I thought the food was pretty good. You could really get any one of the dishes and split it, which would make a lot more sense for the prices they are charging. The service was OK, but I definitely ended up with an empty cup that sat there, sad because it was sorely lacking coffee, for quite some time (twice). I won't say we won't go back because the selection of omelets is pretty nice (and they are good), but we would probably split a plate this time.

Would be five stars but for the very average potatoes. Sat outside on a beautiful Saturday morning. Great service and food was excellent. Will definitely return.

Hmmm, I'm torn by this place. It's not horrible, but it wasn't mind blowing good. Follow me... The Good - Whatever they do to their pancakes, keep it up. it's like butter is melted inside the pancakes. I really enjoyed my little cousins food. Don't judge. He didn't want it, and there was a reason I ate it. Keep going... I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict. This had 2 kinds of onions on, capers, salmon, poached egg over the English muffin with a THIN layer of cream cheese Good enough. However, what's missing from this dish?? NO SAUCE CAME WITH IT.... Which brings me to.... The Bad- My Benedict didn't automatically come with sauce. So, they bring me this plate of a DRY English Muffin with the above. I ordered a side of hollandaise and it comes out. Immediately, I ask our Awesome server, "is this from a package". He says no. However, being the foodie that I am, I KNOW this wasn't really hollandaise. It was separating and looks like it originated from a powder. Furthermore, after sticking my fork in the "sauce" and tasting it, I determined my original assessment was quite accurate. It was pretty nasty. As a result, I wasn't happy with my food because I didn't get that savory flavor I was desiring. This place is OVER PRICED! For the food i ordered and it came with a side of potatoes, it was 15.00 BUCKS! I'm sorry, but for that food and the quality of it, I just don't think this is acceptable. The service was really good. The place is cute. But, I was by no means happy I spent part of my vacation in this place.

Awesome! Great friendly service. Short wait time despite being busy on a Sunday. Great food! Good coffee. Generous drinks! Mimosa is awesome. Bloody Mary's looked delish! Very clean. No complaints.

Over-priced, average food with poor, under-trained service. A good idea with execution that does not match its price and location.

Have eaten here three times and yummy! Delicious brunch. Omelettes are outstanding and cooked perfect. Wait staff very good. I also had gluten-free waffles with pure maple syrup. Good allergen friendly.

Great food. My daughter and I went on July 3 for brunch. It was very busy and we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. Then, no one greeted us or took our drink order. The bartender ended up picking up our table and he had too much on his plate. However, he was polite and the hearty food chosen from a large menu with many options earned this place 4 stars from me. The pancakes are huge. My potato, asparagus, shrimp dish was great. The rasberry tea doesn't need sugar. We will be back.

It's a Broken Egg and for me the worst service I have experienced in a long time. I had about 55 minutes to have breakfast and make it to a meeting. I ended up having to leave most of it behind after an exquisite round of discussions about where my order was with servers awkwardly blaming each other. And the food was expensive and average. Back to Broadstreet.

This place is delicious! I got the crabcakes cavallos with the country potatoes, and the eggs are poached perfectly, so much so, that they almost look like whip cream on top of the crabcakes. It's is a little pricey, but when you are getting steak, salmon, and crabcakes for breakfast you have to expect the price tag. The atmosphere is quaint and they are open from 7-2. They also serve alcohol in the mornings, so drink up! I will definitely be back, but only to treat myself because it's expensive. Overall great place with excellent food!

The finest breakfast experience in the metro area. ABE has a full range menu with omelettes and Benedicts, as well as pancakes and waffles. The food is delicious, consistent, and the ingredients are superb. Their Eggs Benedict is the best that I have ever had! A unique offering not to be missed is the sweet potato pancake. It fills your plate with sweet and spicy comfort food goodness. It is topped with candied pecans for a spicy crunch. Wow! Even more remarkable is the waitstaff. Somehow ABE attracts the nicest staff in town, regardless of price point. Jerry, Neil, Keith, and the rest of the crew are the kind of truly good human beings who you want to know. They are key reasons that my wife and I are regulars. On weekends there is sometimes a wait. This speaks to the consistency and quality of the food and experience.

Stopped by at the recommendation of a friend and I should have looked at the reviews first. This place is really overprice for what you get especially including the service. I ordered a drink and when I got it, it wasn't the best so I send it back. What a mistake because I never got another one. Lol! Guess it is impossible to mess something up that you don't get. The food was pretty good and don't drink the water because it was really bad.

