LSD is pretty solid for subs. Good bread baked fresh in como. The juicy burgers are more sloppy joe but if you like them go for it. One thing that is a negative is they close at 6pm. Being on east campus they really should be open late. The late night food options are zero on east campus and LSD could tottally take advantage of that.

Since there doesn't seem to be anyone reviewing as of late I thought I'd give everyone who has yet to go through the doors of the new LSD a bit of an idea of what to expect.. The quirky shop where juicy burgers were just one of many things you could purchase is completely gone. In it's place is what seems to be a shoddy campus snack shop trying to take itself a bit too seriously. They raised the prices, but don't you worry they upped the portions too. Not sure where their knowledge of Sloppy Joe's comes from but in my experience in many a cafeteria I have come to the understanding, the more slop you put on, the soggier it all gets. Another issue with this change, I loved LSD for the same reason many others did. I want a Flaming Penguin, a Nacho Burger, I want variety with my meal. But no I get the full effect of that wet pile of ground beef in the first half of a sandwich that I'm trying to support with one hand while the other hand is guiding the business end of this bad boy to my mouth to immediately liquefy into textured grease. If you're looking for the nostalgia, it's gone, if you're looking for cheap quick food you're minutes away from downtown where you can actually get quality food, the only reason I see to eat here is if you're too hung over to leave your East Campus hovel for more than 15 minutes.

I've lived in Columbia for 6 years and this was the first time I've been here. The juicy burger appears to be their specialty. Which is essentially a sloppy Joe with cheese and other burger toppings. Try it if you want a quick cheap taste of Columbia tradition!

I lived very close to LSD during one summer I stayed in Columbia. The chili cheese dog is delicious! The food is cheap and the place is small. I haven't been back since two summers ago, but from what I remember it was good!

I can't even count how many times I ate here when I lived in east campus. Lee Street Deli(LSD) is in this old house turned corner store turned restaurant. They have a bunch of sandwiches to choose from or you can make your own. They have quite the variety of cheeses, vegetables (artichokes!), and condiments so you can create the perfect sandwich. Their juicy burgers are very popular and cheap, along with their hot dogs and nachos. Breakfast is also available. Good chip selection and they also carry toiletry products, candy, cigarettes, condoms, notebooks, bottled beverages etc. Friday nights they reopen at 1am for the those with the munchies.

i'm ashamed to admit i've just been too lee street deli for the first after eight years in como. i'll definitely be back, despite the brodeo.
