If eating there two times in one day doesn't say how I feel, then I don't know what will!! The service was exceptional! The food was perfect! I ate the Low Country Shrimp & Grits for lunch and then the Chicken Piccata for supper. Usually when you have a huge party, everything is chaos. This was not my experience tonight. We had about 40 people and all the meals were delivered in record time! Cannot say enough good things!!

Worst shrimp and grits I've ever had by far. 1. food came out cold, not even close to room temp 2. shrimp and grits were absolutely tasteless, no salt, pepper, cheese, or seasoning period 3. bacon was all fatty and chewy, no crisp yumminess 4. broth tasted like salt water 5. served with a piece of bread so small and mushy sitting on top of watery sauce. tasted like someone fished it out of the trash. 6. huge onion chunks thrown on top - I guess for some type of flavor..... Quite possibly the most terrible restaurant I've ever experienced.

Came here for early dinner Service was good the dessert took forever but was delicious. The steak salad was reasonably good--steak was cooked the way I wanted. I'd probably come back again if in town.

I was staying at the Hilton and they steered me here. I was very pleased with dinner. The service was very attentive from a pleasant young man. I had the cheese sticks, steak salad and a Bloody Mary. A great way to end the workday. The salad was very good, a little skimpy on the steak but it was cooked perfectly and very tasty. I will certainly return again on future business trips.

I've been here a couple of times, but it has been awhile. Went yesterday as part of a group of ten or so teacher's. The panko-crusted mozzarella sticks were hot and stringy and absolutely delicious!! I ordered the ribeye sandwich and fries and it was quite good. My sister let me have the rest of her bacon-cheddar-chicken sandwich--that was pretty good, too. And, my boss let me have one of her steak skewers (don't judge me-I was hungry!!!!) and they were probably my favorite. I loved them. I recommend this place without reservation. I've never had a bad meal here and the folks are pretty friendly, too.

Came here for my birthday dinner after visiting Elvis's birthplace. They said it would be one of the few places in town that would be open on a Sunday. It was very good. Was pleasantly surprised. I had the steak skewers and they were amazing. Then we had a couple of the desserts. The brownie was my birthday "cake" and it was so good. Definitely worth it!

We stopped in Tupelo on our way to Florida and I would do it again. I thought this restaurant was beautiful. Service was great. We started out with chips and cheese--pretty good. I had the cajan ribeye and it was very good. I sucked down a local craft beer and that was solid too. Everyone in our family liked the food.

All business travelers at the bar. Wide variety on the menu. I chose the filet with a baked potato. The quality of the meat was great for the price however the flavor was very bland. I never use steak sauce on my steak but I was tempted to request some just to add a hint of flavor note. Drinks all have a 2 oz poor which is nice. Draft beers on happy hour were only 2.50 for a tall beer. Which I felt was a great deal for a local steakhouse.

We had a great lunch. We came from Memphis and met others coming up from Meridian. We tried the spring roll appetizer, southwestern salad, tomato soup, fish tacos and crab cake. Everyone was happy. Service was great. A very nice place.

So glad we stopped to have lunch after seeing the statue of Elvis! Everyone was so friendly, all the recommendations were right on point. Mimosas and brunch on the patio, friendly conversation and Elvis music playing in the background. And the food was fantastic!! The snickers pie was absolutely perfect after walking around in the heat. Thank you to everyone who helped make our visit memorable!

Ok, I am seriously happy that this place is here. I visit my in laws here once or twice a year and normally there really is not much in the way of non-chain restaurants. I had no idea they have been here for 8 years. But anyway, the shrimp and grits were very good, with sautéed spinach and andouille sausage. They even removed the shrimp tails! My wife enjoyed her fettuccine Alfredo as well, only having to add a little salt. The draft Southern Pecan Ale also was very good. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING!! My 12 year old ordered the chef special of Pan Seared Wolfish. He wanted to meet and thank the chef, because it was so amazing. Even on a busy night, he took the time to come and meet him. By far our favorite place to eat!!!

Very nice and reasonably priced. My wife and I ate on the patio which was small but pleasant. We had our dog and it was not a problem. My wife had the soup and salad and I had the steak and shrimp. Everything was delicious and the service was great by both the management and wait staff. Thanks

Ended up here with friends after a trip to Tupelo July 4th weekend. The whole town was pretty much shut down but we were lucky enough to stumble onto this place. Very nice upscale looking with a nice bar area and a wall full of liquor not to mention the bloody mary bar. The food was very good and if given the chance we all would go back!!