Backstory: I would give them more stars if I could. The new Memphis location on Park is scheduled to open by March. Very nice decor - upscale done right and way above Panera's. Think Palo Alto modern where they were based before opening a corporate office downtown Memphis. Food was excellent and we ordered everything from scrumptious beignets with marmalade to several breakfast specials including blackberry pancakes. The coffee was served in custom glazed mugs which I wanted even though I don't and never will drink coffee. Our server was Mac who should be a manager - he is great! If we didn't need to get back with an Oxford detour would be there still. Who gets up at 5 am for a 196 mile one way trip for breakfast? Foodies!

Starting with the positive: I had the black bean Bennie and it was, really good. And now for the rest. I didn't initially get what I ordered and our coffee was served cold. My partner's plate was pretty standard diner breakfast food and was overpriced. My gripe: I think it's overpriced. His gripe: he thinks someone should've tried to apologize or compensate for the bad service. We both worked extensively in the food service industry and understand that bad days happen. But we left unsatisfied and it didn't have to be that way. But, like I said, when the black bean burger Benedict finally came out, it was really good.

Great food and service! Came in from Chicago and came here for brunch on Saturday morning. 20 minute wait for a great meal! Menu has a vast variety of choices! Try the Floridian can't go wrong!!

They should learn how to cook eggs. I told waiter cook well done & they could even be char broiled. Runny eggs brought out. I asked him to return & cook them. They were once again brought out runny. By then I had finished my bacon, potato, & English muffin. In addition, service was horrible. Trying to get waiter. Then when he brought bill. I waited on my change. He brought the bills but not the change. I was not going to tip for runny eggs I could not eat but he kept my change. Also he never once offered to refill my coffee. T One of the most horrible places I have ever eaten.

Traveling for work and this is one of the places that came up while searching for something good and filling. Great service, the bartender Jerry was great!! Shrimp and grits were delicious!

This food chain restaurant is one of the best. I don't understand what is the negative connotation with food chain places but they are successful for a reason. Anyways on to the important things. This is a great brunch place to bring your love ones for Easter or Mother's Day. You can't go wrong with breakfast food. I got the French toast with eggs and sausage and my friend, Chris, got the Benedict Oscar. Both entrees are phenomenal and I just wanna go back for seconds.

The food was satisfactory and after confronting my waiter (Kevin) about his attitude, the service was also satisfactory. Would not be my first recommendation but won't not say it's okay.

The wait went from 20 to 45 minutes and the food took a while, however once we received our order it was fantastic. I really like the variety offered on the menu and the ambiance was great for socializing both in and outdoors. Our service was also fairly good. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

There was a 30-40 minute wait for a table so I got a cup of coffee at Starbucks next door. They wouldn't let me bring it to the table. I would have ordered coffee from them if they offered it while I waited. Management wouldn't make an exception for the long wait so they lost four customers for life but I guess the potential loss of one coffee sale was worth it to them.

I had the Shrimp and Grits and was not overly impressed. I do have to say though that everyone else's food looked great. Service was adequate.

On our merry way to New Orleans this morn, we stopped at this delightful restaurant for breakfast and were treated to our waiter Andrew's fine service and good food, to boot. Two of us raved about the omelettes, and my husband said the LaFitte burrito was "best ever". The oatmeal was just okay but muffins very tasty. As we left, Andrew obliged us with to-go cups and we were wishing him safe travels, as he is planning to work at another Another Broken Egg in Orlando-- mississippi's loss and florida's gain! We are hoping this chain spreads its franchise in Illinois.

It was super busy when we went, had a bit of a wait. Once we were seated we could tell the wait staff was doing their best, everyone was friendly and working hard. The manager came out and took our drink orders to help keep things moving while our server was delivering food. Turns out the wait was worth it! The food was delicious! Price was a lil higher then we usually spend on breakfast but it was worth it as well! My family enjoyed our breakfast!

