Came here on a Saturday night while visiting my little sister who goes to Ole Miss. Not a huge fan of the $10 cover or the fact that they made a huge scene at the front because they thought my ID was fake, I'm assuming that's because they don't see a lot of Kansas ID's. Drinks were decently priced and music was OK but I wouldn't recommend this place to people over 21 wanting to have a fun night out.. Too many youngsters trying to get you to buy them drinks!

Don't look young or the drunk frat kids wearing red shirts will laugh and threaten to cut your ID for the fun of it. Don't be over 21 anyway because the swarm of freshman girls will hear about it and ask you for booze. Don't be the driver because the tap water will cost you $3. Don't complain about the $3 water or a drunk bouncer will rip your arm off escorting you out.

This place is always going to be J.W. Forester's to me and it was my favorite happy hour location during my college days but I was really sad to see how far the happy hour scene of Thursday has fallen. In my college days there were hundreds of people in this joint for happy hour. On my recent visit there were five dudes at the bar. The price of my beer during happy hour was $5 so that might be a good indication of why nobody was happy during happy hour as that certainly isn't happy hour pricing. The price of beers in Oxford has become outrageous and there is no excuse for not having any happy hour specials on beer.
