Really great food. Had tuna carpaccio for appetizer. It was a huge plate full with a nice salad and waffle potato chips on top. Shared a huge porterhouse. They even bagged the bone for us to bring home for our dogsAdded a lobster tail which turned out to be the same lobster size as the entree lobster which is the full size 16 oz African lobster tail. It is listed at Market price. Be prepared to pay a lot for it. The day we went market price was 55.00 don't get me wrong it was humongous and delicious but as an add on it was super expensive. It was cooked perfectly. . Had a twice baked potato (good), mushrooms (really good) and creamed spinach ( amazing) . Then bananas foster flambéed table side. It was delicious. I've never had bananas foster before so I don't know the usual recipe but I thought it could use some crunch. It was a great show though. The whole dinning room watched. I heard several people already eating dessert saying they wished they had ordered it. Over all it was a great time but very pricey. Our waiter was great sorry I don't know his name.
I truly love this place. It was quite good before the big renovation in early 2014, but now it is simply outstanding. Into 2015 they continue develop their excellent offerings and exploring dynamic dishes across the menu with attention to quality and detail, right down to developing relationships with quality suppliers of meats and vegetables, locally grown and quality controlled under the scrutiny of the chefs and management. It's no accident that the food arriving at the table takes you to a place and time where you know the great care and precision was given in the entire process to provide you with a truly fine dining experience, one that you will remember and be anxious to experience time and again. I would be remiss if I did not recommend one dish in particular for meat fanciers, and that is the exquisite bone in ribeye, in my opinion the finest steak I have had, including some amazing choices from Omaha and Texas that I had been delighted to put on my list plod personal favorites.
Really enjoyed dinner here the other night! Nice ambience - little haven away from the chaos of the casino. :) Service was very good - attentive without being overbearing. Bread they brought out was AWESOME! The raisin bread was my fave - had to request another couple of slices, which they obligingly brought out. There was a small amuse bouche, chicken on polenta. It was a nice thought, but would have been better hot. Got the feeling they were made much earlier and they refrigerated. Not bad, though. I started with the scallop app...YUM! But be aware it is a TINY portion - three small scallops in a creamy sauce. I was hoping to order the osso bucco, but sadly it is no longer on the menu. I went with the veal chop instead, and enhanced it with a side of fois gras and mashed potatoes. The fois gras was tasty, mashed potatoes creamy heaven, but the veal was just so-so. Under-seasoned and slightly underdone, it came out without the carrot puree that was listed on the menu. The waiter brought some out, and it really upped the flavor in the dish. More of a sauce than a puree, it was super-yummy! My date had the filet special, served with a mushroom sauce over a bed of risotto. I had a bite and it was really good, with a hint of smokiness coming from the sauce or the risotto. Overall, very good. I've only ever been to one other fine-dining establishment in the casinos, and Chicago Steakhouse was a much better experience. The table next to ours ordered a bunch of surf and turf, with huge crab legs and some awesome looking lobster. Next time, that will be what I order!

Hollywood Café

Reviews:
This is a place that takes you back to the way restaurants in the Delta used to be. Tunica County is all grown up now with casinos and tourists but the Hollywood stays true to its original vision. It's a relatively small one-room general store type of building serving mostly fried everything. Fried pickles may have finally caught on nationally and they are still here in their original form but fried frog legs show that its not a popularity contest and it is just the Mississippi Delta as it always has been.
We decided to try here on the 4th of July before we went to watch the Fireworks at Fitzgerald's casino. It was a nice change from the so-so casino buffets in Tunica. This is a true southern place with great service. We got their early and they weren't busy, but they started to fill up by the time we left. Since this place touts itself as being the creator of the Fried Pickle, I of course had to try them as an appetizer. They were really good but I noticed as I got down towards the bottom they were a tad bit too greasy. Then I ordered the fried catfish which came with hush puppies and french fries and coleslaw (which my husband ate and said was pretty good). The fried catfish was excellent, but not work the expensive price.
Good old southern food. This place is a good place to experience southern food. You do pay fairly high for southern food in this place. I wish they are more affordable as that makes this place much more desirable. As it stands, a food place to go if you're in Tunica and do not want to spend money in not so wonderful buffets.

