It's very distracting, even with headphones on, because it also vibrates the floor. It'd be great if they could attach felt pads or something on the bottom of all the chairs so that there's not so much friction and noise.

I was suggested Wild Joe's by the girl at Naked Noodle on my first day in town, and what a great suggestion it was!! Super friendly staff, amazing everything, homey feel, and tons of variety. I came here every morning I was in Bozeman, and would make this my go to spot if I lived in the area. Great job Wild Joe's!!! I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Bozeman. It's a must if you're a coffee/tea drink. The hemp milk Rishi chai is amazing!

  • Juanita T.

Great atmosphere - great location. The inside is very western and spacious. The breakfast burrito was above average and their salsa peptic syrup on the side was really good. Disappointed with the everyday House Blend medium roast - it was super bitter like it was under extracted but the Columbian pourover was excellent! Seriously - its a coffee house and the quality of the everyday house blend should be better...

Tastes like Starbucks. Burnt coffee bean taste. Not a fan. Nope. Two stars for great set up and service.

  • Andrew M.

Wild Joe's has good coffee, a great tea selection, awesome pastry choices and, most important of all, a great vibe. The staff is cool. They'll even recommend you other good coffee spots when they're closing up. Note the funny signs in the bathroom; they speak to their sense of humor. I love the big, comfy couches, the solid wood tables with lots of space, plenty of outlets, great music and great lighting. Their internet has been spotty a few times I've been there, and the staff wasn't able to help since I think the owner usually handles that, so I'd love to see them tighten that up (only reason I didn't give 5 stars). And they close at 7 most night, which I think they could extend to 9 and do well. if you're looking for a downtown spot for coffee or to crank out some work, definitely check out Wild Joe's.

Outstanding place on Main to have a nice cup of coffee. There is ample seating at tables, lounge chairs, and couches. One draw back is that when a line forms it becomes quite contested as there is a large beam right by the register. Not sure how to fix that. Overall, I really enjoy stopping in mid day during work to get out of the office.

  • Juan T.

Not too thrilled with our visit here. The coffee was good but not too thrilled with the variety or freshness of the baked goods. They were not very pleased to exchange the scone for another as it appeared stale to us. We are from out of town and feel we made the wrong choice this morning.

    (3)
  • Jessica N.

This coffee shop merited two stops on our three day visit. The coffee was strong and rich. The maple chai lattes was spicy with a good amount of foam on top. We also had three types of ice cream - fresh huckleberry, salted caramel, and creamy coffee. Yum, yum!

  • Marika N.

As a coffee and Wilcoxson's addict, Wild Joe's has become one of my favorite places in town. I'm only in town to visit relatives for a few weeks every year, but it's my favorite spot to grab ice cream, satisfy my need for caffeine and get work done on the wi-fi.

    (5)
  • Ian V.

Long lines, but awesome space, coffee, and ice cream. Need more non-GF options though for food. A lot of options for seating, big area to hang out. Free wifi

  • Veronica C.

I'd give this place a 3.5 stars, so I decided to round up. My friend and I were in need of a place to chill while we decided what to do for the day. Wild Joes was the perfect spot. We hopped on their wifi, ordered some coffee, and my friend ordered a slice of veggie pizza that looked pretty delicious (although it was reheated). Because we checked in, we also got a free scoop of ice cream... score! I just had to try the Huckleberry flavor... Wilcoxson's ice cream is delicious! Staff was really friendly, although there seemed to be some confusion as to our pizza order (they forgot to put in the oven to heat).

  • Ryan S.

Good coffee and the people here are super cool. I got a double espresso and it was made perfectly. I also wanted a quick bit to eat and Hazen's Meat Breakfast burrito was super fresh and a good complement to the drink. Great vibe for getting work done, and the partnership with local artists that others have mentioned is apparent.

    (5)
  • Lindsay D.

The coffee is okay, but service is slow, and the baristas consistently discourteous. Snootiness must be a prerequisite for working here.

    (2)
  • J J.

The staff here is usually awesome! Good coffee, BUT, it has been brought to my attention that you should NEVER HOLD BUSINESS MEETINGS HERE due to accusations of evesdropping and the stealing 8f people's ideas by the staff.I have heard this a few too many times. Do not hold any sort of meeting here, quiet or loud, the owner is listening and has zero problem with it.

    (3)
  • Adeline X.

Great coffee. We stumbled across this place when we happened to park right in front. I had the iced mocha to go and my partner had the drip coffee. The coffee is a little strong but I really liked the taste. Would return if I ever visit Bozeman again.

