I eat breakfast here often. they have a better selection then most places where you order at the counter. They also have a lot of healthy options. I don't think there coffee is very good. They also have a good salad selection

We've been here often and in early days were pleased. Quality and quantity have diminished, however. Buyer beware.

This is a standard Panera. The one thing I must comment on is that the portion sizes seem a bit smaller than other locations I have visited. I ordered a Pick 2 with a salad (to go), and the salad size was about half of what I expected from past experiences at other sites.

The food here is good, except for the four cheese souffle, which is available about 25% of the time that we go for breakfast. The service here is enough to knock this place down by three stars. For example, the cashier asked my wife if she wants a soda with her meal, and then walked away, apparently at just that moment deciding that going to get the souffle was more important than listening to the answer to the question he just asked. There have been similar incidents to this. For example, one time I asked if they had M&M cookies. The cashier walked away to go stare at the case for a minute or two - how that doesn't just take 15 seconds I don't know - and then comes back and says they do. So I say "Can I have two?" Then he leaves again to go get two. Would've known I needed two if he had just talked to me. The whole time I intended to get two cookies. Another issue is the crawling pace of the cashier lines. Often the line doesn't move at all for five minutes at a time, and as a result the line is halfway out the door. I've taken business classes so let me help you out here. At every business, you try to find the bottleneck and then fix that bottleneck so you can get more business. It's called throughput. The bottleneck here is always at the point of sale, and it gives people the option of leaving and buying nothing. Get the orders in, and then fulfill the order. This isn't complicated.

So today at 6:10 AM, I get to Panera. We had a wicked ice and snow storm the night before, Cashier Genevieve tells me they are short-staffed and it would take a few moments for my order. I get that, so I cut some slack. The roads were bad out there. I drink my coffee as I see Genevieve stock the shelves and the manager run around the restaurant. I'm the only customer in the place. Well, by 6:30, I go up and ask if they can just simplify my order so that I can catch my bus. Genevieve looks puzzled and goes to the kitchen to tell the manager. The manager then points up to the counter and says, "Your order is up there." No sorry about the way, no attempt to call out my name or check around the very empty restaurant to deliver my sandwich. I love Panera, but this service is not what I expect. It was worse than the icy roads this morning. I'd rather pay two dollars more and get good service at Starbucks. Sorry Rosedale Panera. I won't be back!

It was nice to get a table with access to plugs, but the internet was crawling. I had to switch to my own hotspot in order to get some work done. I do like that they offer a vegetarian black bean soup . . . it keeps me energized all afternoon! I'd like Panera even more if they offered oatmeal with soy milk for breakfast! And if they could speed up their cash register lines and coffee-making processes. They often have the same person taking the money who runs to get the pastries. I was traveling and I came here two mornings in a row. On the second day I just wanted a coffee to go. In fact, I showed up about 15 minutes early just so I could get a coffee, but I could tell the line was too long for me to get the coffee in time to catch the bus. Turns out I was able to get a Dunn Bros Coffee when I arrived at my destination and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they have organic soy lattes and faster processes. Next time I'm back in Minneapolis, I'll choose Dunn instead of Panera.

I love Panera. The smell of fresh bread. Delicious coffee. Amazing soups! This Panera is no different, in fact, it has the potential for greatness because it is open, roomy, and has a great vibe of people coming in and out. However, their internet is terrible! I can't spend the day working on my finals while eating soup in a bread bowl if I can access the assignments. I love you Panera, but it may be time for us to see other people.

This Panera is often messy with dirty floors, dirty tables you have to clean yourself, dirty chairs, etc. The staff is friendly and the food is pretty much like any other Panera, but they could use work on their cleanliness.

I am a fan of Panera... I frequent them often for work appts. One thing to note about this location, is that it is significantly quieter in the mornings. Lunchtime it is SUPER busy, and most tables are full. And as you can imagine, the mall parking is also better in the morning too. I love their soups - - and of course their pastries! If your not already of member of their frequent diner program, I'd recommend joining. It's free and you get lots of complimentary goodies.

Our family is a long time customer. Over the years we've frequented many Panera locations, some on a weekly basis. Recently we started to visit this location occasionally. So today while I was there, I asked the cashier to break 100 dollars. He said he couldn't do it without a purchase. After I pointed out that I did make a purchase a short time ago, he said he didn't have enough to make the change. After I asked for the manager, the manager said it was because his cashier couldn't open the cash drawer but that he (the manager) could and would break it for me. I thanked him but left with a bad taste. Why couldn't they tell the truth the first time around? Why all the other excuses? And if there was a mistake or miscommunication made, is it too hard for them to acknowledge it to a customer?

I like panera for a few reasons, 1st they are really quick which is great for workday lunches, 2nd prices are reasonable and 3rd they put the calorie count for everything on the menu right up on the board. This is my go-to spot when I need to eat something healthy, low calorie and don't have a lot of time to spend. I never ate here before because the word bread was in the title and i thought i was all carby fatty sweets but I was surprised they show all calories on the menu and many options are reasonable. They also offer you the choice of apple or bread as a side dish which I like. The menu changes up quite a bit too which is nice sometimes and sad others when your missing your recent favorite dish. I love their lemon orzo soup which isn't there anymore but I have seen it sold at target of all places, panera branded and all. If your counting calories, go for the half soup half sandwich with an apple. I love the chicken noodle with turkey sammie.. Filling and won't' dent your calorie or money wallet! Tip: get the panera free club card and you'll get all kinds of coupons and free stuff the more times you visit!

