Great lunch! Bartender/ server were super nice and gave us great service. I had the Apple Brie Burger and sweet potato tater tots. Very good! Nice atmosphere amd a nice outdoor patio.

Hardly have any vegan or vegetarian options in food. Whatever they have is also not good. Waitress was not putting any effort in telling the menu or what's special. Not friendly staff. Location is not great either.

Nope! If you can't poor a Guinness correctly you have no respect from me. Won't be back.

We were just there during the NCAA tournament. The TV in front of us was some MMA replay so we asked for TNT, which was showing the only game in the second half. Instead they put it on TBS, which was the early stages of a 1/16 matchup. Then we noticed that the 1/16 was showing on something like 12 of their other 14 TVs and none of them had the other NCAA game. We could have asked for a change but shouldn't a place called Scoreboard have a better handle on managing sports on tv?

Over priced. We decided to be stupid and got 2 jagerbombs. They were $15. If I had known they charge that much for alcohol we would have waited and hit up the liquor store next door. Steak was meh and also over priced. Potatos are good though. Dont think I would go back.

All you need to know: Tonka Chips Angry Orchard on tap If you are looking for food smothered in cheese and bacon and such, Scoreboard is for you. They have a really nice Happy Hour, that goes later than normal, 7pm. If you find yourself here during HH, do yourself (but not your waistline or arteries) a favor and order the tonka chips - hand cut chips smothered in cheese and bacon. My companions had the chicken and pot roast sliders and were very satisfied, too. The nachos were also consumed at our table and the meaty cheesy delicious chips were a hit as well. I am not a beer drinker, so I typically have a hard time finding something 'cheap' to drink, but they have Angry Orchard on tap! There are plenty of TVs around the bar to watch the game of your choice, they seem to have a couple channels going, they are not the same all around. Service can be hit or miss as far as speed goes, but I have never had anyone rude. Also, there is free ice cream and popcorn and they take Discover Card. I only wish they had pulltabs, that would give Scoreboard 5-stars.

Great food at a reasonable price! Also a nice home town friendly bar if you just want to have a drink.

Sweet potato tots were good and warm with season sour cream. However, I asked for a steak sandwich medium. I received it very well done and no flavor... I guess it's open faced but prefer it not to be. I was just disappointed.

Checked this place out last night for the first time and will definitely be going back. Great service from a genuinely attentive and friendly staff. Had the black and bleu tuna steak sandwich which is maybe my favorite sandwich on the planet, so I'm a harsh critic and have modified expectations for sports bar fare. This might be the best kept sandwich secret around. 10oz cut perfectly seared...for $9.50!? I'd easily pay double (don't get any ideas). It was trivia night and the trivia host just came over and started setting up his equipment at our table without asking...he went as far as to say we would have to move soon (mind you the staff did not mention anything to us). This was pretty annoying but I was willing to still leave happy as the food, atmosphere and prices were so good. A manager (who stopped by earlier to check on us and I wish I could remember her name because she was awesome) must have noticed and came by and apologized....even dropped off a couple of gift cards. This could have made for a bad experience but her kindness and professionalism made the experience memorable. I have and will recommend. Can't wait to come back and watch some games. Great job....I have never written a restaurant review before.

It's a sports bar and grill and that is what you get, think Applebee's and Chili's with sports on TV to compare. You will find very few healthy dishes here, but that is not why people go here. Lots of fried foods and meat dishes to go with your drinks. It is a good place to for groups after work, but this also means it is not a quite place to eat or a good place for a date.

Really? Bloody Mary included with my breakfast. That's awesome! Loved the chicken fried steak and eggs

A good 'ol standby place. Can't really go wrong. It's a local non-chain sports bar with decent food, friendly service, nice bartenders. I could only wish for more local/craft brews. The soup and salad bar are always good. And free ice cream machine included! yes, I'm 42 but I love that. It's the kind of place you can take your parents to dinner or meet friends for happy hour--a nice mix of people. Have liked the recent addition of the outside patio over the last couple of summers.