Went here for brunch on the 4th with my mom and sister and we had a great time. We were immediately seated when we walked in, as they were not too busy for the holiday, and our server took our drink orders as we looked over the menu. And since I'm obsessed with pancakes (and grits)... I pretty much knew what I wanted, as did my sister with her choice of waffle, bacon, and sausage. So as my mother continued to read the menu from top to bottom, I asked our server (who was not only cute but fantastic and attentive) to start us off with the Biscuit Beignets. After a couple of minutes, the beignets came to the table piping hot and smothered in powder sugar. My small complaint would be to hold back on the sugar as those fried delights were quite yummy, but the sugar had us all asking our server for Water!!! My mother had finally decided on a shrimp and sausage dish that was changed to come served on some grit cakes, the kitchen was very helpful with the changes to her dish and she enjoyed it. I enjoyed my large buttermilk pancakes (2 are plenty trust me) and the grits were perfect (with a bit of added salt). My sister also enjoyed her waffle and crispy bacon, she'd gotten the patty sausage and the taste was very different for her, probably from being use to eating store bought patty sausage, but she and my mother said it wasn't bad just different and well seasoned. Overall, it was a nice first experience at Another Broken Egg in MS, so I will definitely be trying one here in GA as well. Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day, but tastes even better in the afternoon with awesome company!!!

Wait time for a Friday at 10 was long. 45 mins. Menu changed and some items were removed. Took forever to get my food and check. Food was great. Need to work on service.

  • Matt Y.

Wait time wasn't that bad considering it was on a Sunday at lunch time. However, we waited for our food for over 45 minutes. There were people who were seated before us that got their food before we did.

Breakfast at "Another Broken Egg" is a good way to start your day. The atmosphere is very nice (not noisy). Had the Floridian omelet. Getting the right consistency with the eggs are a personal preference so I can't complain. Good meal, good coffee and friendly staff what more can one expect.

It's was ok. Nothing special. Love the coffee mugs. The food was good and hot. The food took awhile and the wait for a table a lil long with not that much of a crowd.

Our food was delicious, but more importantly our service was AMAZING. Our server, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable about every item we inquired about. She was so nice and incredibly helpful. We hope to go back soon!! So, ask for Jennifer, and dive in!! Yumm!!

Food was good, but not "great." Do not eat here unless you have well over an hour to spend because service is excruciatingly slow. Seating relatively quickly, but took 5-10 minutes before server took drink order. Took 10 minutes to bring us coffee (a different server came to ask what we wanted to drink in between). Ordered and it took 20 minutes for my omelet to be served and yet an additional 10 minutes for my husband's quiche to be served. Doubt we'll be back as it seems there are issues with the servers and the kitchen. Disappointing since this was recommended by locals. We've shared our experience with them so they can tell their 10 friends, etc.

This is your best bet for a solid breakfast in the Jackson area. I like to come here because the menu makes it pretty easy to accomodate anyone (it's got healthy choices, vegetarian options, etc) and the food's been good. It's also got a charming kind of vibe that you won't find at other breakfast chains like IHOP, and when the weather is nice, the outside seating is great. It seems like others have had bad experiences with service, but I guess I've been lucky; I've always had really nice service when I've been here.

I love the decor of the place. I sat at the bar cause I was dining alone. The bar was very busy and the place was packed. I ordered the shrimp and grits and waited almost 30 minutes for my order. The waitress was very apologetic and only charged me half for my meal and I got a free Mimosa! I will definitely go back, the shrimp and grits were ok. Not the best I've ever had but I will go back and try something else.

Coffee is terrible. I didn't finish my cup. I watched others make a funny face. $2.69 for terrible coffee at a breakfast place is bad. Tasted like instant coffee. Staff was nice. Food was middle of the road.

  • Hina S.

Really good food. Good pancake, nice coffee friendly staff. I went by myself and i sat on their bar area which was nice. Service was good. I had a pancake, cheese grits and basted eggs with bacon. Yes finally I found a place who makes basted eggs and who knows what basted means. :) The two ladies sitting next to me ordered them as well. Perfect eggs would defi go back but since I live in brandon it is a bit of a drive for me to just go there for breakfast. But I loved the food and no wait if you are not picky about where to sit.

Overcooked plasticy eggs, gross coffee and overall overpriced underskilled cooking makes me never want to visit this place again.

I have been here twice , the first time right after opening so I cut them some slack; however eighty bucks for a mediocre breakfast for my family wax a bit much. Went back recently and it wasn't bad just not spectacular. Expensive. I will say the service was good.

Not bad, but not mind-blowing. With all the hype, I have had better breakfast experiences elsewhere. The food and service are okay, but nothing extraordinary. Definitely try the scrambles or the bananas foster french toast.
