The Jackson MS Hooters has been a pleasant pop-in favorite of mine every few months over the course of the last two years. I visit A LOT of Hooters. I have what I consider reasonable expectations of service, food quality, etc. The Jackson store has yet to disappoint me. I stop in to relax during a long drive, catch up on sports, chime in on a conversation at the bar with a local or fellow passer through. The bartender and cooking staff I had grown accustomed to seeing and listening to, as they playfully bantered back and forth, were either off or perhaps have transitioned to new chapters in their lives. However, the bartender Natalie and the lone cook during the majority of my visit filled in the atmosphere quite nicely. My drink stayed more than adequately refilled and my food was prepared and served in a very timely manner. The verbal exchanges between all of the Hooters' staff created the energy I popped into Hooters to absorb. The food, service and atmosphere met and/or exceeded my expectations. Let me not forget to mention the Hooter Girls. By my observation, the young ladies visually captured nice looking, cute, pretty and adorable in a plethora of body styles. Genuine smiles were abundant and no claws were evident : ). My overall experience was top of the scale. That is possibly luck of the draw or a testament to management, though I honestly suspect and lean toward the latter. Keep doing what you're doing right Jackson Hooters!!

Terrible service. 1st they took forever to bring our drinks. Then our apps were forever and we ordered our dinner sametime we ordered apps. And about 30 mins later our food came out. And we asked for breaded. And we received naked I asked the waitress several times and she then lied and said that the wings we had were breaded. Clearly not the case. And staff saw my food hang out they even covered it because it was out long.

I have been a long time fan of the Hooters of Jackson since they opened -- in fact I became good friends with one of the servers there (she works at Twin Peaks now) as well as most of the staff, both servers and management (by first name). Another reviewer mentioned Kathryn who I saw move up from server to management. However, the place has changed and I can't really explain why. I used to go there once a week -- I loved the wings. I have maybe visited once in six months now because the ambience isn't the same. When the restaurant opened it was a fun place to eat -- now it seems the staff doesn't want to be there. I also have to mention that although Jackson is a majority african-american city, I never felt out of place at Hooters until recently (I agree with the reviewer who talked about being the only Caucasian there and being uncomfortable). There is just a vibe to the place now that is not inviting to me anymore. I hate that because it was always a good place to go for lunch... but not now. I have moved to Twin Peaks and will probably stay there.

Stopped in with a client when I was traveling for work. This I guess is where he likes to go for lunch. No judgement there, I love me some wings. Had to sit around and wait a little longer than I would have liked to have my drink order taken and then a little longer than I would have liked for my food order to be taken. I wish I could say it was slammed and busy there but it really wasnt. Just the usual creepers (like my client and I) sitting around leering at the young girls. Food was good but never got the curly fries I orderd with my wings.

Service was terrible the appetizers came out very slow and so did the beer never was asked did we want to order. Forgot about the soup that we ordered that we ordered that never came. On the other hand the manager was great but he was just a little to late to help.

I was visiting my brother on March 2 in Jackson(I live in Nashville Tn) and we decided on wings from Hooter's for Sunday lunch. Ooooook....#1. I caught hell trying to figure out how to get in to the restaurant parking lot and passed it 3 times before I figured it out. #2. The parking lot and the building is practically the SMALLEST I've ever seen. I've seen Hooter's established in much larger buildings. 3. It was quite empty, the waitresses were sitting around, but since it was Sunday I figured this was the reasoning...then maybe not. The Hooter's in Memphis and here in Nashville are usually full after the 2pm hour. 4. I ordered 20 piece wings and was told that they only come with one measly container of dressing. Seriously? And an extra dollar charge for additionals! Our wings had no flavor on them and I specifically asked for mild and bbq mixed flavoring. The postitive thing I can speak of was the young lady who took my order. She was very nice, prompt, professional, and offered me a beverage while I waited on my food. Will I return? Meh...highly unlikely.