Went there for brunch, the only thing worse than the food (well over done poached eggs, plastic overfried, re-heated hash browns) was the service. Had to ask for the complimentary drink that came with my meal , to which the response with an attitude was " here is your freebie". Meal came with the toast, she forgot the toast then someone else brought it out saying it was not included with my meal and charged me extra for it ( first waitress as well as the menu said it was) . horrible food, horrible service. Not coming back!

It never ceases to amaze me whenever I find a restaurant like Scoreboard which manages to have just about every type/style of food available. Seriously...one look at their menu and you might be a bit overwhelmed with all the different choices. The menu runs the global cuisine gambit from Mexican (fajitas, tacos, nachos, etc) to Italian (pesto ciabatta & bruschetta) and finally Asian (teriyaki & thai peanut). You can also choose from their salad/soup bar or just grab a burger and fries. Luckily, I just came here for brunch so my options were limited to breakfast options. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was good and also came with a screwdriver (nice way to start off a Sunday morning). The service was good but a bit slow as the place was packed with football fans. Your meal also includes a trip to their soft serve machine which isn't anything to write home about, but hey, I'm not one to turn down free ice cream.

Living so close, I really should have visited this place more, but every time I go it's such a meh experience. Food is nothing to write about, service hasn't been the best and they never seem to have any drink specials (maybe I just have gone at the wrong time) I do see that they have a new patio, maybe I will go and check it out

While working out of town in the area, this was one of the more reasonably-priced places I could find near my hotel to get a bite to eat and a beer or two. I found the food to be pretty good, though nothing to write home about (I had a Cuban sandwich w/ Fries), but I would certainly have it again, if I was in the mood. When I walked in, there were waiters all over the place, but nobody manning (or womanning, as the case may have been) the host stand. Luckily for them, I was just in the mood to sit at the bar with open seating, but coming from a restaurant background, I was a little disappointed at the empty stand. My bartender was very friendly, and great to chat with, but she didn't know bumpkus about many of the beers that they had on tap. Being from out-of-state there were a few local brews on tap that I was unfamiliar with, however she was unable to give me any kind of insight into what they tasted like, let alone what STYLE of beer they were (IPA, Lager, etc). To make up for it, though, she DID give me samples of a few until I came across one that I liked. So to wrap up, Scoreboard is about what you expect from a sports bar, maybe a bit better, but still in the same playing field. The atmosphere and the crowd were more friendly and willing to strike up a conversation than other places of a similar style. Nothing blew me away one way or the other. If you are in the area, and in the mood for a sports bar, I think you can hardly go wrong with Scoreboard, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here.

Sorry, but mediocre food at best. Service has never been great, but they have a lot of TV's for football season. So 3 stars.

Unfortunately we live nearby.... Moving soon! My husband and I enjoy going out for happy hour however this place fails in service every time we are at the bar! The bartenders are sooooooo rude! Soooo hard to leave a tip but we do. The bartenders must think you can not hear! They make derogatory comments about customers behind the bar! This was a sloooow night and we had to beg to get a beer and place an order! Sorry we were such an imposition!

I'm a bit torn at what to give for a rating. I've been here a handful of times, typically for late afternoon/early evening happy hours. First few times we had good service with good, typical bar food. Nothing outstanding, but it was very solid with good HH prices. Last time was a different story. Service was especially slow for the first hour we were there. Then it got worse.... I wanted an actual meal so I thought I'd try the fish tacos. I'll cut to the chase. These were about the worst looking and tasting things I've ever received, anywhere. Before I even took a bite or said anything, multiple from my group looked at them with a rather confused look on their face. The fish looked like steak fries that had been on the floor for about a week. In fact, that's exactly what they looked like. Didn't taste much better than that, either. I sent them back. I never send food back. I didn't say anything further and the server didn't charge me for them after I ordered something much more basic. So I was happy with that at least. All in all, it is a great place for HH. Free popcorn. Good drink & app specials. I would have given them a solid 3-3.5 prior to my last visit. We'll see what the future holds.

Went here for the first time over the weekend. I was very pleased! Our server was very friendly and prompt. Our drinks were always kept full. I had the patty melt. Perhaps one of the best patty melts I've ever had. My girlfriend had the spinach chicken alfredo at the recommendation of the server... VERY GOOD!!!

