We shall start with 3 stars. This place gets busy in an instant! So I figured it must be good. Scooped up the parents since they wanted to grab some food and we were off. Mother ordered a grilled catfish/shrimp platter and father ordered a special off the line, fried rice and some pepper steak. I didn't order anything. (Wasn't hungry and didn't want to waste food. I did sample some from their plates though). Grilled Catfish / Shrimp- Was decent. The shrimp were a little on the spicy side. The catfish was not dry and very good. Not as spicy as the shrimp. Came with 2 hush puppies, bread, potato salad. Portion size was decent. Mother couldn't finish it but she thoroughly enjoyed it. Special- Dad enjoyed it. He doesn't enjoy many things so that's a good sign. Rice could of use a bit more flavor but overall was satisfying the way it is. The prices are on par with similar places in town. The shrimp here was the big surprise as they were big shrimp and not those small thumb nail sized ones. Gave this place 3 stars because there was a bit of a snafu with the order. I paid with my debit card while ordering (can't let the parents pay now). They didn't ask for a name for mother's catfish. Instead, the girl used mine (guess from the card). Waited about 12-15 mins for the order. My mother asked about it and they informed her that they do not have an order for her. She gave them her name, i figured they would of remembered what she had because she was sitting in front of the counter waiting the whole time. Having been told that, they decided on canceling. They voided the transaction and now there is a 2-3 day wait for my $20. On the way out, one of the nice young girls ran out with a box and explained the situation with the names. She said they had it done. I went inside figuring we'd be offered something for the mix up but was charged another $20. So now, I'm out $40 but still waiting for the $20 refund. Overall, no big deal. New place, I guess they have a few kinks to work out. Most likely, I'll return (and hopefully have an updated review). Definitely want to grab a poboy and some wings. I do know that my parents have a new lunch spot though!

Typical fast food seafood joint with a twist....they also serve a limited chinese menu. Friendly ladies at the counter...food is....ok. Bit too salty. Seemed like most of the customers were ordering pig feet and turkey necks while I was waiting for my shrimp.

I had the turkey neck, corn, eggroll, and boudin. The turkey neck was huge and a good price. It was good but wasn't falling off the bone kind of soft. The corn was marinated in like a crawfish boil and it was perfect; sweet and spicy. The boudin was spicy and hot but needed more flavor. It was kind of bland but the temperature was good on it. I tried a crawfish and it was very flavorful. Will come back for the crawfish only next time. And there were these cute little Asian girls outside selling lemonade for 25¢. I couldn't say no.

Was passing through Gulfport and wanting crawfish when I saw this place from the highway. Parking was super tight and very few spots. Upon entering it is unique in that they have a small Chinese buffet, or steamed seafood, and a few not on menu items such as turkey necks. I ordered 5lbs of crawfish with corn and potatoes and a cup of gumbo. First off the flavor was nice not too spicy which was good as they don't sell beer although apparently you can bring in your own as i saw many patrons doing. The crawfish however were way over cooked and very tough to get out of shell, I ended up throwing away a lot of the crawfish as they were just too hard too shell. The gumbo had an amazing flavor, however was ice cold and upon complaining they very promptly microwaved it, i then discovered a piece of metal in it and also tossed it out, sadly as it was delicious. I probably won't return.

My boyfriend and I had some doubts when we went it, but boy were we wrong. The crawfish was a good size, and with a good spice that doesn't ruin the taste, it was just spicy enough. The corn and potatoes were very filling and the drink refills were free. I wish there was more of an atmosphere for eating the crawfish, so next time we will be taking it home. I also wish there was a combo deal, we had to get everything a la carte. However we will be coming back and everyone should check it out!

My new favorite place to buy cooked crawfish. 2 recent purchases have yielded very flavorful crawfish of excellent quality--nice soft shells and heads brimming with fat. The folks that run it are very friendly and they serve a small chinese buffet for a reasonable price. They also have a few local "soul food" favorites on hand as well. I will definitely be back!
