Good food, great prices, relaxing atmosphere! What more can you ask for?
Great place, great prices and very welcoming owners. Try the fried green beans and broccoli salad.
Stopped in from Gulf Shores to Southaven. Read reviews and sounded like a great local stop for our family of 4. We were right! Kids loved the horse ride inside. Family friendly staff, great local food and relaxed atmosphere. Worth the 4 minute drive off I-55.

My first night in Mississippi, the boyfriend and I decided to go out for dinner and ended up at Woody's. We sat in the high-back chairs in the dining room, which are fantastic - so comfortable and so fun. I had been craving fried pickles and when I asked them if they served fried pickle chips or spears, they were kind enough to make me a special order of fried pickle spears (which I highly recommend trying). It was so sweet that they went out of their way to do that, and they were delicious. I had a pulled pork sandwich and boyfriend had the catfish po' boy. Delicious. I will absolutely go back if I ever find myself in Mississippi again (which I will, because I love that place).
I would drive from California to Mississippi for the Buffalo chicken po' boy I had here. I am not even kidding. Driving from Gulf Shores, AL to St. Louis, Mo guaranteed a meal stop somewhere. I pulled up Yelp and this was the place that had a good amount of stars. I read a review and we took the detour off the road to find it. SO worth it. I can't even. This place doesn't look like much. You might even scoff at it. Make no mistake, it is clean and professional and DELICIOUS. The food was fresh and perfect, and the service was so amazing. Our waitress was friendly, sweet, and had knowledge of the whole menu. Prices were super cheap! We even met the guy who was about to take over from his grandpa, who had just moved back from Chicago to do so. He was super nice and talked to us about the history of the place for a while. They've got a cool bar, too. And clean bathrooms! We needed to charge our phones so they took us to an executive table in the back with bloody amazing high-backed, super-comfy office chairs so that we could use the plug ins and free wifi. Oh, and throwing the peanut shells on the floor is pretty cool, too. ;) But really. The buffalo chicken po' boy. O. M. G. Heaven. Homemade pickles, garden fresh tomatoes, and the most amazing buffalo chicken I've ever had. Somehow it works with the fresh grated Parmesan, and the flavor combination was just excellent. Guy Fieri, GET HERE. DINERS, DRIVE INS, AND DIVES MATERIAL FOR REAL.
Sadly, Woody's does not open until 4;00 pm on weekdays. Woody's had 4 stars before I wrote the review, so I used that ranking. The outside location looked cool and I will return and then update my post the next time we pass through (on the weekend). Woody's is just off I-55, Exit 185, East We ended up at the oriental buffet next door (see my review for 1 Chinese Restaurant = 2 star).

I was driving by Winona on I-55 around noon on a Monday, and couldn't Yelp up many non-fast-food options that were actually open then. So, I decided to go with one of my teenaged favorites, Pizza Inn. This is your basic pizza buffet, pasta, and salad place. However, this particular location does it very well, lots of nice fresh pizzas, good selection of salad-bar ingredients, and three pasta dishes. Pretty good for what it is. I had to go with four stars because their taco pizza was even fresh and tasty, and I never usually eat taco pizza. It's located in a small strip mall right by City Hall.

Reviews:
They are located next to Woody's Old Town Grill, where we really wanted to go for lunch on a Thursday, but sadly they are not open until 4pm. 1 Chinese Restaurant is right next door. The lunch buffet extremely limited and your usual rural norm (meaning lacking in basic seasoning and too greasy). The service is poor to non-existent, however, they are open for Lunch. The bathroom was clean. The fried chicken wings were good. The white rice was cooked correctly. The buffet had 2 (chicken) entrees, noodles, fried rice, soup, couple fried items and pudding. Two people, 1 Tea, 1 Water cost $14.50 We would not return. Just off I-55, Exit 185, East

Sandwich fine. Staff not good. Poor communication skills. The guy behind me in line left without his food because the nice lady behind the counter couldn't understand his order. Restrooms needed cleaning.