I was drawn to this place by the crappy reviews. I've found that I have a taste of crap food and terrible beer. I walked directly to the bar and sat down. I was disappointed as the seat was clean. The bar tender approach me and asked me what I'd like to drink. He was friendly. Blast!! I still have this place at 5 stars! I ordered an IPA. The local brew is called Saga. I was extremely disappointed because it tasted good with a nice hoppy flavor and it was a clean pour!! I ordered the chicken wings. I like em hot. HOT!!!! That's what I ordered. While waiting the bar tender asked me if I wanted another beer. I said SURE! The wings then came out. So as I said, I like em HOT!! I had the first one and I had 3 after that. Then my brain registered the pain. My head started to perspire profusely and my tongue became aware of somebody putting hot coal on it. However I'm a MAN!! I had to finish these cause I asked for HOT and that what they obviously served me. I got through to the 8th wing and by that time the people around me were making their "poor bastard" glances. The saliva from my tongue was so extreme that I couldn't put in number 9 as I knew I wouldn't be able to chew it. These wings were HOT!!! I have NEVER left a hot wing on my plate but I left TWO on this plate. I was devastated! Habanero sauce was the cause of my pain. The bar tender punched the air due to my failure. Wanker!! To all of the people who wrote bad reviews, you obviously didn't have the wings. Or maybe you did! Disappointed you didn't eat them all eh? No problems, cool the heat with a decent IPA next time, just like I did. Fantastic service and a good social atmosphere. For anyone who is a hot wing nutcase like me, this is the place to come. Phew!!

I have been a fan of Scoreboard's food and vibe for many years. And, it is still great. That is--if you want casual dress and food and don't take your sense of worth from being among those who are other than 'regular people.' That said, you will see high priced cars in the parking areas, but find down to earth people and food within. Bet bets: BLT Pizza; Chicken flatbread; Buffalo Wings [they make their own sauces]...but don't venture to the 'atomic' unless you can really take hot! Bruchetta is good, Thai chicken is good. A wide variety of sandwiches and entrees. Did I mention that you can pull yourself a soft-serve DQ-style cone after you eat??? Great for every day eats, and great happy hour deals M-F 3-7.

Well the Scoreboard has not learned yet how to serve a hamburger that is not raw and cold inside. My roomate ordered from there today and his hamburger was raw and cold!

Looking for a simple burger and sports, decent place. Our table had to return hamburger due to it being under cooked. The server came and picked it off the plate, it was then returned on the original bun. When I asked the manager if he gave us the original burger back (with bites taken out) he was stumped on how to answer. She bit out of it, and it was put on the grill in the kitchen. Grossed us all out. Not to mention the stairs in this place (just the few of them) are rather tricky. An eldery woman fell on her face and started to bleed right in front of us (the hostesses could have easilt avoided the stairs, but chose the lazy around the restaurant) management only called 911, and did nothing to intervene. People from our table saw the women in distress and provided aid. Servers stepped over the woman to get to their compute and continue to serve food as blood gushed from her face. We had to seek mgmt to get a towel and ice to help stop the bleeding. They were no help. After the ambulance left with the lady, the manager cleaned the blood up with his foot and shoes. We work right next to this place and eat her once a week, needless to say, we won't be back until new mgmt is hired.

I used to come here after work frequenty when I worked in EP. Nice service and people. Pretty good bar food. Lunch dinner is ok too, but really better place to grabs some beers and eat some deep fried finger food.

I dig Scoreboard because they call it like it is. They don't try to be anything else other than a great local hang out with decent food, beer, and service. We tend to drop by SB after our weekly softball games. I traditionally get some chicken tenders, a pitcher of beer, and hang out on the patio. I'm most impressed with their service. Their waiters and waitresses are always super attentive and have become good friends of ours. Highly recommended if you want to grab some wings and drink a beer while watching a game.

Overpriced and food is just average. Nothing special, items at the salad bar don't change often and watch out for waiters/waitresses short change when you paying cash.

