Went on a Friday night and the food was great. Pupillo Salad is really really good. Not your typical bar and grill. This will definitely become a regular place for us to eat.

I was a little reluctant to go here, but thought I would give it a shot because it was close. I should have listened to my gut. This place is right on the fringe of Jefferson County, so this is a smokers' paradise. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against smokers, but I am becoming very fond of the smoking ban in restaurants in STL county. Fortunately the back room was smoke free. So we sat down in front of the only big screen TV they had to watch the Blues home opener. I usually wouldn't judge a restaurant by their TVs, but this is a sports bar and they only had one big screen and maybe three other TVs in a huge room and they were teeny tiny. Our waitress was super nice and sweet, but those were her best characteristics. She said she was new and begged us not to split the bill because it would be too difficult for her. So we agreed. We got wings and spicy nachos. The wings were decent, but she brought them out without any napkins or plates. It took her about 15 minutes to come back with some and by that time we had just about finished the wings and exhausted our ration of napkins. The nachos were horrible. Every other chip was stale and instead of crunching, kind of bent when bit in to. The cheese sauce was like a bland cheese wiz and the chicken was out of a can and not spicy at all. Fortunately there was barely any chicken on there. The lettuce was huge chunks of romaine. There was nothing redeeming at all and probably the worst nachos I ever had. Back to the restaurant itself, I'm no Prima donna, but I tend to like a comfortable atmosphere. We were under the one ceiling fan that was on its highest setting. When we asked for them to turn it off, they jokingly gave us trouble that we were being difficult. Even this task took about 15 minutes. The remote was wrapped up in electrical tape and it had to be taken apart to put new batteries in it. The girl trying to fix it kept talking about how sticky her fingers had become and all the while blocking the hockey game. Just about everything about this place with weird and dingy. The bathroom was disgusting and what bumped it up on the gross out scale was the shower next to the urinal. We couldn't figure out who would need to take a shower in there. It's too bad that this place could be really fun, but they need to step up their game in many ways. I wouldn't go back.

Standard Sports Bar. Tortilla chips were stale. Brownie Supreme was Delicious. Mens, Womens, AND Unisex Bathroom! No biggie for the usual Fenton folk, but if any genderqueer/trans people show up, they're good to go! Yay!

They're trying...just not quite nailing it. Over priced, basic bar food. The wings are pretty good, but the staff is typically cranky and you just feel like you're bothering them. Been there many times over the years, but I think I am done with it.

Great place for a small group. Good food. Ok service the times that I have been here. Overall, friendly, relatively cheap, and a WIDE selection

Only never heard of "craft beers" on tap, bad food, but a nice serving staff dealing with all of the poor management decisions. Not the old Grand Slam quality it was. Feels as if they are trying to attract a crowd that isn't the majority population of Fenton/High Ridge with the hipster alcohol experiments. Food was once decent, cutting corners recent changes to product quality relying on frozen food and substandard meats, I can't believe they also cater parties. So sad to watch the demise of a business through the years, it wasn't broke don't know why they feel the need to keep making the experience worse.

Meh. This is a sports bar. It's not a bad one though. I'm not really a sports bar person. One thing that's odd, and maybe this is a MO thing, but when you are greeted at the hostess stand, you're asked which way you'd like to go: smoking or non smoking. Hmm? I though smoking in restaurants was totally abolished. Apparently not though. It was straight out of the nineties too in that there were no doors or anything separating the two. Just about 10 feet. Quite funny. At least to me. I had this huge fajita salad, which was actually not my finest choice. I did order wrong. In a place like this, I would lean towards something deep fried. However, the salad did have some good meat on top, it was served in one of those chips bowls, and I ate the hell out of it. The Goose Island to top it off wasn't bad either. Also, if you like darts, there seemed to be an abundance of dart matches being played. Good times.

Our go to place in Fenton. Always good food and great service. Reasonable prices too. Music on Wed nights. We love the Parmesan garlic chicken wings and Pupillo salad.

On March 21, 2015 we celebrated my husbands 60th birthday at Grandslam and I can't say enough about the wonderful food, service, and accommodations we received by having our party in their establishment!! We ordered Pasta Con Broccoli, Hot Wings, Vegetable tray, Fruit tray, Toasted Ravioli, Garden Salad and everyone had plenty of food and the trays were kept full. Service was excellent, professional, and on top of our every need throughout the evening. I can't say enough how well the party of 70 + People went, and everyone raved about the place. Thanks for helping us Surprise my husband!!

Overall: (2.7/5) Food: (3/5) Cleanliness: (3/5) Service: (2/5) Room Decor: (2/5) Music: (4/5) To be fair, I did come in during a dinner rush, so that may have affected the service I had received. To start off, there is absolutely nowhere to park. Then again, it is in the middle of nowhere so what do you expect? Friendly workers, and I must say, the jukebox is very futuristic looking, but provides a very less than modern soundtrack... Very clear sound system though, all their songs were pretty high quality. Could have more bass, but I am nevertheless impressed. Not the best service... They are very friendly and seem to try hard, but they don't check on your table too often... I feel as if my drink has been empty for quite some time. Their menu is completely atrocious. Absolutely no pictures of any food whatsoever, and it is as long as this review... Food seemed to take a while to make it's way to our table. Although when it arrived, there was definitely some to spare. Soooo much food!! I had gotten the large buffalo chicken salad, three dollars more than the 8 dollar regular portion. Definitely worth it. Overall, though, our table rated our food 3/5. My sister wasn't too impressed with their Buffalo Chicken Sandwhich. It was basically two thin chicken strips with buffalo sause and ranch. Nothing close to the deliciousness of a Buffalo Wild Wing's "Buffalo Chicken Sandwhich" The tables were all very neat, but the bathroom was pretty dirty. Not to mention... it has a shower? All in all, it was just short of decent. Nothing too special about this little Sports bar. A definite place to go if you and your bud's conversations usually consist of complaining about things.

We have gone a few times just to see if a band was there we liked. The place just stinks of smoke. They have a no smoking area but it doesn't matter. I go home and my hair and clothes just reek. They offer pizza on the menu. We've tried it twice. It's something but it's not pizza. I think they make it with velvetta, it's orange very runny. Seems to be a hang out for guys that work together. Wasn't comfortable there. Lots of foul language. Won't go back.

Meh...this place is ok. It's tucked back in basically the middle of nowhere so it's location does not help business much. The Philly cheese steak sandwhich I had was not good. However they have a large menu so hopefully some other items are better. Yor typical neighborhood sports bar is how I would describe it. Nothing special...beer, tvs, a few bar games, and an "interesting" crowd. Hotshots blows this place out of the water...and that's not saying much.

Food was great, people were nice. They have some outdoor dining and a nice room for groups. Good wings!

Had the chicken quesadilla. I'm not all that picky about food, but I could not finish it. Disgusting. I don't know what it was, but it was no chicken quesadilla I ever met before. It looked like cat food. Premium cat food, but still cat food. The main attraction to this place is that it is in Jefferson County and so it allows smoking. They claim to have a smoking and a non-smoking section. These are separated by a very wide and very open doorway. So, the whole place is smoking. If you like to smoke while you eat, this is your place. If you like halfway decent bar food, this is not your place. Looked like a great place for a barroom fight. So that could be a plus if you're lookin' for drinkin' and fightin'.