Frank's is a fun place to go. The service- they are entertaining as well as accommodating. The food is good and priced as you'd expect. Even the casino workers go there after work! Open very late with 3 pool tables, 2 dart boards, 1 fuse ball table, a big hunt and golf game. I even found Ms Pacman!!! I heard there's entertainment on the weekends too.
I had heard this place was great. I am reviewing the food not the place in general. The food is very overpriced and not tasty at all. For example one of our orders was for a $14 pizza - We received what looked like a pizza with a Tortilla shell crust (burnt) with pizza toppings on it. I could have made this at home and will next time for a little over $1.00. Our other orders sounded good on the menu but did not impress.

Village Square Buffet

Horseshoe Tunica Resort & Casino,1021 Casino Center Drive
Robinsonville, 38664
Reviews:
You know what? This buffet is much better than the buffets you will find in Vegas. I should know... I've eaten at 10 Vegas buffets. The Village Square Buffet is located inside the Horseshoe Casino. It's not the only dining option in the casino, but it's my favorite. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. I even prefer Village Square to Jack Benion's Steakhouse unless I'm feeling the need for white table cloths and a giant steak. But they have steak on the Buffet too. Maybe not the best cuts or the highest quality, but it's there. I'd pass on the steak though and get some pulled pork, roast beef, or baked chicken. Hell, get it all! Why not... it's a buffet! Themed stations offer a mind-boggling array of choices. How does one chose between Italian, Mexican, Asian, or American? I have no idea. Throw in a salad bar with soup and peel and eat shrimp and you're in for a real challenge! Just do what I do and get a little bit of everything. Try to save room for desert... I dare you! Extra info: Additional seafood on Fridays. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Went here for lunch on Monday - thankfully for free. It is 1 of the better buffets in Tunica. They had just opened for the day and we encountered a few plates that were dirty in the stacks of clean plates. Asian bar had food that felt Asian authentic - especially the egg rolls and pork buns (in dim sum). Fried chicken was hot and good as well. Sausage had good kick and flavor - definitely should try. Desserts were average and made it bulk so no great quest to impress in this area.
I liked it! Granted, I was there on a Thursday evening, and it was not busy at all, but the seating was fast, the service was friendly and efficient, and the staff kept the buffet lines clean and fresh. Nearly all the food was well seasoned and not bland (like some buffets). I enjoyed all the selections that I made. Here are some highlights for me: - stir-fried green beans with garlic and the beef and mushrooms from the Asian area - choice of classic boiled shrimp or spicy boiled shrimp at the salad area - fried catfish with cornmeal in the breading - sinful pulled pork - lots of Southernn-style side dishes in both the home-cooking and the barbeque sections - wide selection of desserts, including Southern-style cookies and desserts (there were some praline-cookie bars that were amazing) - iced tea... perfectly brewed. I didn't even sample anything from the Mexican section or the Italian section... there were some pizza and pasta dishes that looked very tempting. It could be challenging to keep your gluttonly under control at this buffet.