The perfect little place to go when meeting with someone. It's quiet in the mornings and cozy. I try not to go around noon, though - the place is extremely crowded during lunchtime and finding a table is less than pleasant. I usually order a salad because the quality of their lettuce is so good! And I love the croutons. Panera's soup is delicious, always warm and flavorful with interesting varieties. The staff are friendly, although during my last visit, the cashier was very quiet and I couldn't hear a thing she said, which ended up in an order mix-up. It was all good in the end, though. 4 stars, I'm a fan!

I used to frequent a Panera bread closer to my residence, but it closed. I've been to the Rosedale location a few times as a substitute, slash when running errands at the mall. I won't be returning. Twice, now, while waiting for my food, I had to listen to the loud staffers in the "kitchen" loudly gossip about work drama, including why someone got yelled at for removing too much pickle juice out of the pickle container because they think it's gross but the pickles are getting ruined. I'm pretty sure everyone in the entire, sprawling restaurant could hear about this pickle juice work drama. They continued to talk shit about their coworkers as they put the finished plates out, but didn't call anyone's names because the pickle juice story is apparently really long. This happened the last time I was here, too. I waited in line forever as two employees finished a conversation that was blatantly about another employee. Food was average Panera food, I suppose. I got a sandwich on one of my visits and it was sloppily made comprised of about 1/3 lettuce. Meh.

I'm a big fan of Panera bread and I like that's it's available at the mall. However it's located outside the mall in the new development. If you aren't at the mall and just want to Panera Bread, the mall parking makes it difficult. The staff was nice and the food quality and choices were great! Coffee is always hot!

I can't in good conscience give this place 5 stars, but only because of the price... It's very good food, the soups and salads are amazing, but in order to keep the price down you have to sacrifice flavor when it concerns the sandwiches... Which is really disappointing. I really loved what I had last night though! The Thai Chopped Chicken salad that I had was delicious! It was such a large portion, and all of the amazing veggies that were piled in it, as well as the dressing with a light kick! Thinking about it right now makes me want to go back to Panera for lunch today... Anyways, the restaurant is really clean looking, the staff is pretty friendly, the food is fair to excellent, and the coffee is really good! I won't make my way back to this particular location soon but that's really only because of how far away it is from my place... But the one in downtown is perfect for me! Honestly, for the people on here complaining about how the food is bland or whatever, I would encourage you to not order off the "cafe" menu and order stuff off the specialty lists. It has WAY more flavor and it's full of all the delicious organic ingredients that I've come to expect and love!

This visit was last years but never got around to do a review. It was my first and last Panera Bread visit. Let me tell all of you. It was loud just like another reviewer has said. Plus one of their staff members were extremely rude. You do not use that kind of tone to ask customers "EXCUSE ME!" then again by the looks of that employee she wasn't Panera Bread material. Food wasn't that great either...should have save $12 for something I could have waited to get home or Chipotle.

Panera bread is the same everywhere. "Hmm, I want coffee and I am kind of hungry." "Oh look! Panera!!" 10 minutes later............ "This coffee blows and this food is kind of mediocre." Yet, we all go again and again. It will do in a pinch. $9 for two small cups of coffee, a bagel and a nuked quiche. Woo.

I love Panera. This location is very busy and always jam packed. I eat a lot of salads and every salad I've had is awesome. I like they have added the calorie counts to the menu board. Keeps me and my husband from over eating. Also, happy they have added Aci berry iced tea. Yummy.

I love Panera. Truly. No one else I know really loves it. They think it's okay. My boyfriend doesn't like "liquid food" and thinks the sandwiches are too expensive. They are. I always get the soup. The french onion soup is entirely delicious. So damn salty, oniony and cheesy. Freaking heaven in a bowl, if you ask me. I also enjoy the baked potato soup. I just love soup in general. They have good, cheap soup. $4 for a filling meal is not bad, grasshoppah. Don't forget to get a chocolate duet cookie for an after meal dessert! They're amazing.

I'm really, truly surprised by the previous reviews for Panera! After several years of playing the field, sampling many of the menu items, I've settled on a favorite: the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad, French Baguette side, and a soda. The salad, huge, filling, with high-quality chicken, a light, tangy dressing, almonds, wontons, and cilantro. Mouth watering just thinking about it. The baguette--something I don't often indulge in--is fresh baked in-house; crispy outside, tender inside. Worth the carbs. With the soda, it comes to just over nine bucks. Since it's counter service, no tip, even. Sure, that's not what I'd want to spend on lunch every day, but an occasional lunch this good is well-worth nine dollars to me. And, as is usually the case, if I'm here meeting a friend for lunch, it's an outright bargain for three hours of catching up. Seven bucks for a cold sandwich (with pickle, and a choice of chips, apple or baguette on the side)? Well, these are big sandwiches, with high-quality ingredients and fresh-baked breads, and Panera has created many unique, tasty flavor and textural combinations. Too much for you? Well, go get your $3.00 sandwich somewhere else--it *is* getting crowded at Panera.

Average, run-of-the-mill sandwiches. The bread is pretty good, and I wouldn't mind buying a loaf of it. But the food is pretty average overall, the sandwiches are decent, ect. ect. It's nothing special overall, I don't mind coming here for a quick bite, but I certainly don't love it either.

What can you say? It's Panera so it's going to taste good, but it is obscene to pay $7.00 for a cold turkey sandwich. Plus getting around the one ways and finding a parking spot just stinks at Rosedale. And the place is just packed at noonish on a weekday. Argh. I am gonna have to be pretty hard up to come back here. Yeah - I just can't handle the cost of a freaking sandwich at this place. I didn't even have to buy and it still pissed me off.

I think panera does a pretty reasonable job with lunch. If you need to get in quick and out quick, this place does the job. Not much of an atmosphere, but ok. Especially with an impatient 2 year old.
