Not the biggest fan of burgers, but we walked into this location on a Saturday, when we couldn't decide on something else. I've had 5 guys before at other locations and was underwhelmed. We placed our classic burger and Cajun fries order, and received it within 10 minutes. Pretty quick turn around. I will say the fries were absolutely addicting. The burger was cooked well done, and had all the toppings I ordered (mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, onions). I had no complaints when I bit into it. It tasted fresh and the ingredients were not soggy nor weighed down. The fries were well seasoned with the Cajun topping and we got plenty to share with a large order. I was impressed with the quickness and over all tastiness of the burger. Who knew something so fast could taste so good! If it wasn't for me being more health conscious (not on this day), I would frequent this location more often. Absolutely loved my burger and my fries. Also they have the new coke machines with a wide variety of drink selections, which I am always esthetic to see!

This is the best hamburger and fries in the area. You will definitely not leave hungry, you can eat as many peanuts as you can hold. The only thing I would change is turn up the thermostat and turn down the music. ;-)

Im pretty impartial when it comes to burger joints but I do like this place. The beef tastes fresh and the size is huge. The price is a little above average so I tend not to order fries. But, the burgers will fill you up just fine.

Great service & EXCEPTIONAL burgers!! The hot dogs aren't the typical "Bryan's", they are Sooooo MUCH Better!! I Love the fact I can Order & pay on my app & schedule my arrival time. The best is going Straight to hear of line! They wait until your arrival to prepare the fries, so they are Fresh Everytime!! The Small fries are Really an LARGE! They give you So Many fries (Cajun are Killer!)

Five Guys is great! You get a good burger with as many toppings as you can handle, a boat-load of french fries at a great price. Notes: ladies, order the "little" burger. This is a one patty, regular sized hamburgers. Their "hamburger" is two meat patties and is just too much for me with all the fries. Speaking of fries, the small is plenty for one person - and the medium is perfect to split between 2 people.

When it's time for a simple burger and fries, this is your spot. Completely no frills with a basic menu. With that comes burgers and fries that, in my opinion, are some of the best around. You can go with basic garnishment or get a little crazy with some that have a little kick. I had a double cheese bacon burger with sautéed mushrooms, a few grilled onions and mayo. Cooked medium well and there was care to make it balanced with the toppings. Sometimes I'll end up with a soupy mess, but not here. I'm sure maybe a better burger in Jackson, but for my money I'll find a consistently good one here.

The only thing here worth getting is the hot dog. It is split and cooked on a flat grill. Kind of like a fried balogna. Other than that, it is just a cheap place for broke kids and parents on a budget to eat. I don't buy all the self advertising. Not a good burger. The fries are hand cut but not anything to brag about. Sorry folks; there are several places around to get a good burger but this isn't one of them

Ok...I am here at 2pm. This place is dirty. Food all over the floor. The work area of the fries has cooked fries everywhere. I must say the burger was good and correct to my order. BUT it is so dirty I ate outside.

I went to five guys when they first opened and its a nice lil hang out. The things I like about Five Guys, they give good service and its a clean location. However, they don't season the burger patties and its missing that umph! McDonalds has its distinct flavor, Burger King has a distinct flavor, What-a-burger has a distinct flavor, Rally's has a distinct flavor, Wendy's has a distinct flavor - all the aforementioned chains have something that makes you say, "Oh - yeah, let me get a such and such from so and so" They just don't give me that "wow" feeling. They are reasonable on prices and their portions are good, just wish they excited my taste buds a lil' more.

I adore these burgers! The fries are okay. I could eat the burgers once a week. I like that I am able to watch the cooks make my food. And most of all they cook their food in peanut oil! I love it!

There's nothing little about their little burger! Damn thing seems like 1 1/2 pounds . Glad I ordered a "little" burger. Helluva burger for being a chain. Fast and friendly staff, I even fist bump the cashier on mistake!! I've been to all kinds of places for burgers wether dives, fancy, even paid for a $25 burger, but it doesn't beat these guys, for them cooking the meat well done, it actually taste better ! Well seasoned and quick, go now u won't be dissapointed , if somehow u are, go home and bitch about how u hated the best fast burger u had to ur momma,

I have now made one visit to a FGBF restaurant, so I cannot say to what extent my experience here is typical. Basically, the place favors the simple, stripped down, casual feel. You order your food and wait with a crowd (if it is busy like it was during my visit) while the "five guys" in the kitchen cook and dispense orders by number. The whole process is unceremonious, but effective. The food itself is delicious, if artery-clogging. Bu it's exactly what's advertised (with a generous array of possible burger modifications at your disposal)..,no more, no less. I'm not a fan of the singing cooks and rowdy, crowded atmosphere. But that seems like it's part of the restaurant's schtick, so you may like it. They boast a good burger and they deliver, with buckets-full of fries on the side. A week or more straight of this fare, and you can ask - "Type 2 diabetes, anyone?" In short, FGBF does its thing well (even if it pushes the expense envelope just slightly), but I'll keep my future visits very occasional, both for the sake of my health and for the sake of my patience.

Good burgers and way more fries than you can ever eat.

This is a place where you get your money's worth. The burgers are delicious and juicy. I always get the Little Bacon Cheeseburger. The Bacon Cheeseburger is so huge that I cant finish it. The small order of fries is like a large order of fries. They fill the cup up with fries and its is a bag. When you get the bag there are just as many fries (if not more) in the bottom of the bag. A small order of fries can easily feed 3 people. Be sure to get the seasoned fries! They are awesome!

They do things well enough here. The burgers are better than a typical fast food burger, but with all the great burger places in Jackson, I can't say they are that special. I will say that the staff is friendly, seeing the clean cook area, and getting multiple toppings are nice touches. Having a nice stash of peanuts to occupy you while you wait, which can be a little while if you manage to hit a rush, is very handy. The Cajun seasoning on the fries (if you opt for it) has a good flavor. I recommend eating here, vs taking it home. I find that the fries end up pretty soggy by the time you get a few miles down the road.

Good food, traditional fare with a very limited menu. Burgers, hot dogs, fries and drinks. Wear a jacket as they keep it kind of cool in there. You can also help yourself to parched, salted peanuts while you wait for your food. Oh yeah, take it from me, the small burger is quite large and plenty for an average person. And get the small order of fries. They fill a cup and then they pour a bunch more into the bag so you end up getting about two orders for the price of one.

I love Cool Al's and Burgers and Blues to death, and I'll always recommend the local favorites over a chain. But Five Guys' is still best overall burger for taste & price in the area. It's that good

This is probably as good as it gets in Mississippi as far as burgers go.

I had heard a lot of good things about Five Guys, so when I found one at the Renaissance center in Ridgeland I had to try it. I was not disappointed. You definitely get your money's worth here. My burger was big and juicy and cooked to perfection. Lots of toppings to choose from, including mushrooms, grilled onions, jalapenos, and more. The only thing I'd warn about is that unless you are really hungry you should go with a "little" hamburger or cheeseburger, which is one patty, since the regular burger is actually a double hamburger and is quite huge. (It would make more sense to call it a regular hamburger and a double hamburger, if you ask me.) The fries are pretty good, too; I love hand-cut fries with the skin on. My only complaint about the fries is that they weren't quite as crisp as I like them. You can get them plain or with cajun seasoning, and a small order is enough for two or three people. This is the closest Five Guys location to where I live in West Monroe, LA, but thankfully West Monroe is getting one soon so I'm really excited!
