I travel to Tupelo for business often and always make sure I stop here for lunch while I'm in town. The lunch dishes haven't let me down yet and I leave comfortably full with food still on my plate. Everything tastes fresh and is prepared in a timely manner. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is very attentive. I've yet to try the buffet, but I'm sure it's delicious too. If you want a great Mexican meal for $6-$10 on your lunch break stop here.

Great Mexican food with a great atmosphere. I often order for pickup and everything is always ready on time and cooked to perfection. The one on Main St is better than the others. I do wish they had a full bar with TVs and such. I like to watch the game while eating fresh chips and salsa.

I'm a Tupelo native and I've driven past this place a million times, under the impression that it was just like other Mexican restaurants I had been to. That was, until my mom told they had a buffet. Hol' up? A buffet? What could they possibly have?! So, I went and checked it out and it was amazing!! They have so many options and all of the items are pretty delicious and taste, especially for buffet standards. I can't wait to come back!

In from out town on Cinqo de mayo and looked on yelp for best restaurant. The food was very bland and not very good. Our server was good and our margiritas were good but food was not tasty.

I'm a lcoal and I love this place. It's cheap, cheesy (literally & figuratively) Mexican food. If that's what you're after, you'll find it here. Drink specials every night, just ask.

I was in Tupelo for a short time recently and stopped in here to eat some Mexican food. It was a really neat looking restaurant. The atmosphere was great and I could order BEER which made me an instant fan. You could also order Margarita's! The service was fantastic as well. The food wasn't bad, it wasn't as spicy as i would have prefered, but it was ok. I won't complain. I can't imagine that I will be going through anytime soon again, so I really can't give a fair review of the place. It was totally packed out with people and they just kept coming the whole time we were there,so I would have to say that it's a pretty good sign that most everyone likes it alot. I would go again if I were passing through.

Pretty decent food. I had the chimichanga with a side of guacamole. It was pretty average. The chips and salsa were AWESOME! I heard they have a buffet for lunch but we had just missed it.

The food here at D'Casa is solid. The sides are nothing special, but it's all edible. The real stars here are the drinks. Mango margaritas are really good, but the Mexican Flag Margarita steals the show. I'm still not positive what it is but it appears to be a layer of straight midori on the bottom for green, some strawberry daquiri in the middle for red, and pina colada on the top for the white. No matter what it is, it's pure magic! The wait staff are always very nice and friendly too. If the food were as good as the drinks it would easily be 5 star.

The buffet is awesome! Sweet tea and soda in a frosty mug too! Will definitely go there again!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