We have reluctantly written it's place off. We used to look forward to the dinner but rapidly declining service has forced our hand. The last straw was a meal so bad we did not eat it. The waitress took it away, did not ask why it was not eaten and presented a full bill. When the manager wandered by, we pointed this out and she had no clue how to respond. How about removing it from the bill. So we have a waitress who doesn't have a grasp of the basics to a manager not cognitizent of service 101. And Applebee's level food.

If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and want something to eat or drink in Tupelo after dark, this is a solid non-fast food option. The bar here is not the place for elaborate specialty cocktails, but they can figure out how to make most things and they do have a reasonable selection of bottled beers and draught beers as well. The place is also clean, classy, and not unlike familiar places you would also find in larger cities. If you are staying in Tupelo, there may be older, better, or more original spots to try before this for lunch or early dinner, but if you need to eat at 9:00 p.m , this is as good of an option as any.

Really excellent. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Natchez. We both had a really good chicken salad (large chunks) on a bed of greens. The real treat was the berry cobbler, plenty for two to share, and the best I've ever had. Warm, and with vanilla ice cream and strawberries on the side. Make the stop, worth it. Great ambience as well. The service was very good too. Welcoming.

Awesome food - had the Cuban sandwich and Nola pasta. Fantastic so get it! ask for Terri Q as your waiters. Super friendly and ready to help.

I had dinner here during a business trip in Tupelo. As a northerner, I was a little nervous about trying the shrimp and grits (for some reason I thought I wouldn't like them). However, the dish tasted delicious! It was very flavorful.

Food could be good with seasoning. I mean there was nothing on the burgers steaks fries. Sadly at my seat I could see a whole case of lawrys seasoning salt in the kitchen. New manager should work on cleanliness. Table had ketchup on it when we arrived. Glasses had lipstick. Personally I think he could look a lot more professional. His servers were well groomed

Outstanding location. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service from a bright young, personable Ole Miss grad. The food choices were numerous. We had a flavorful pasta dish. My wife had a very good salad. Wine choices met our California heritage expectations. We will be back.

Our waitress, bless her heart, hopefully was new because she really knew very little about menu items and mispronounced two items in the nightly specials, and could not tell us which dressings were homemade. Overall I left full but a few minor infractions make this not so impressive in my book. We ordered spring rolls as our appetizer only to get chunky over cooked greasy egg rolls. The sauces were good and came in handy later in the meal. I ordered pecan crusted grouper with a balsamic reduction. I received panko crusted fish with 7 small broken pieces of candied pecans on top of a large 12 inch piece of fish doused in what tasted like maple syrup. In an attempt to salvage my meal, I tried the hot chili sauce from my egg roll appetizer. That gave it a little more depth to the flavoring. My loaded baked potato was good and my five pieces of asparagus were good. My husband's ribeye was on the small side but was cooked to order but his Parmesan fries had no visible Parmesan. Would I eat here again? Yes probably because Tupelo has limited local options available and very few standout from one another, but I am more likely to travel instead to Oxford when looking for a unique dining experience.

A wonderful and creative blend of food conveniently located next to the Hilton. You can't go wrong.

It's a nice enough restaurant. The atmosphere and presentation is definitely upscale and it's a nice place to bring a client, but I'd put the food on the level of a Chili's/Appleby's or similar establishment. They have a lot of gourmet-sounding items, but I"ve always found the food to taste a bit generic. Just my opinion. Portions are good, plates are pretty, food is average. Several mentioned their accessibility from the Hilton Garden Inn, but frankly I find the HGI's in-house restaurant comparable to the Grill. Easily seats large groups, very accessible to downtown event areas.

Walked over from the Hilton Garden Inn which shares the same parking lo.t I was greeted by a really nice hostess she took time to explain the restaurant, and give me her ideas on what her favorite meals are. After reviewing the menu I decided on a filet mignon. I enjoy my steak "walking rare" this 8 ounce filet came out perfect, the outside was properly seared the inside nice red and juicy. For my sides for asparagus and a Caesar salad the i had a Caesar salad was cold with the dressing was not overly done. The asparagus was steamed to perfection still crispy with lots of flavor overall I would have to say this was one of my best meals in quite a while while the place may be a little noisy for some I found the decor charming and staff was excellent.

I use to not like this place because the service sucked, but now I love it. The fried cheese and burboun street nachos are awesome apps. The fish tacos are my favorite meal. The service is very good these days and everyone seems very nice. I would recommend this especially if your staying next door to the Hilton Garden Inn, it's a short walk away.