8oz Burger Bar

It's a good place to eat, for what is around it!!! But with that being said, the staff is rude as hell!! They are talking about the people that order 3 before you or talking about you with you standing right there! I don't know how they stay busy! If harrah's casino was ran like this burger place is..... I can see why they shut down! And won't be surprised when they do!
You have your fast food burgers like McDonald's, BK, and Wendy's. Then you have Five Guys, Fudruckers, and Smash burger. Then the gourmet kind like Flip Burger. 8oz Burger Bar falls in the medium category with five guys. The first thing I noticed was the price. It is a bit on the high side since the $7-8 price is just for the burger. Adding fries will cost you $3 additional putting you easily between $10-17 for a combo meal depending on the burger you order. The basic 1/2lb burger is $8 and there are a few choices of 1/3 lbs burger for $7. Sadly, this is one of the cheapest options in eating when you are at Horseshoe. The next thing that stands out is the bun. The buns are awesome. Nice soft and huge. Very light and does not take away or soak up any of the flavors in between the buns. Definitely a highlight. Had it twice and both times asked for medium but came out to medium well. I guess it really depends on the cook that is grilling (you can see them grill as you wait). Overall, it's pretty tasty and a good break from eating at the buffet. Definitely try it if you haven't yet.
Not sure why they asked us how we wanted our burgers cook becuase unless you said raw, this thin patty will be well done. Melrose burger had cold out of the can mushrooms and our fries had breading pieces from chicken tenders or something. Chocolate malt was good so i gave two stars

Smokey Joe's Cafe, located on the second floor of Sam's Town Casino, has a wide variety of affordable options for dining when visiting the casino. The entrée list includes the standard beef and turkey pub burgers($6-8), buckets of crab legs ($16 that looked delicious), house salad ($3), and famous slow cooked beef brisket or pulled pork sandwiches($8). The pulled pork sandwich was smooth, tender, and savory on a whole wheat bun. The portion was large and came with crispy sweet potato fries, creamy slaw and home style baked beans. A house salad was also ordered with Honey Mustard dressing on the side. To finish it off, a tall glass of sweet tea helped wash all of it down!

Waffle House

Reviews:
Waffle House Waffle House is just good. Breakfast anytime! It may be a chain, but they definitely cook it in front of you. It's a good place after the club or the bar. This time we went after a trip to Tunica. Everything is cooked to order. I like to get the all star special. It has such a variety. I added a side of gravy and made a sausage biscuit. The biscuits are just ok, but the meat and gravy are good. One of my friends wanted ham and sausage. Waffle House will let you customize your meal 100%. Gotta have some coffee with that meal. Decaf at night. You can't go to there and not have a waffle. The hashbrowns are one of the most fun things. They have like 10 ingredients that you can add. I got mine with everything except chili. Waffle House just hits the spot sometimes. Go to your local Waffle House!
As this waffle house was near the casinos, I am sure they get a lot of inebriated individuals in here on a regular basis. However, that does not excuse the quality of the food. The patty melt I had seemed to have been cooked hours earlier and was just sitting on the grill waiting for someone to order it. The patty was EXTREMELY dry and over cooked. I asked for the has browns to be crispy but they were done as usual instead. The waitress however, Net, was extremely nice and did an outstanding job. I hope this patty melt was not indicative of there normal food.
What's yellow, smelly, and a questionable dining option? You got it. Waffle House, of Robinsonville, Mississippi. We are all aware that Waffle Houses are not 5 star dining by any means, but after a long night, they do the job. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, Texas toast sandwiches...all those late night greasy options that for some reason you think will be a great idea to eat until the following day. As soon as we walked into this particular location, I was instantly regretting our decision. The way we were gawked at, you would think the Waffle House patrons had never seen four girls walk in for some eggs at midnight. Back off, I'm hungry! As we unsurely proceeded towards a booth, an unpleasant smell filled my nostrils. I didn't smell bacon grease and syrup like I had hoped. It simply smelled dirty. As we sat, and took a scan of the restaurant, debating whether to stay or go, we noticed three employees seated at the bar, puffing their cigarettes. I guess smoke breaks are taken inside with the customers in between orders. Yuck. It was time to decide how hungry we were and what else would be open at this late hour. Well, we were pretty frickin' hungry and didn't have any other options besides drive-thru fast food, which now doesn't seem like a bad option. Our particular sever was sweet, and our biscuits were soft as can be, but those two things alone can't bring a girl back. This Waffle House needs a scrub down before I'd be back for some late night biscuits and eggs.
