The best menu item is their original seven Chicago deep dish pizza. Absolutely great! (relatively greasy, but well worth the splurge of calories)

Fair food - heavy in the salt department. Pizza does not really come across as anything. I grew up in Chicago - so a chain that started in Boulder CO does not really know about real Chicago Pizza (which by the way is NOT deepdish!!!!) You need sauce and a crust. Then add a nice spicy sausage and a few other items and just the right amount of cheese - not mountains. Other fare tends to be cooked only one way - a couple of the burgers are fairly good. Seafood dishes are far from fresh. Libations - beer choices are rather mundane. Forget about any wine.

Nice atmosphere for a family-friendly sports bar. I would recommend the their calzones. They bake the dough perfectly, and the fillings are delicious. I've heard their pizzas are pretty good, and the hold true to the Chicagoan style, so I'll try that next time. Overall pretty good. Great value for the food. A little standard, but no complaints.

I've been to Chicago, but I sadly did not try Chicago-Style pizza. A friend from Chicago suggested I try this pizza. Very tasty pizza and now I'm a fan of Chicago-Style!

If you havent been to an Old Chicago, find one in your area and go. Always great atomosphere, great pizza, and great beer selection. This location is my hometown joint, my wife and I go every Friday night. The service is always great and timely, wait staff is extremely freindly. They know us by name and what we drink and what we order. They are extremely accomodating with my wife who is a vegetarian that changes everything she orders, and they do it with a smile. Go have a beer and some pizza and leave having a great time!

The only thing going for this place is the amount of beer that it has on tap. The food is terrible!! Do not get the hamburgers or you will be blessed with a something straight out of a box. Seriously, I ordered them for my kids and they were greenish in color. The beer is good and they have many great beverages to choose from. Atmosphere is good as well.

My husband and I frequent this Old Chicago on a regular basis. We have started calling it OCP (Old Chicago Plymouth) to make it easier. The staff is always awesome and the food (especially the pizza) rocks. Join the World Beer Tour and sample beers while earning cool prizes like t-shirts, coolers, etc. The mini-tours are also great- you drink between 8-15 beers (they give you a list) and then you get a t-shirt. My husband has done so many that I am going to make him a t-shirt quilt with all the shirts he has earned from the Mini Tours!

I like Old Chicago. Especially happy hour. Weekdays 3-6, and weekends (I think) noon to 6 has half off selected apps, and $3 personal pizzas. I like their pizza and they have decent (mild) wings, although their dressing needs a little help. All drinks are $1 off, and their strawbwrry margarita is damn good. Late night happy hour has $3 SURLY taps, $1 off beers/rails, a small selection of discount apps and $1 mini-one topping pizzas, which is very nice. They fit in your hand, but 2 of them is about the same as the personal pizzas, so one makes a lice little snack, or 3 makes a filling meal for most. Tuesdays they have pop culture trivia at 8. The bar gets busy for that. Service has been pretty good lately, and they seem to have fixed their airconditioning issue. There's a seperate bar and restaurant, plus a patio. The food is pretty good (American Itallian heavy menu) and they have good size, large portions.

A sports bar is not my scene but my father and I were desperate to find a place open at 10 pm. Wine was overpriced. $8 for a glass of no-name Pinot in a suburban restaurant in middle nowhere? I ordered a burger, substituting the fries with a side salad, which to my dismay was tiny and contained some brownish lettuce. Within minutes of finishing, the entire meal passed through me in one giant splash in the toilet. I think my body just wasn't used to all that grease. My father ordered chicken strips (deep fried) and fries. The strips were overcooked. The next morning he said the entire night he suffered stomach aches. I guess this place is fine for people used to greasy food. But what a waste to spend the time and money for a sit-down dinner and end up eating McDonald's. Everything is just fried "food" sliced and diced and frozen months ago, then topped with layers of cheap cheese. Anything that could count as nutritious, like a salad, is just a poorly done after-thought. I looked around and realized this place is truly the personification of the dumb American stereotype, for people who don't give a damn about their bodies - or their minds, judging from the incessant macho bravado playing on the TV screens.

My family and I came for dinner and really enjoyed it. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is good. We had the fried zucchini (all four of us were fans- 3 year old and 16 month old included). The boys split a kids pepperoni pizza. That was good, but it didn't come with a side (like fruit) we had to get a couple bowls on the side. Not terrible, but I kind of feel like all kids meals should include a fruit or veggie. For the adults, chicken artichoke pizza. Light and really flavorful. Definite fans of this place and will return.

Very friendly, capable service. Deep dish "Classic" pizza was tasty, with excellent sausage and golden crust. However, the parmigiana cheese mixed in with the mozzarella is a MISTAKE. My wife could not finish her thin crust pizza made with assiego cheese overpowering the mozzarella cheese. Pizza should be made with mozzarella cheese only -- not "stinky" cheese. We will go back, as our waitress told us we can order pizza with mozzarella only. The base pizza is good.