This place was fantastic - food and service! We brought our college athletic team here while on a road trip and dined here for a team dinner. We always preorder and the staff was ready for us when we arrived with waters and salads. Our food was immediately brought out and to the correct person with no confusion. Kayla and Jordan and the manager were so attentive to our groups needs and making sure we had a great experience! Places like this make our trip memorable!

Excellent service. We enjoyed the cheese sticks and wings. Recommend the Philly cheese steak, goat cheese salad, chicken cordon blue. Stooped on our way home from New Orleans. Wish we lived closer so we could come back soon.

It is hard to make a restaurant judgement based just upon one visit, but my visit here was great. I walked over from the Hilton and sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and engaging since I don't eat seafood, she recommended the brisket sandwich. When the sandwich came, it was PERFECT. On a pretzel roll with coleslaw and queso on it. Tender and tasty. My friend that was with me had the seafood special and he loved it.

Every time I am in Tupelo, I eat at the Fairpark Grill. It is hard to eat healthy when traveling, but Fairpark Grill provides variety of items so if you want something healthy - the Grill is a good go to. I have eaten in the restaurant many times, but usually when traveling by myself I get takeout. The steak skewers appetizer and side wedge salad are my go to. It's always a tasty/ satisfying meal and reasonably priced (I like to treat business money like my money). The curb side pickup is super convenient. On this particular trip to Tupelo I at at Fairpark Grill two nights in a row. Yep, you guessed it the same meal both nights :). Staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Walkable to the Hilton Garden Inn, this is a plus. Staff is very friendly and the bartender (forgot his name but he could be one of the sons from Duck Dynasty) is excellent! My only deductions was the food. Everyone around the table agreed with the Eh! It's OK statement. Salads were rather limp, my fish sandwich was lukewarm with a "Where's the Fish" moment. With some food quality improvements the Grill would be a hit. Suggest some consulting from the Neon Pig owner in regard to this. I would give it yet another chance since the service was so good.

Visited as part of a large group. The service was more than adequate. I was impressed by the drink selection (compared to other restaurants in the area). The food was fresh and cooked well. The highlight of the meal was dessert; delicious berry cobbler!

Truly enjoyed my experience here . Props to the educated servers on the restaurants' dishes. the goat cheese salad was refreshing, delish, and also very appealing to the eye. We will be back our next trip for sure !

Not impressed at all. Service was courteous but slow. Food bland and just honestly not very good. Steak and shrimp not good. Chicken picatto not recommended. Bourbon nachos were a joke. A random combination of frozen products microwaved to create a rather untasty concoction.

Not what it used to be. Ate here for the first time in months. Terrible. Ordered the steak skewers and literally got 1 1/2 skewers on my plate. Got the philly cheese steak and they asked if I wanted cheese wiz as my cheese. They also do not offer garlic fries anymore. Poor service poor food. Also friend got the ribeye sandwich which was $11 and they didn't even give her the fries that came with it.

Not only was the food amazing and the service outstanding, but the chef was very accommodating by providing gluten free options for my wife who has celiac disease and can't eat anything with gluten. We will definitely be returning to Fairpark Grill!

  • Steve L.

The atmosphere is great, drinks great, and it's probably the nicest restaurant in Tupelo. Unfortunately food is really lousy - well below most chains like Chili's or Applebees - bad cuts of meat, nothing fresh, and everything very, very bland. Late at night might be the only decent option downtown, but during the day almost anything is better.

$6 martinis?? Yes, please! My cosmo was one of the best I've ever had (and I'm a cosmo snob) and about half of the usual cost--yet another reason I love Mississippi. This is a fantastic drink spot along the newly renovated Main St. Our server was wonderful and the music was all Ella, Louis, and Frank. Aces. My only complaint is that the entrance is in a really weird spot, where you have to walk into the patio on the side to find the door. P.S. Dear Bostic B., the Philly Cheesesteak says it uses cheese whiz on the menu, plus that's what a REAL Philly Cheesesteak is...Dude.

Passing through on the way to Graceland. This is a quality dinner stop. Really fast service and the bourbon street nachos are a crowd pleaser. If you're looking for a tasty, hearty meal, stop here

If you're in Tupelo for business, pleasure or just passing through, check this place out. We stopped by after a long day of driving the Natchez Trace. The staff totally made our day. Our order was simple: two salads, a beer and a coke. In spite of that, they treated us like rockstars. The menu is pretty interesting and covers all the bases at the same time (burgers, salads, steak and seafood entrees). The ambience is great, prices spot on ($6 martini list and $3.50 for draft beers) and there is plenty of room to park. The service is really what blew me away. As someone who made a living working in restaurants for almost 10 years I was amazed by how well the staff nailed the concept of hospitality. I can't remember a time I was treated so well by an entire staff. Very well done.

