This is one of my favorite BBQ places. The meat ranges from very good to slightly fatty, portions are large and a nice smoke flavor. The sauces are fantastic. All their sides are great, from homemade potato chips to deep fried crusty onion rings. Great beans with a thick hickory sauce. Texas Toast cooked decently and full of butter every time. I've had almost everything on the menu, and none of it disagreed with me. Top it off with fair prices and friendly people. Hard to beat. Only downside to this location is that it's a little small and not much parking.
It's really good BBQ, at a decent price. I usually get the smoked chicken and I love their traditional BBQ sauce. Make sure you come early, because they always run out of banana pudding - ALWAYS.

FANTASTIC!!! Being from Texas I have specific BBQ tastes and this place was amazing! My kids each got a pulled pork dog, basically it is pulled pork in a hotdog bun. They each got to choose one side and a drink and it was like $4 each. WAY CHEAP for the portion sizes! My husband and I shared the sampler platter and it came with ribs, brisket, pulled pork and smoked chicken. The amount of food was plentiful and we ended up taking half of it home and the 5 of us ate it for supper that night. The platter also came with a choice of 4 sides, we got the cole slaw (awesome), mac and cheese (great), beans (awesome) and green beans (pretty good). The sweet tea was really good! We couldn't have been happier with this place! They also sell their own BBQ sauce and we picked up some of that to bring home, it made the trip safely and has been used a couple of times already! So happy we gave this place a shot and everyone that works here was very friendly and helpful!
I was in Tupelo on business and looking for a great lunch place. I am always looking for great BBQ so I thought that I would give Bishop's a shot. I was very pleased with everything that I had. They had great pork, a sweet sauce (a requirement by me for good BBQ) and very good mac and cheese. I thought the baked beans were just ok...but there are plenty of other sides to try the next time.
Nice people (very nice) A ton of food onion rings are great I'm a fan... Chicken breast is on the bone but good enjoy.

Ever since we saw "Restaurant Impossible" we've wanted to eat here. Well, tonight was our first opportunity and we are really glad we showed up. The ambience was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter, Cody, was so attentive and did a great job. The food was phenomenal! Our steaks were so tender, juicy and flavorful, you could cut them with a fork. I would definitely return to Woody's!
The food was great. Wasn't in the mood for steal but the Shrimp and Crawfish Po' Boy was great. The Crawfish poppers were delicious.
Great restaurant...just a few blocks from the Holiday inn where we were staying. Husband had petite filet which was great...I had fried shrimp which was wonderful....even though we were stuffed we had the bananas foster, which is prepared table side.....WOW..we ate every single bite! All the staff is wonderful and even if they are not your waitperson.....they stop by and make sure you are happy with meal and if you need anything. Just wish it were closer to home...we would be going at least once a week!

Another southern road trip experience. Blueberry donuts tasted more like blueberry muffins that had been deep fried. Fried chicken, biscuits and gravy were great.
I figured a place with fried chicken in the title has to be great.....this place was not very good. After my co-worker and I left....I told him that was the most ordinary meal I've every had. Everything was extremely bland.
Best damn fried chicken! They accept Visa and MasterCard They serve breakfast and early dinner Close around 5/6pm CST Blueberry donuts are damn delicious and sell them by the dozen!!

Very good pizza & food. We had the Otis and another kind of pizza, 3 flavors of wings, garlic cheese bread, and Fried ravioli. Loved it all. Everything tasted very good. The food came out really fast and was all prepared as requested.
Stopped in while on family vacation. Ordered a pepperoni, a meat lovers, a buffalo chicken and a spaghetti and meatballs. All of the food arrived quickly and as ordered. Buffalo and meat lovers were really good!! Price was not bad for the amount of food we got. Clean too! Glad we stopped here.
Everytime I've been here it's been great. I think the original in Indianola is the best. It's something in the delta water that the MS hills can't match. My favs: El Diablo and Pit Boss. The wife like the Hawaiian and Lucille. All specialties are great though.

Awesome food, great service& great atmosphere! Owner Micah waited on me last time himself and was very helpful with suggestions, and this time with Adam was no different, offering suggestion of the Shrimp Platter blackened....it's fantastic! Of course, you NEVER want to forget the Chocolate Bread Pudding!
My wife and I stopped in here on our way to Canton, MS. We had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese, Pork Barbeque Sliders and Poutine. It was all excellent and were quite happy to find a little gem like this. Very satisfied.
Just traveling through and stopped for dinner. I had the smoked chicken penne pasta, wife had the truffle mac and cheese with a spinach salad. Very tasty! Was a fun, friendly atmosphere with good service. Having the chocolate breading pudding for dessert. We will be back.

The food here is just a little bit superior to the Mexican food you can get all over town, but the service is usually wonderful! It's our home away from home and the drinks are pretty good. Alambres are great and the Enchiladas Rancheras are also pretty awesome. The roast pork on top is pretty darn good.
Friendly and efficient staff eager to make our visit as pleasant as possible. The homemade salsa was perfectly seasoned. ..not too spicy and not too mild. The chicken chimichanga was a great lunch choice. Great experience all the way around.

Went back today at lunch with my best friend. I had the salmon salad and she ordered the swordfish tacos with fries. They were out of tortillas so it came as a swordfish salad. She was fine with that and both meals were delicious. They waiter forgot her fries, but when we informed him, he brought them up right away. They were also excellent! We both ate healthy and well! I can't say enough about how great KOK is, this is becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Tupelo.
The ambiance was very nice and the wait staff were friendly. The owners took great care of their customers and it was obvious they bought locally. Our waiter was knowledgeable, very polite and made recommendations when asked. Very over priced and the reason for the two stars was we were not pleased with the steaks. My wife and I enjoyed the "cheese" plate but her steak and my bison left a lot to be desired for the price paid. Vegetables were cold off the grill. I did like the eclectic choice of foods but it was hard to tell exactly what KOK was or is trying to be. I would try them again just to see if other dishes are better like the fish but I would not go out of my way to do so. The Outback Steakhouse serves better steaks for more reasonable prices.
What an unreal place. I am overwhelmed with the flavors, the presentation and the service. SU-Perb
