The Starving Musician

This could be one of my favorites if I lived here. It's kind of like a cafe but in a different style in my terms. Located on cotton row on the right side if you are turning off highway 8. It can easily be missed. Look for a mostly white sign with thin green letters on it. You can park diagonally across the street. Now, it gets kind of busy here at lunch time. So, I would recommend coming at 11am or after 1pm. The food, it's great, enough said. But, in case you are wondering through the parking lot, come on in. They have cookies, cakes, casserole dishes, cinnamon rolls and lots of "sweet tooth" deserts. Also, coffee is in here to wake up if you just have one eye open in the morning.

Reviews:
This restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember. I would estimate maybe closing in on 40 years. It has been rebuilt 3 times. The first sonic was across the street from its present location. Then, they closed it and built a new one where it is now about 15 to 20 years ago. Then, about 5 years ago they completely tore it down and built this one that stands today. I believe this is Cleveland's most popular restaurant as far people visiting it. Sometimes you can't even find a parking place here during lunch hour on week days. There service has always been fast and friendly. I usually get a combo meal. This includes a hamburger, fries and a coke.

I am from Ohio, not Mississippi. I came here looking for a small mom and pop where I could pig out, and I was very fortunate to get a tip on this place. When you walk in, there's a feel that you're at a gas station Quick Mart with goods such as 2 litter bottles on display, but you'll see a counter with a menu above. The cooks were very friendly as I ordered a double cheese burger, tamales & hot fries. I was very impresses with the size of the burger, which was bigger & more filling than a Five Guys double burger. Everything I ate was delicious. I was more impressed with the other details of this place. There is a back room pool table & TV where regular patrons hang out. I was even more impressed with these patrons because as I was eating, these regulars were striking up conversations with me and treeted me like family. Living far away, I will always stress to others to visit this place. IT IS A HIDDEN GEM!

Delicious food. I was LUCKY to stop in the day they served their Ham Chowder with collard greens, tomatoes and black eyed peas. DELISH. Everything else I've tried has been great as well. The staff is welcoming and friendly, southern hospitality at its finest. Truly, Delta Meat Market is a must-visit if you're in the area.
If you need an event venue, go here. We had a party booked at another location, and they dropped us last minute in favor of another party. We ended up moving the party here. Cole bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed, and rescued our party more times than we could count. He made a potential disaster into a wonderful, memorable event. Thank you more than you know!
Very unique cuts of meat.. Great selections.. Cole is very knowledgable about the farms and the local products he buys.. Excellent addition to cotton row and the Mississippi delta!!

This is the best and busiest Pizza Hut I have ever been to. You can call your pizza in or you can dine in. They have a pizza special at all times. They also have a pizza buffet during the week days. This is my favorite Pizza Hut and pizza restaurant .

Look in your mail box and newspaper for coupons that can be used here to save you money. If not, get whatever is on special when you come in. The customer service here is always fast and friendly. They are very quick in getting your order up. As soon as you pay, they give you your cup, and before you can fill it with your choice of drink, my order is ready. Now, that is fast.

Hey Joe’s

118 E Sunflower Rd
Cleveland, 38732
Reviews:
Most popular bar in town, especially among the college students, and has a great location - the first visible establishment when driving to downtown or delta state. Pretty good food, good draught beer selection. Not the best service, no liquor. I went in last Friday trying to order a burger at 9:06 but the waitress was quick to tell us that the kitchen closed at 9... so we sat at the bar to get a quick beer before going to Airport Grocery for food (their kitchen open until 10 and flexible with that time), and it took the bartender at Hey Joe's about 15 minutes to speak to us; we nearly walked out. They just added a very nice covered back patio set up with a stage, an upstairs deck, cornhole, and giant jenga. Quizo (bar trivia) on Wednesdays is always fun. Food is solid, they have a rotating burger of the month that donates proceeds to charity. Burgers are tasty. Get a double patty for only $1 more. Crowd is very trendy/hipster though, which isn't my preferred scene.
For whatever reason, Cleveland seems to be awash with good places for burgers and Hey Joes is definitely one of them. I had the Kevin Bacon burger and it comes not just with bacon but also with a fried egg. Nice! The craft beers and big old bar decor only adds to the feeling you could hang here for a long time. The waitress on a Monday evening was super friendly, helpful and informative. The only negative I will throw out is avoid the sweet potato fries. They are a pretty horrible interpretation of fried shredded God knows what. I'll definitely be back when business brings me into town.
The first time I went here I wasn't all that impressed. However, once I was suckered back with some friends and I ordered the jalapeno chedder stuffed burger my mind was blown. Hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. I have been here with large groups and small and the service is always pretty good. They also used to have man's night were PBR was dirt cheap which was great. My one complaint is that the burgers aren't always cooked the best, but if the chef does it right the jalapeno burger is awesome.

This is the best hamburger restaurant in the Delta. Their hamburgers are moist and good and service is fast. It's convenient off highway 61. They are reasonbly priced for the value that you get and refills are free and self serve.
In town on business for a few days and stopped here for a quick burger. Had no great expectations but got a shockingly good burger. If I were a local, I would give up making my own burgers. The decor is probably wanting but who cares. Service is fast and friendly. I may have every lunch here.
I was here at 12noon. The burger tasted like it was cooked when they opened. It was tasteless and dry. The fries were refried. Pass this by!

Very good coffee shop, great coffee, friendly service. Good breakfast options as well. Would definitely recommend if you're at Delta State
Meh is right. The coffee is ok, but the lunch menu is SO OVERPRICED, and frankly not that good. They do offer free wifi. This shop is a popular hangout for college kids and professors. It's usually pretty noisy. There are plenty of places to sit and hang out. New owners and location as of 2011 I think.
Love this place! Coffee is amazing especially "Cotton Ball"! The food is exceptional as well! A must if your ever in Cleveland!

Lost Pizza Co. is one of my absolute go to places to eat when I am in Cleveland for work. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal. Don't bother with the generic pizza toppings and go straight for one of their specials...everyone I have ever had has been good. My personal favorites are: - Lucille and El Diablo Can't go wrong.
Hmmmm! Good Pizza... I wanted something quick on a Wednesday night and this seemed promising based on other Yelp recommendations. The place was about a quarter filled mostly with families. I got the El Diablo pizza and was not disappointed. It was packed with flavor and filling although not as spicy as I hoped. There is a good selection of domestic beer but nothing exciting. The decor of eclectic outdoorsy with lots of space and very child friendly. Service is super friendly and reasonably quick. I would definitely come back to try the other specialty pizzas.
Great pizza, friendly staff, lots of beer choices and love the music decor. We were pleased to find such a cool place. Had the vegetarian Happy Hippie pizza thin crust. It was light and tasty. They had other op tions like sandwiches and salads too. Also like the words on the Volkswagen van - love all, serve all.