I love Hooters' wings. I love their Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches. I've always associated a meal at Hooters with quick service, friendly wait staff, and pretty generous portions. Unfortunately, my experience w/ the brand in Jackson MS has always been dismal - today's experience was the worst to date. My wife and I ordered and waited. And waited. And waited. 30 minutes. Our waitress never made eye contact as she passed us by lest we have an opportunity to ask where our food was. Finally, 1/3 of our order was brought to our table by a different waitress. 10 Minutes later our waitress finally came by to check on us and we informed her that we were missing 2/3 of our order. She went to the window, (put our order in) and returned telling us it would only be a couple more minutes. We waited another 10 minutes. I asked for the check. Paid. As we left, she came out and handed us an order of wings remarking "My manager told me to give these to you." Mind you it was the manager, not her. The Jackson MS Hooter's is one to skip.

I am only giving this Hooters 4 stars just because of the manager Kathryn. It all started with walking in the restraint and seating ourselves, the wife and I, the manager Kathryn waited on us, took our drink and food order, then about 10 minutes later a waitress showed up and asked if we wanted any drinks,of course we said no. Then about 5 minutes later another waitress showed up and said she was our waitress, no communication here. Kathryn delivered our drinks. After about 15 minutes, I'm not one to complain, but I started to get upset and so was my wife. I noticed our third waitress try and give another table what appeared to be our order a few tables over. After another 15 minutes, my wife went to our waitress and asked where our food was. The waitress arrived with just the fries we ordered and walked away, about 10 minutes later our order, we got 10 boneless wings in different sauces, the order was in one bowl all mixed up. Well that was it, I found the manager Kathryn and told her that our order was mixed up and Kathryn took the order, returned with it in separate trays. Kathryn told my wife and I that the entire order was on her, which frankly surprised me! If it wasn't for Kathryn being so nice and sincere to us, we would have walked out within the first 20 minutes. Thank you Kathryn to making a bad experience into a good one for us!!!

Food was good as always I go to a hooters in a different state probably once a month so I have been to a lot if them. This one was the worst one I've been to in a long time. I Was the only one sitting at the bar the place wasn't very crowded anyway, it was a Tuesday after all. Bartender was not happy to be there barley spoke to me and hardly made conversation to take my order. Almost as if she was trying to get me to leave so she could cash out and go home. She kept talking to the other waitresses and just had this bad look on her face the whole time like she didn't want to be there. The other waitresses seemed to all be together or no where in site I didn't notice them waiting on there tables that much. No hostess seemed to be a seat yourself night idk I sat at the bar so I always seat myself. Had the Heat and Toronto game on and was extremely loud.the best thing I can say about this experience is that the food was exactly what I wanted and expected my beer was cold and it was a pretty clean environment.

I had curly fries from here about 2 years ago. I haven't been back. The menu was small and the fries weren't worth me ordering anything else. The waitresses were okay. This is mainly for the guys. Guys will eat anything

I walked in on a Monday night (06-30-14) around 9:15pm. I waited at the hostess stand for over five minutes before one of the many employees acknowledged me. It was busy, but there were still around 8 open tables in the main area. When the hostess arrived, she walked me past all of the main tables, to a side room table, which I had to squeeze past a table of four guys. I happened to glance at my watch and saw it was 9:22pm. This side room was packed. The waitress ( black female with long hair) was working hard, but after ten minutes, didn't come to my table. For what it's worth, I was literally the only white person in the place. It didn't bother me, but apparently it bothered the other patrons, as I received more than a few scowling looks that said "WTF is this guy doing here?" if you catch my drift. The waitress looked directly at me three or four times, and when she'd catch my eye, would look away. She filled two separate drink orders to the guys right next to me, then filled three drink orders, another order of wings, and a return trip for more tea to the table of women on my other side. It was now 9:32pm. She walked away for another five minutes, and when she returned to the room I got excited, thinking she was walking over to take my order. Nope! She went right back to the table of guys next to me and laughed with them, asked how their food was and took another order for more drinks. As she walked away, she stopped at the table of women and took another drink order for them! She returned, dropped off their orders, looked at me once again and began to walk away! Realizing I was never going to receive any service, whatsoever, I stood up, said "Excuse me, ma'am, but your service is $&@&ing ridiculous!" and I left. DONT GO HERE. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NOT AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PLACE OF BUSINESS. BYPASS IF AND WHEN YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF IN JACKSON MISSISSIPPI.