I have to admire a business that doesn't take itself too seriously. The signs in the window: "People love us on Yelp" and right next to it "People hate us on Yelp." Put me in the latter category. Although I don't really hate it, I just didn't find a lot to admire about it. I like coffee shops with a small-town vibe and even more so when they're non-chain. Wild Joe's has a lot of potential with its charm, fun interior, and location, but when it comes to its product, coffee, it squanders its potential. It was pretty busy on a typical Sunday in downtown. Being busy doesn't excuse the employees who barely acknowledge customers, enter the order, collect the money and move on to the next person in line without so much as a "thank you". And on a busy day to have only one barista? Yikes. Maybe the other called in sick. It was a good ten to fifteen minute wait. And if there's food as part of the order? Forget it. Put your feet up and read the paper - provided you can find a seat. Despite all that, I was hopeful the coffee would be good since I had to wait so long. Sigh. The coffee was tasteless and watery. It was hot, though. So there was that to keep Wild Joe's from being completely devoid of a star rating for its product. I admire a business that doesn't take itself too seriously, as long as they have something worthwhile to justify it. Maybe next time.

On my most recent trip to Bozeman, I found myself stopping by here for coffee a few times. The location, near the heart of downtown Bozeman, is very convenient. It is a large space, with varied seating, and people seem to camp out here for hours at a time. They also offer two hours of free wi-fi with purchase. It is easy to see why they were voted the #1 Coffeehouse in the "Best of Bozeman". You even get a size upgrade with Yelp check-in. I had my standard iced latte, and they did a good a job with it. There is definitely a sweet note to the beans they use (Red Bird Coffee blends that are just for Wild Joe's). The service was generally good, but there were some highs and lows. In general, the guys at the counter were eager to serve and the gals seemed somewhat reluctant to move into a higher gear. This is just my impression, but it carried across multiple visits. I also tried their dirty iced horchata, and it was quite refreshing. Several food items are available, and they are even serving Colombo's New York style pizza by the slice (which is a welcome addition).

  • Sabrina J.

Great coffee and friendly staff - loved the seating, super spacious for group outings. Cool/chill/relaxed vibe. I went simple with a cafe latte and it was peeerrffeeccttiiooonnn. I would come here every morning if I could.

Such a great atmosphere! Just stopped in one day to avoid the rain and was pleasantly surprised with some live music! Oh yeah, and the coffee is good.

  • Andy A.

I love Wild Joes... not only is it the best tasting coffee in Bozeman, but it's also the most community oriented. They're constantly working with local artists both for the art on the walls and the live music they play there. They also help organize a ton of community projects, like when the Westboro Baptist "Church" came to town and Wild Joes sponsored free ice cream for everyone after the peaceful protest. Also they give out free ice cream on Small Business Saturday if you can provide a receipt showing you supported a small business that day. Now for the coffee, not much to be said other than yum. The baristas always remember me and are friendly. They have by far the best black coffee in town, rich and full of flavor.

    (5)
  • Max G.

This is my go to coffee shop in Bozeman, I've been here easily over 50 times. I've tried multiple drinks, but mostly get the dirty horchata. All in all, from a serious coffee drinker, they always put out solid drinks. Another plus is that they have the largest selection of milk alternatives of any coffee shop in Bozeman. They carry cow's milk, goat's milk, soy milk, almond milk, rice milk, and hemp milk. The wait time is your normal coffee shop wait time. I'm having a hard time believing other reviewers who said they waited over 10 minutes. They're usually pretty consistent here. It can get pretty full during peak hours, but they offer A LOT of seating, and I'm typically able to find a place to work. During the busy hours there's sometimes a line, but it always moves quickly. What puts it at 5 stars is the great service. I usually go here with my friend who has a deadly combination of food allergies and indecisiveness. Each time we go up to the counter it takes my friend about 5 to 10 minutes to order her drink. Seriously. And each time the staff is so patient. So thank you Wild Joes staff.

Wild Joe's was one of the very first places I visted when I first settled in town.. being from cali! And I still remember falling in love with this adorbs coffee spot that is a great mix of coffee, people, and music. All their drinks are delicious & I'm a huge almond/hemp milk girl so this is also a plus. Theyre alsoalways having lil events and live music.. always good vibes in there. Check it out!

    (5)
  • Jean M.

My husband and I stopped in for a cup of coffee and it was good - the almond latte was delicious and ready in under five minutes. There was a full dessert menu, as well as tea options. Seemed like a great hang out spot as well. The baristas were personable and knowledgable. I'd pick here over Rockford cafe forms cup of coffee.

  • Matthew W.

