Bengals is a lot of fun when you're in Columbia! They have a lot of space outside when the tent is up after a game. There is typically live music, which is a good time. On game days it's typically all college students. The worst part about coming here is getting a drink... I literally waited each time in line for a good 15-20 minutes. They had 2 full sized large bars inside set up, and two smaller ones outside. They were all packed!! So just expect for it to be like that if you're coming on a game day. There was also a 10 dollar cover... Which I think is a lot for college students!! All in all, it's a fun place to listen to music and get some drinks.

Had a terrible experience on a Friday night. It was after midnight and they still charged a $5 cover. The tent was fairly nice but was filled with smokers. Took forever to get service and the bar tender made the wrong drink and refused to fix them. Went to another bar tender and was refused service because I told the other bar tender I wasn't paying for or drinking the incorrect drinks she made. Floors, tables and bar were sticky and very nasty. Inside seemed small and the staff was incredibly rude. Will never go back and would advise people to go somewhere else since there are much better bars in town.

Went here twice by this point. Both times for lunch and so far very much enjoyed the meals. Like the atmosphere and friendly staff. Not giving them a 5 stars because the food was 4/5, just missing something but I would recommend it to everyone.

Went to Columbia for a Lacrosse tournament and came here when I got in town the day before to hang out with a friend of mine. I definitely had a huge wave of nostalgia roll over me since this is primarily a college town and the antics of college kids being drunk took me back to my days as an undergrad. The bar area is pretty large on the inside and they have plenty of draughts and TVs to keep people entertained. When I arrived it was about to thunderstorm and there were two or three parties going on for various things (21st birthdays I think). The patio was nice on the way in, but I definitely wasn't going to sit out there as it was about to thunderstorm and all. Apparently this place used to be called Big 12, but I guess since the Big 12 is all but gone they decided to change the name. We had a great time though and I forgot how cheap it was to drink in a college town. I'll be back next time I'm in town for sure.

it was okay, very LOUD, tables were not clean. Service was slow and food was at best.. typical. My food had been sitting a while before it got to me. It has a ton of TV's for sports viewing and the college community seems to love it. I'll pass next time around!

noisy, lots of underage drinkers, and not very clean - better places to go in Columbia

They have alcohol, a patio, and they weren't too busy. We ordered fries, and they were okay, but there was this huge glob of fries stuck together, and there weren't that many in the basket. The alcohol was ok, They served us reasonably quickly. Flatbranch was WAY too busy for a large group of grad students, so we walked over to Bengals and got seated right away. The inside looked pretty nice, but we hung out outside. No great deals or anything. A decent place to drink I guess.
