We were exploring Tunica and happened upon this little gem, so we decided to pop in for some snacking and drinks. The margaritas were a little on the weak side. It took about 3 margaritas to match what I usually experience after 1. They tasted alright though... good enough to put 3 of them down, but nothing more special than OK. My group shared chips with a few different dips. The chips were perfect, nice and warm and crispy. The guacamole, Mexican dip (white cheese with pico de gallo), choriqueso (white sauce with Mexican sausage) all really hit the spot!! The service was great: fast and friendly! I actually enjoyed my time and the food here more than one of the fancy steakhouses at the casino. Our server even gave us directions to another little local hole in the wall bar to go play some darts.
Being from Vegas and this place in the middle of nowhere, good job. I enjoyed myself along with a few friends so much we had to come back again. All the servers were very professional and clean. The only thing i can say about the manager is to smile, everything else is great in this restaurant. The furnishing and ambiance of the place as authentic as you can get out here. Loved the food and definitely worth the prices! The chips are homemade as you can tell when they come out steaming. Unlike other Mexican spots, their chips are really thin flaky and crisp in the perfect way (ate a whole basket myself). Make sure you get Steak de Camarones or anything from their Favorites page. And if you're up for it, get a real Shrimp Ceviche in a huge tub'like wine glass! They looked at me like they've never seen a Yelper before when i asked for the free margarita with check-in. Only 4 reviews so ehh i cant blame 'em. They didn't hold back on the good stuff either. If you're into beer, try Carta Blanca which is usually not served in many Latin restaurants. Live Latin band is occasional and random says the manager, so hopefully someone else can review on how that goes.
What a great place! They make anything on the menu the way you want it with the ingredients you want! I live in Chicago where there are some great Mexican restaurants and some pretty bad ones. This place could compete with the best. If looking for something different than casino food, check-out Mexico Grill! Their grilled jalapeños make any meal.

It is So Nice to have a real gourmet restaurant inside the city limits of Tunica, before Cafe Marie you would have to drive to one of the Casinos for a gourmet meal. Please don't ever leave Tunica Marie!
I dare you to find a sweeter group of people in Mississippi. We had cold beers, great gourmet food, and the best easy conversations with this lovely family that owns the place. Very cute and a hotel upstairs to boot. If you are in Tunica, go here!
Not quite as good as I remembered. Everything was a bit bland. Otherwise it was nice and quiet with decent atmosphere.

Quick stop. Located in Tunica about an hour south of Memphis, some yummy pizza awaits... (yes I said an hour). If headed northbound, dont miss the turn like we did or you will be flipping a 'itch a mile later! Lol The only pizza in the area if you're feeling for it. A few tapped brews are offered. Live music occasionally (country music fyi), just ask ahead of time if you are a regular. I was actually amazed with their sliced sausage used on my pizza. It made the whole pie taste amazing! Highly recommended. (see picture) Make sure you sign the wall if you are just passing by! If you see a red horse on top of an emergency lamp, that's ours lol.
Out of Business. The phone has a recorder message that never returns calls Have driven there twice but it's closed. I assume for good. Don't waist your time.
Great pizza in the middle of no where. I travel a lot and like to try local place. If you are looking for great pizza and a good beer its a good place to stop. We had the rancho pizza with the best garlic sauce we have had in a Long time.