I come to Tupelo about 3 times a year for 5+ days at a time. I usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, so the Girll at Fairpark is a convenient location. Out of all the times I've eaten there, I've never had a bad meal! The salads are delicous (had the Southwestern Salad today!), their shrimp and grits are one of my favorites of all of the south (had that yesterday!) and all of their apps are to die for! Plus, they have a late night menu for long days. I haven't tried the deserts yet - but those look ravishing as well! Service has always been on par.

  • Donna R.

The restaurant has a classy look, the wait staff are friendly, and the food was good. Not great, but not bad. The Cuban Sandwich was a good sandwich, but not a good Cuban sandwich. The cheeseburger was good, but so big it was messy and hard to eat. Biggest complaint - the restaurant was fairly empty, but it was early so that wasn't the problem. However, everyone was seated far apart. We were all alone in a room-sized section. If we wanted to eat alone, we could have stayed in.

    (3)
  • Bostic B.

Got a ribeye this time around..I wasn't impressed. Harvey's is definitely a better place to dine, I even think Harvey's has better prices. Also, our waitress was a little unattentive, slow to refill, slow to bring the check...waited like 20 mins on the check before I had to go ask the hostess. I don't know, maybe it was just a bad night.

Had a nice time at the bar during my visit to Tupelo. I paid about the same for a crab/crawfish cake and cocktail as I'd pay for just one of those items in Boston. Excellent cake and okay salad but overdressed. The bartender did fairly well with my off the menu girly martini request. Very interesting menu and more casual than its sister restaurant at the end of the block.

The food was pretty good. Nice atmosphere. Justin, our server was very nice and knowledgable. I'm gonna try to steal him for my restaurant!

Great restaurant! They have a wide variety from seafood to steak to higher priced entrees to more moderate entrees of sandwiches and salads. We had a crab cake appetizer, which was really good. Not heavily fried. And it came with a really good small salad. I had the salmon entree, which I really enjoyed. It has a wasabi sauce on top that gives it a kick, so be wary if you don't like wasabi. Throughout the meal, we had great service! Would definitely go again when I'm going through Tupelo.

Came here for lunch/brunch on a Saturday. Excellent service and great food. The standouts were the Bloody Mary bar, the $2 mimosas and my extremely delicious shrimp 'n' grits. Glad we came here!

Wonderful service, yummy food. We had 5 kids with us & our server Mitchell did a wonderful job remembering everything they got & thought to be discreet even in asking me about whether or not they wanted dessert (which was FREE with the kids' meals.) Lovely, clean atmosphere too :)

Service is good, but this iteration of the "Grill" doesn't hold a candle to it's older sister in Columbus, MS. I've had a couple of dishes that the restaurant shares with it's Columbus counterpart, and Columbus does them many times better (particularly the creole pasta dish, in which Tupelo's is watered down Alfredo sauce in comparison). Overall, a real letdown, considering how amazing the franchise has demonstrated it can be. To be fair though, their bar area is very attractive and cosy. I walked from the convention center to have a beer with some friends once, and it was pleasant. What's more, the presentation of their food is very nice, although it seems a bit like they are trying too hard to be hip. The food isn't bad either, it is just really, REALLY bland; in my books, bland food is worse than food with off-flavors.

All around a good place to eat and have a drink in downtown Tupelo. For those of you who would complain about the cheez whiz on the philly cheesesteak, that's how they actually eat them in Philly. It's authentic. Go to Pat's, Geno's or anywhere else that's famous for a cheesesteak and you'll find this.

  • Clint M.

When you compare the Grill to other restaurants in Tupelo, it deserves at least 4 stars because it is one of the better places to eat in town. However, compared to everywhere, I'd say it's average to just slightly above average. The fact is, I've probably eaten here a dozen times and never had a bad meal. On the other hand, I've never had a really great meal. I give them a lot of credit for being consistanlty good but nothing jumps out at you as a must-have dish.

This is a great place. We live here and go there fairly often. They have great food and service. The Panko Crusted Fried Cheese is awesome. I suggest a combo of the pepper jack and mozzarella. The Baja Fish Tacos are great too. Smooth, cold Blue Moon on draft. The restaurant is in the heart of downtown and is a really fun place to dine. Enjoy!

Popular with locals. Excellent service. Excellent food well presented. Patio dining option. Full bar. Interesting and varied menu, modest prices. Manager came by for a brief chat. We would go there again.
