Very comfortable & convenient hotel in a safe part of Jackson. Hilton is very consistent and this hotel is no exception. Modern decor, nice selection of restaurants nearby, pool & fitness center, business center & plenty of meeting rooms. Overall, great service and a pleasant stay. I would stay here again.

Very comfortable hotel. No skidmarks on the bedroom comforter, or sheets- Big plus for me. A little older but very well maintained. I was happy with my room and amenities, good water pressure, all the plumbing worked, fully stocked bar. This place was okay in my book! would stay again.

Had an AMAZING time here! Staff was nice and accommodating. They seemed very organized and fast considering they were hosting two business conferences (that I knew of) and one wedding in the same week! I LOVED walking in to hear Live Jazz music from the bar every night. Pool was nice and clean! Loved the fruit basket in the gym and the fact it was 24hrs. Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants in great location. I hope to come back soon! :D

It is a very nice old hotel that have great service from the front desk to cleaning staff. Everything was nice and neat; so why not five (5) stars. I requested a king and got a double and was unable to use executive room nor did I get my upgraded room that I requested. The food in the restaurant is really not worth the price so I recommend going out and not next next door to their owned restaurant. Food is really over priced to have no flavor but the salad was really good.

Nice hotel. A bit run down but very nice. on the upper end of three stars. It must have been a grand hotel in its hey day.

The common areas of the hotel were well taken care of and in good order. The room I stayed in needs a little TLC. From Peeling wallpaper bad mounts for for fixtures and non working outlet the details were missed. The grater issue is the overall level of noise. The suites have laminate floor and noise from the room above is amplified. in addition the structure knocks and clicks and wails all night. In the morning from 9:30a-4p the staff made an in ordinant and consistant amount of noise. in an effort to be speedy and not use their key cards they placed teh loop lock between the door and the door jamb. This may be a good idea for those who cant stand to take the 15 seconds to reopen the door but the trade off is a sprung door that when released makes a tremdous amount of noise. The staff flipped rooms from, as I mentioned 9:30a until 4:00 and i stoppped counting at 57 slams. Hilton's traditionally maintain great property's and the staff here was polite and very friendly. Again it was the execution of service or lack of basic consideration for a guest that may choose to sleep in and then attempt to work that really bothered me. Make that 58....59 slams. I guess they missed a spot next-door.

Stayed here for a conference and it was just alright. The light next to my bed would only work sometimes and the when I told the front desk they simply just said " well alright! Thank you" it didn't bothered me much cause I only used to room to sleep in for a few short hours but the conference hall was nice.

Nice rooms, beds are better than most. Staff is very warm and welcoming. The only problem was a whinning sound from the refrigerator. Very high pitched, annoying and something they said was normal. I like it quiet at night, but this was too much and they couldn't fix it. The room wouldn't cool down enough at night. Had it set as low as it would go, but never really felt cool.

Overall I am impressed with Hilton hotels however this one missed the mark. First, I had to change rooms after a plumbing issue. After calling the front desk about it the maintenance didn't arrive until an hour later and a second phone call. Secondly, I requested at the front desk to have a fruit basket to be delivered. The front desk sent me to the bar, the sent me to the restaurant and the restaurant said they are closed. The service was horrible for Hilton standards. I do not recommend this hotel.

We stay here every year for our anniversary. We stay in the executive suite which is almost 900 sq ft including a stand up shower, whirlpool tub and standard size tub. Guaranteed to feel clean by the time you leave haha! Also has 2 flat screens, a living room with table and wet bar, fridge, king size bed, etc. Suite rooms also have access to 12th floor happy hour apps and drinks and continental breakfast in the am. Hotel has a beautiful main entrance, friendly staff, pool area has a fire pit and cabana area, basic gym and the lobby has live music on weekends. Room service breakfast was surprisingly outstanding. We ordered the works and every bite was better than the next. Cant wait till next year!

The hotel is updated and very nice looking, but their service could use an upgrade. The last time I was here for a conference, they catered a breakfast meeting event. Not only was the food late, they ran out of plates and then utensils. It's not just big events, either: it takes forever to place an order and be served in the lobby bar area. When a lamp light went out in my room, I called the front desk and requested someone to replace the light bulb, who never came. Finally, on my last visit, a colleague found the previous customer's old gym socks in her (made) bed -- gross.

I do business with the Hilton Jackson on a consistent basis for work. They are fantastic if you are booking meetings or conventions for groups. As with all Hiltons, their customer service is top notch. Their meeting space is nice, my members enjoy their lavish rooms, the food is always good and the staff is superb.

Stay somewhere else....enough said! Ready to check out and enjoy time with hubby SOMEWHERE ELSE! Will NOT stay here again. Sooo disappointed since it's a Hilton---they should do random room checks after the rooms have supposedly been cleaned! :-(

Stayed here while in Jackson for work. This is probably one of the nicest hotels in Jackson. They have a pool area, gym, bar, many convention rooms and restaurant. Nothing really special in the rooms. But they have everything you could need in the room. There is not a free breakfast for everyone, but if you have enough Hilton points you can get into the free breakfast upstairs and free drinks in the evening. Everyone was very helpful and nice. There was plenty of parking. The area the hotel is in is safe. I never felt scared. There is free wifi. I would recommend this Hilton for anyone staying in the area for a short period of time.

This Hilton is alright. I think, when I made the reservation, I automatically thought it would be a great choice because of the name "Hilton." The lobby is actually pretty nice. There's a little bar, sitting area and I think there was even a pianist performing during the afternoon. When I checked into the hotel, it was about 9PM and I was tired and hungry. There was a band playing in the lobby area for the drinking crowd. I got into my room and discovered that my room was directly above the lobby and I could hear the music through the floor. Knowing that there was no way I could sleep through that, I called the front desk to ask if they could move my room to another, quieter part of the hotel. At first the woman at the front desk said, "No. We are totally booked and have no other rooms." "You are totally booked? You have absolutely no other rooms?" I asked, surprised, thinking, 'I'm in Jackson, MS on Wednesday night. What the hell could be going on that would book out the entire hotel?' She advised me that there was some conference and she couldn't help me. I express some disappointment and hung up. Two minutes later, she called me back to tell me she had found a room for me to stay in, a couple floors up. Awesome. When I got to the room, I was able to get a room-service order in before they closed the kitchen (10PM, I think). Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Buttered Green beans and biscuits. Pretty darn good for a hotel... but, then again, I was starving. This Hilton won't knock your socks off. While the woman at the front desk did call me back to give me a better room, I wouldn't say that were the nicest of people. The bathroom/room was clean and the room was quiet-- I suppose, when on a business trip, that's all you need.

Lobby looks great but the thrill ended there. My room (404 if you're reading this hotel manager) had the following problems: an old-fashioned toilet that used probably 8 gallons to flush and took a full minute to do it; loose sink fixtures; and a tub whose coating was already peeling. Even the light fixtures were wobbly and cheap looking. Bed was OK. Pillows all soft and mushy, not a firm one in the mix. TV choices limited. Not what I expect from a Hilton room. FYI Night attendant could not figure out how to make my travel company's AmEx card pay for all 3 rooms; morning attendant figured it out at checkout luckily.
