Love it! The food is always delicious, the people who work here are really nice, and service is quick! All the other Chinese places in this area are gross, but everything I've had from here has been hot and tasted really good. It's never made me sick either, which is unusual for Gulfport eating establishments. I come here all the time and for good reason!

Ok the food is really good and super inexpensive but I have been here 5 times now and today marks the 2nd time getting the wrong food. It's all made to order so I don't get it. The first time I went here I went through the drive thru and ordered mushroom chicken, got orange chicken. I was able to go I and get the right food before I left. Today I ordered by number (3) the Kung Pow but got some sort of pepper steak. Made it home before I realized it. Really sucks but lesson learned, check the damn bag. Didn't want pepper steak :(

Great family owned place that is always clean and fresh. The hot and sour soup has a great blend of seasoning and the shrimp and lobster is very nice also.

The vegetables fried rice and chicken fried rice are awesome. I'm here on a business trip and looking for a place with take out close to my hotel. So I used yelp to find a place. I agree with all the other reviews. Fresh, quick, friendly staff and a very good price.

Their service is piss poor and the food is disgusting! We were expecting great food and service, but it was a disappointment!

I was craving fried rice on my way down Hwy 49 at 10:30 in the morning. I was kind of bummed out because none of the places I had looked up opened until 11. I just happened to glance across the highway and saw that Wok Express had their 'open' sign on, so I pulled a U-ey and went through the drive through, and yes, they were open despite their posted opening time of 11am! I ordered the 'house special fried rice'. It took about 7-10 minutes from ordering to receive my food, which I thought was reasonable for freshly prepared food. It smelled so good that I was hard pressed to make it to my destination without pulling over to sample a bite. The serving was huge (2 meals worth for me), it was chock full of assorted meats including a few shrimp (more can be requested for a small additional charge) and was very tasty. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because while there were peas and carrots in it, that was the only evidence of vegetables I could find, and I felt some crispy pieces of celery and onion would have added some good textures to round out the dish. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other selections.

Just wanted to say we still drive thru here often and the food is always great. Our orders are usually large and they are very skilled at packaging them! I love their shrimp lo mein. I must get it every time. The shrimp are always so fresh tasting. Just wanted to update as we have been here many, many times over the last several years.

I work across the street from this place and im a usual here and the workers are friendly and the food is cooked to order so no worries about old food just sitting out under heat lamps. Price is reasonable and fast if you're in a hurry.

While this place used to be an average cafeteria style take out it has now gone to a cooked to order take out joint. The food is ho hum and the servings are average. Its sad that the food is just average because it has a great location and Gulfport needs a take out CChinense food place. We really are in need of an affordable take out place where you can run in and out in a few minutes. With all the Chinese places being buffets, I really think this place could have a great impact if their food was a bit more flavorful. I had the sweet and sour chicken (** stars) that tasted like it was brought in and cooked from a box. The fried rice was a bit anemic and other than the color and texture had nothing in it. On a take home plate I had them add shrmip to a fried rice and the shrimp were tiny and the size of my nail. They taasted bland and were frozen., It is sad because Biloxi and gulfport are on the Coast and local restaurants have acess to amaizing size fresh shrimp. Nothing in this place left any impression on me and I hope that the owners will take the time and put some money into rethinking their menu.

Very good food and fast. Prices are resonable too. Portions are large. The General's Chicken is quite tasty. The spring rolls are great for starters. Great place to carry out. Yes there is parking you just need to be smart enough to not park at the Arbys and know how to read the signs.

Omg! Yum! This place finally have a drive thru! I'm one of those lazy people who just don't want to get out the car. They make their food fresh, why do I know? Well, I seen them make it in front of me before my eyes and man, they were yummy! Fast and yummy! Price is reasonable! I will def. go there again!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