I always get good food, drink and service when I am there. I like the overall environment and I can't wait to check out the newly expanded patio! The brunch menu was smaller than I like, but you can't beat the free bloody or mimosa that comes with it!

Came to scoreboard during happy hour with coworkers and it was pretty packed with other people who looked like they skipped out of work early to down drinks. They seem to have a variety of appetizers and selection of beer. They even have bar games- I've never seen these before. There's TV screens all around and the crowd is pretty mixed in age. i would recommend this place to single people if they are looking to "score" Scoreboard has sufficient parking and the prices are decent. I think I was there from 5:30- 9 and had way too much to drink.

I've been going to Scoreboard once or twice a year for the better part of a decade. It's a little out of the way for me, but I'm never disappointed. A friend and I always go there when we're looking for a casual place with sports on the TV's and good food and beverages. It has a great feel when you walk in there, and service/ambiance is not sacrificed when you decide to eat in the bar. The place has a nice mix of after work people, families, softball teams, etc. It's not a quiet environment, but not too loud either. The food is better than most bar/restaurants, and the portions are generous. If you're going to glean one thing from this review - their salad bar sets them apart! I always pay the extra couple of bucks to hit the salad bar for salad, pastas, soups, and soft serve for dessert. Then I typically get a box with my meal so I can take half home. Then lunch is already made for the next day, huzzah! Stop on into Scoreboard for a very nice, casual experience.

Scoreboard is one of our standby's when we are trying to decide where to eat! We usually go pre-dinner crowd and find a seat at the bar. The bartenders a friendly and the service is very good. The food is adequate for the price and the Tonka Chips are probably our fav. They have a good Happy hour with 1/2 price apps.

This is where I go when I want a neighborhood bar and grill feel with pretty solid pub food. A few of my favorites (in no particular order...) 1.Ribs 2. Hot wings 3. Gin and Tonic 4. Burgers 5. Ice cream buffet....with an assortment of sprinkles. The service is always mediocre, but the food arrives pretty quickly and the prices are great.

Gotta go with the flow on some of the previously mentioned "mehs." Scoreboard is a generic neighborhood bar/restaurant serving generic food. That said, it's a "must visit" when passing thru, because you never know what will happen on any particular night. It attracts a diverse crowd, ranging from possible meth addicts, to extended families, to blue collar folk to an occasional suit and tie from the local business park. They sport a decent beer selection, highlighted by a few fine local brews, and all the other mass produced swill. Nice, salty popcorn, and a frightening salad bar with the requisite dirty sneeze guard and obligatory MN hot dish. It's a unique experience, but one worth going back to again and again.

This place is nice and casual, great to grab a beer after work. This place is near Jimmy's and it is its blue collar cousin. Bar food is good and their happy hour specials are until 7:00. I especially like the baskets of popcorn and the soft serve ice cream.

This was my first and last time at this establishment. We just moved to the neighborhood and thought we would try this restaurant since it was so close to where we live. We happened to go during their happy hour so we ordered 3 items off the 1/2 priced appetizer menu. After finishing 2 of our 3 items we had some of the hot wings left over. We asked to get a box to take the rest of our wings home THAT WE PAID FOR. They refused to let us box them. I felt like they were my parents trying to "teach us a lesson" not to order so much food (which wasn't even the case anyway). The manager got involved and instead of having good customer service and letting this time slide because we were new to the area, she refused and told us if we wanted to take them home we would have to pay full price. That wasn't an option because the wings were not very good to begin with and they were served to us cold (maybe they reuse all the leftovers and serve them to their customers which is why they were cold - this would explain why they would have a hard time letting us take them home). I asked both the waitress and Manager what they do with the food since we were not allowed to take home the food WE PAID FOR, and they said they throw it away. WHAT A WASTE! Not only did they waste our money, but I can only imagine the amount of food they end up wastefully throwing away because of this ridiculous rule. I have never been to an establishment where I was not allowed to take home my food...even at another happy hour with 1/2 priced apps. Instead of using this situation and gaining new customers and more clientele (through word of mouth - which is the best marketing tool), they lost new customers. We will be sure to let everyone know the type of place this is and instead of recommending this place to our friends, we will instead encourage them not to go!
