Friendly and helpful service. Nachos were so so. Definitely a college student vibe going on. Thumbs up to the frozen drinks.

Similar to chipotle in concept but with more character and options. A lot of choices in flavor of burrito or salsas. Quick service and cool interior. You can go as healthy as you want here. I'll be back!

Mosquito Burrito falls into a category of restaurants you'd expect to see in a college town without falling into the trap of becoming a place known only to attract the college crowd. If you're a fan of the chains Chipotle or Moe's, then you'll definitely want to give this local version a try! They offer your typical choices of tacos, a burrito, a salad, or a burrito bowl. The menu provides a step by step guide for how to order your meal. They offer a variety of choices ranging from your choice of tortilla, meat, beans, and toppings. I love that they have the option of a wheat tortilla! I've personally tried the chicken and the barbacoa, which is more of a slow cooked then pulled pork. Both have been packed with flavor, so much so that I don't feel the need to overload on the toppings. You receive a side of chips and salsa, and the seasoning for the chips gives them a great smokey flavor. The staff is welcoming and I've always been met with a smile. The atmosphere is so fun and laid back! You'll see people of all ages and backgrounds dining here. They have music playing and TVs tuned in to ESPN. They also feature a community board that shares information for what's currently happening in and around the Cleveland area. Overall, a great choice for some casual dining.

A perfect casual spot to grab something good to eat in the heart of Cleveland. I had the nachos and a beer. I liked having the ability to add the toppings I wanted rather than having a preset menu This is a hang out for the young fun crowd.

It's like a burrito subway. It's similar to Chipotle in some sense. Good food and fast service.

Nice Mexican American cafeteria like restaurant. You come in and choose a soft taco, hard taco or flour tortilla. Then choose a meat which can be beef or steak for example. Next, tell what you want on it. I got a steak burrito and it was good. It came with chips and sausa. I got a sweet tea.

Yum! While not a Cleveland local, this place was a great stop of lunch for an out of townie like myself. Sort of a build your own burrito place. Excellent helpful staff to walk you through your options and a great alternative to fried food. Being a vegetarian I just got the burrito bowl (no tortilla) with beans and rice with toppings. Would love to see some other "meat" options like maybe fish or tofu. Terrific homemade chips! Will certainly be back as I visit more.

Similar to chipotle except chipotle is cheaper and has fresher ingredients. We ordered a burrito bowl and 3 soft corn Tortilla tacos w ground beef. The burrito bowl was swimming in liquid, when I say swimming in it I'm saying almost half the bowl was liquid. When we went to have it remade they told us to watch what you put on it bc of the juices the pico and salsa has in it. My tacos, cold beef. I ate 2 of them and by the time I got to the 2nd one the tort was hard already. Bc we also had an issue with our bill (charged to much for rice and beans) we went to the counter to have it adjusted and I brought up my beef tacos. I got the run around. Watch what you put on your tacos, our cold bar is really cold. All I had was cheese and onions. So with a little draining of salsa and pico and some higher heat under the meats I guess it could be better. Oh no prices listed too. I'm going to stick to chipotle.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