Okay, it's a two star review, and it's not that Old Chicago has ever been bad. It's just never been more than decent. The pizza's are OK, but there are so many better pizza joints in the area. The beer list is extensive, which is really cool, but I prefer quality over quantity. My biggest gripe is that this seems to be the local Packer bar. I spent two years living within miles of Lambeau and I love Wisconsin.. but geeze, there's more to life than Green and Gold. Listening to a bunch of drunk Packer fans screaming at the TV's in the dining room one Sunday afternoon (not the bar mind you, the main dining area) just took the joy out of the place for me and my family. We've been back once or twice for lunch in the off-season (because we had a gift card), but the fact is, no one in my family has ever requested Old Chicago for a meal.

I was very impressed with the exceptional service and hospitality of the staff at old Chicago. I've had dinner at many of their locations and I can honestly say that I've never been treated better! I had ordered an entree that they had ran out of. The manager while delivering my meal said that my dinner was on them for the inconvenience. Then when my bill came it wasn't taken off so I asked the manager if there was a mistake and he was very apologetic and gave me my beer for free as well for the mix up. BIG PROPS TO THE MANAGER!!!!!

I've completed a beer tour here, my name on the wall...(will go there soon to post the pic) at 7 bucks an average tall beer, spent 770 bucks on this tour..this little kid of a bartender with thick black glasses, that was a server, with NO experience bar tending, picked up shifts bar tending as soon as all the regular and experienced bar tenders quit within the last 3 years..because of new management...and because the little kid with thick brimmed black glasses refused to serve me because my ID was bent a little on the upper corner, i demand a refund of all the money I spent to get my name on the wall... To Old Chicago in Plymouth: you guys are pretty much a bunch of hacks...I know you like to show off with overpriced non-Chicago-like pizza, but please stop trying to drive a Cadillhack, because Gene Hackman called and wants it back...bunch of kids bar tending here at Neverland Ranch, Michael Hackson called and moon danced the hell outta this place when they allowed amateur hour for open mic night at Old Chicago...

Food is consistently good, service is OK. They never honor the $2.00 off coupon on yelp. Why run a coupon if you're not going to honor it?

Great beer selection and good food! I love their happy hour as well, with good prices and a big selection. Good place just to hang and have a few brewski's :)

The beer for the past few visits (over the last few months) has been very limited as far as dark brews go. Light, fruity, and hoppy beers are in abundance. The $2 pub pizzas are a steal during Happy Hour, though. Just very dissatisfied with the lack of dark beer. Actually, there are currently ZERO dark beers on either the draft or bottle rotator lists. Two-dozen shit beers and not anything decent. What BS.

Parking was terrible. Although this isn't necessarily Old Chicago's fault, it will make me rethink whether I ever go to this location again. The Chicago Fire pizza wasn't at all spicy (sad face), but overall decent experience once we got a server!

Fantastic Beer Selection & AMAZING Pizza!

Typical pizza/beer joint with standard American fare as well, with most food better than typical bar food but otherwise unremarkable. Expect most entrees to be well over 1,000 calories, with many pizzas at 400-600+ calories per slice and some dishes such as Italian nachos at over 2000 calories per order. Location is family friendly, and has a sizable bar that used to serve food until 12:30 A.M. every day, but now closes at midnight. Prices continue to climb following Old Chicago's recent acquisition by CraftWorks restaurants, and their hedge fund owners Centerbridge Capital Partners. Still an ok place to grab a beer, but with BW3, Lucky 13, Cowboy Jacks, and other nearby competition in the beer and bar food market improving their offerings, Old Chicago no longer stands out. A recent visit included two pints of Paulaner costing $6.25 each - not competitive, even in the western suburbs.

Can I give this 1 star? The food here is completely different than just six months ago, and in my opinion, not for the better. Using the last of my giftcards and not coming back unless they change back their menus.

My buddy and I and my wife were looking for a good lunch on a Saturday. Old Chicago, the best chain restaurant ever, was the choice. I ordered the happy hour chicken pizza and my wife got a no cheese pizza with broccoli and basil. They were both fantastic. My friend got the pepperoni rolls and jerk chicken wings, which were all half price. They all looked amazing. The Halloween mini tour was in place, and the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat was in bottle form, which was kind of goofy, but overall the service was awesome. Overall, it was a great lunch with a friend and my wife that gets a rare 5 stars.

Food was meh. I ordered the Original 7 individual pizza and my gf ordered the Thai Pie individual. I tried both and found them both to be lacking in the flavor department. Both lacked any identity and it was a big disappointment. On the other hand, their kitchen closes at 12am which is a lot later than 99% of the kitchens out there especially in Plymouth. I work 2nd shift so it was nice to know that I could still get a bite to eat with a cold beer attached. Our waitress, T**a, was fantastic! She was energetic and passionate and she had a lot of helpful suggestions that came with a warm and genuine smile. Hard to argue with that kind of service. Will be coming back in hopes of a better meal...and the hopes that T**a is working that night.

This is a family-friendly classic American restaurant, very casual. They have a nice selection of beers on tap. Their deep dish pizza is really well done, the BBQ chicken is my favorite. They also have trivia on Tuesday nights if you sit in the bar area, which is really fun (teams of 3!).

I absolutely love the staff there and very accommodating!!! I want to give a special shout out to a server named Derek from Syracuse :). He was very friendly and such a sweetheart to me and my husband Nick. It was nice getting to chat with him about hockey and he always made sure we were well taken care of! Thank you for the awesome cookie dessert btw ;)!! You are excellent at what you do keep it up! We love Old Chicago great food, great people, great atmosphere!!
