Delightful experience driving through Winona on a Saturday about 1pm. Many cars in the lot lured us in. For $8.00 we got an excellent buffet with a wide variety, a beverage, and dessert. About 20 selections to choose from and the ones I had were excellent.

Control yourself and go at the right time. Most of the negative reviews seem to have to do with overeating! It is all you can eat, and there are certainly plenty of healthy options. They serve fresh fruit and vegetable options in addition to many chicken and seafood dishes. I have never gotten sick from their food. The best times to go are around 1:00 and 7:00 because they do put out some leftovers from the previous meals when they first open. By these times more people have come and the food is coming out hot and fresh. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on this buffet. The soups are a bit bland but taste alright. MUST TRY dishes include teriyaki chicken on a stick, peanut chicken, fresh cooked green beans, and sesame balls. There are also more American options for kids like chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and pizza. The seafood is always good.

Back when I ate here, I always felt sick afterwards. It is all you can eat. But don't. Way too many horrors that I have seen personally. The worst dealt with a child leaving a wet yellow mess on a seat, which was wiped up, they then using the same rag wiped down the table. No. Just. No.

A lot of choices for food like most buffet places, but rather pathetic service. We got the bill 15 minutes after sitting down; only 1 napkin for the entire meal, not enough for eating ribs. Dumplings are probably hand-made, not from frozen, which is good. It's a family restaurant after all, so please don't expect much. Also, visa or master cards only, no cheques or discover card or AmEx.

This is your typical Midwestern Chinese food buffet. The food is alright, but if your expect something more this is not the place. If you want fast cheap chinese fare and bang for your buck you can't go wrong.

China King is great! They are out of town a ways, but it's worth the drive once in a while, or if you happen to be in that part of town. I used to go here frequently with friends in College. Good Times. I'd give them five stars, but they're so far out of town, you can only get there by driving.

We went to the buffet on Sunday night with a hungry college student. I was very disappointed by the food. Hardly any flavor to the food. Most deep fat fried. Soup was like sludge. Place was filled with very large people.
