Great place! Moderately priced, good portions. I got the red curry, my wife got cashew chicken, and we got an appetizer of the fried wonton things (can't recall the name). We will definitely be back.

This is legit people. Real Thai food cooked by people from Thailand, trained in Thai culinary schools. I love this place. Thai is one of my favorite foods to eat and I have eaten in Thai places all over North America. This holds its own against any of them. The place is almost brand new, sparklingly clean and the service is unknowledgeable but quick. The genius of the place is in the kitchen. They use catfish in their seafood dishes and wow! who'da guessed that southern catfish would be so perfect for a thai sauce??? They do a busy lunch service but are quieter in the evenings. Some of the appetizers are very standard fare. Go for the more unusual dishes and let the chefs shine.

I've been here 3 times now, when visiting family in Meridian. This is now a must-visit eat time I'm in town, because while I can get comparable good Thai food at home, they don't have green curry with catfish!

I absolutely love this place. Everytime I visit Meridian, I must eat here...it's run by Thai people who really know their stuff about foodm and the prices are good. The exterior is very unassuming, with some banana trees on the outside. It's a very small building, and the inside is very bland, but the food is definitely worth it. Give it a try!

Another Asian oasis in the deceptively culinary desert called Meridian. Looks like a fast food joint if driving by, but a great place for an authentic Thai cuisine. Go for their lunch specials (under $8.00) -- small portions, but good way to try out unknown dish -- then go for the regular entrees, and let me tell ya, portions are HUGE. Try the sticky rice with custard...and crispy Catfish with veggies on top. Reminded me of my trip to Phuket! Feel free to up the "spicy" scale, as my Pad Prik Sod was pretty mild.

Tonight I enjoyed a warm, tasty, green curry and coconut broth with chicken, bamboo shoots, and rice that was delicious! I noticed the cook went outside to her personal herb garden to get some fresh ingredients for a dish she was preparing. The blending of flavors is well-balanced with the perfect amount of spice. So tasty! The dishes are worth the wait!

The food was average, no wow factor. The problem was the wait staff must have just started or could care less about the menu. The waitress asked if we wanted the lunch portion or regular portion when the lunch portion included on 4 items and no one at the table ordered those items. I wanted mine spicy and she did not understand what thai hot or #5 hot meant. I have eaten much better Thai in Meridian than Ta Krai.

Larb and shrimp fried rice were good. Noodle soups were bland and weren't served with fresh basil, lime or jalapenos. No hoissen or oyster sauce. The main reason I will never stop here again when passing through MS is that they charge $1.50 for tap water. Not a huge fan of getting hosed.