Wild Joe's is a good spot to set up, hunker down, and work for hours at a time. It's a reasonably spacious coffee shop (though it certainly does get packed sometimes). While not the best in town, their coffee is good. They have an expansive menu with frequently changing specialty drinks. And to top it off, an eye-boggling, artery-clogging array of Wilcoxson's ice cream! Wild Joe's certainly doesn't come without drawbacks. The shop can get exceptionally loud, and, while enjoyable, the live bands that occasionally play there are not conducive to intense studying or quiet working. The owner of Wild Joe's is another turn-off. While he drives a battery electric-converted Subaru, this East-Coaster is more businessman than passionate coffee shop owner. Compare to the owner of Rockford - a spirited coffee brewer who will talk to you extensively about complex roasting techniques. Ron would rather talk to you about his various connections to CEOs and celebrities. The self-identified "serial entrepreneur" unfortunately can't put the same love and enthusiasm into his coffee as can the young owners of Zocalo.

While in town for a friend's wedding, work (unfortunately) called. Needing a place to hole up with free wi-fi for a morning, Wild Joe's proved to be the perfect spot. The space is great for work, with plenty of tables and chairs (though the plugs can be a bit hard to reach from certain seats). The drip coffee is fantastic, the assorted pastries and baked goods are yummy (yes, I had a massive gingerbread cookie for breakfast. I feel your judging eyes and I don't care), and the baristas were super friendly. I'm sure they are used to dealing with folks looking to grab some coffee and some work space. So thanks, Wild Joe's. I'll be back around the next time I have to work on my vacation. (the joys!) [They also appear to have breakfast sandwich and lunch options, including pizza. And ice cream. Hell, I could make a day of it here.]

Wild Joes Coffee has an artsy ambience and is a nice place to hang out. We tried the white chocolate latte and it was excellent! I can taste the coffee flavor and it is not as sweet as the other cafes. However, the dark chocolate frappe was not as good. I find it very sweet for a dark chocolate frappe. They also serve ice creams. Salted caramel crunch is wildly good! If you are a Yelper, they currently have a check-in promo where you can get a free ice cream for an order of coffee! Yum! Overall, the experience was excellent! I rate it 4.5/5 because of dark chocolate frappe.

I've only been to four or so coffee shops in Bozeman, and Wild Joe*s is definitely my favorite. It has a really neat cozy, eclectic vibe. Their drinks and baked goods are always delicious, and the dine-in mugs are a nice touch. I've yet to visit when there's a band performing, but the local art that's displayed is always cool to see. It does get crowded at times but it's absolutely worth the wait.

All the barista's are wonderful, nice, and know how to treat their customers. Tons of variety in every aspect, (food, live music, coffee, customers). Best coffee in town especially if you are looking for an experience when you go in there!

I was visiting Big Sky, MT when I stopped by for internet access on a Friday evening. Although the music was loud, the singing guitarist has a good voice and he played covers and his music. It's a huge coffee shop and very comfy so you can stake out your personal space. Staff are friendly and it really tops off a great 1st time experience. Try it.

Wild Joe's is meticulous to detail and staying up on with what is hip and new, bringing culture to your coffee experience! Ron works his tail off to provide excellent coffee and the likings!

You even get a size upgrade with Yelp check-in!!! that was in one reviews but hey, the place is so comfortable with varied types for seating, great menu of drinks and dessert, who cares if you get a size up, this is the place to go to.... yes, i can see why anyone would want to hang out here even do homework assignments.. OK. Here's the deal.... Being from WA and living in the Seattle area I have become a bit of a coffee snob. That being said, when visiting a friend in Bozeman I had two main quests 1) friend time 2) find coffee! So after snatching up my buddy, she took me on a quest to assist me in finding my coffee haven and this was stop #1. I found the ladies behind the counter to be a bit... well... I hate to say it, but slow. And not physically slow, but slow as in 'I just don't get it', slow. As stated before I'm a coffee snob and I know what I like and how I like it. I made my request (16 oz., 180 degree, soy, caramel latte, little foam) and she sort of looked at me in disbelief. I then had to repeat my request two more times for her to remember it and then after waiting for my drink, she still had to ask how hot I wanted it. The end result, I will admit, was, ok. The coffee beans were of decent quality but nothing to write home about, the soy milk was not organic (I asked), and the overall taste was that of a decent drive-through coffee stand. My friend had warned me that Montana is NOT like Washington when it comes to coffee and she was right. This place is ok but NOT top-notch and not my #1 choice for a Bozeman cup of coffee, or anywhere else for that matter.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large.
