Unlike subway, the counter with veggies and meat selections are not visible. There are brown bags from one of the 8 revolving counter. The no.s are to indicate the main item one will select which includes veggie, 3 meat, chicken, shrimp among other. I picked the brown bag from the chicken counter. Got a pen and took 3 min to run over the different options. On the brown bag there are different categories that one has to pick. My selection was buffalo chicken, wheat bread, hot pepper mix, spicy mayo, crispy string onion and the veggies including spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños , black olives, mushrooms. Topped it of with crushed red pepper. Gave the brown paper bag with my name to make the small 7"hotwich , paid a surprising 5.25 plus taxes and 5 min later was eating an experience from which wich! Tasty but makes you drink plenty of water later on....wondering if I can eat anymore salt for the day. Given the options a small brown bag can hold, will give it another try and then some more... Gulping some water as I finish!

I think Which Which is my new favorite fast/ causal sandwich shop. The sandwiches are super tasty and you get to customize it however you want! Breakfast sammys served all day which is a big +. They have all kinds of ingredients and I love the hot giardiniera pepper salad! Lots of vegetarian options too. I have had the chicken salad, buffalo chicken, and the Cuban with pineapple. You can get them hot or toasted. Also they will skinny the which and pull out the extra bread. All were amazing! I just recently discovered this place and can't stop going. $5.25 for the perfect size sammy. Rice krispie treats too! Sign up online for the club thingy and get a free sammy if you buy chips and a drink (2.25 I think) Try it you won't be disappointed!!

Interesting dynamic when it comes to ordering. You fill out a "survey-like" menu where you choose from 10 different types of sandwiches with tons of options for toppings, dressings etc. Sandwiches is what they do and they do it well. Always made to order, friendly service. Easily my favorite 'which stop in Columbia, a must for lunch.

Kansas City has one in Westport (I haven't been), and I have heard rave reviews of it from friends, so when I ventured upon this one in downtown Columbia, I figured I was due for the experience. I ordered the Banh Mi and OMG I have a new favorite sandwich. Flavorful pulled pork, cucumber, carrot slivers, and sricha mayo. I do think I would like more cilantro because I love cilantro. I also think next time I will get more hot sauce and less scricha mayo, but overall, this is a heck of a great sandwich for about $8. The staff is pretty incredible . . .friendly, helpful, and concerned. After wolfing it down, I was asked how the sandwich was and was asked if it was too spicy. Uhm, no, it was perfect, thank you. This is a neat venue. Kind of bare bones, but that's good. It's clean, the people are great, the venue is chill, and I will definitely be back!!

I'm sorry, I just really didn't like the premise of this restaurant. You have to get a piece of paper and fill it out yourself without having any idea how much the different toppings are going to end up costing you. In the end, I had a terrible sandwich thar was overpriced and hand the ingredients tasted expired. Will not go back.

I used to like this place because the sandwiches are very good. However, I would not plan on going there if you are in a hurry. They are SO SLOW and take FOREVER to make, even when thee are not very many people there. But the reason I am writing this review is because the last time I was there the place was covered in passive-aggresive signs enforcing new rules for behavior, such as no outside food and don't write vulgar names on your ticket. At first I thought it was kind of funny, and laughingly mentioned it to the checkout lady (who is apparently the manager?). She was not amused and was very grumpy about it. Apparently she has had problems with tons of people coming in with their own food and never ordering anything, and trashing the place, and people who come in a write bad words on their ticket and then refuse to pick up their sandwich until they say the name. REALLY? Is this a problem that happens every day? Is it worth ruining the previously nice atmosphere of the store to pepper it with rule and regulations, like we are prisoners waiting in line at the jail cafeteria. I am not sure if I will return. Maybe their should just enforce the rules as they are broken, rather than treating all of their customers as potential criminals. Perhaps after their current manager has moved on.

Finally a fast/casual sandwich concept that is affordable, tasty and well thought through. We stopped here for lunch on our way across the state. I got the Wicked, 5 types of meat. All for $6.25. All sandwiches made to order according to your specs marked on a bag that will ultimately house your lunch. Most sandwiches are $5.25. Hope the chain makes it to kc. Its weird wanting another chain near home...

Sandwich shop. Order by selecting different choices from the pre-printed paper bags. Supposedly 50 different combinations. Hand in the bag at the counter, pay and wait for your name to be called. You write your name on the bag. Had their signature sandwich The Wicked. Includes 5 meats (preselected - ham, turkey, roast beef, bacon and pepperoni) and a choice of 3 cheeses. Choose the type of bread you want - whole wheat or white. Then select from their wide assortment of condiments, veggies and add'l add-ons. It was a really good sandwich. Bread was fresh, soft, but held together. Price was right. Nice concept, well executed.

You can choose your own sandwich by checking your preferred stuff on a bag. This part is fun. But the sandwich itself is just ok. My bf had a shrimp sandwich, which is too salty and killed his appetite.

This is a nice sandwich place near the Mizzou campus. I had never seen one before (until I later saw one in Denver), but it's a pretty neat idea. You will see a bunch of sandwich bags on racks. You just grab a bag and mark what what you want on your sandwich. There are tons of options for cheese, sauces, veggies, etc. There are also suggested sandwiches that you can go with if you don't like to experiment. I believe that all the sandwiches are toasted unless otherwise stated. You write your name on the bag and then they call it out when ready. There are also good soda and tea options. If you're familiar with Potbelly's sandwiches and like them, I think you'll like it here. If you don't like Potbelly's, it might still be worth checking out because there are a lot more options at Which Wich.

I really like which which. You order your food on a paper bag, but there's lots and lots of options! I really enjoy the variety. I definitely prefer it to other fast-food type sandwich shops, and the service is always pretty fast!

Which Wich is a great place to get a warm, customized sandwich that is not too big and not too small, plus is a good price. Which Wich uses a great system where you choose your bread, cheese, meat, toppings, etc. beforehand on a piece of paper and then turn it into the cashier. Their sandwiches are great, too, and there are a lot of options. The milkshakes are good, too!

Not a bad place. Usually not too crowded. It's a chain, so you can find it pretty much anywhere. Service is good. Also, there's always an offer for a free cookie on the receipt, just by filling out an online survey. Take advantage of it-- the cookies are good! :)

I love the concept of the ordering system. Quick n fast ! However there was nothing quick in fast. Town was dead , Mizzou was playing Texas tech and there was only one other customer and she was eating already. My sandwich still took 10 minutes to make. I also ordered a milkshake that was supposed to be pumpkin . The food was ehh bland .. it was .....ok... I was eating it and seen the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on the side of my milkshake that states if I am unsatisfied for any reason I am entitled to a remake and or refund. So I was curious to see How serious it is , I approach the "Bench" (counter) and ask. I am told that its "mostly serious". At this point there is now 4 people huddled in front of me, making smurks and laughing at the fact that I was not satisfied. The general manager badgers me with questions and dirty looks and made me very uncomfortable and made it a unpleasant experience. I was credited a free sandwich after I went back up and tried to explain I didn't want a conflict. I will never eat here again!
