My husband and I (and our son) love DQ birthday ice cream cakes. This store makes very nice decorations on them and (manager or employee?) Scott is very helpful. We come back regularly there.

I'm not a huge fan of soft and cold sandwiches, I'm Vietnamese and grew up only knowing that all sandwiches should taste like banh mi's. For my quirky taste in bread and meat, this place has does have amazing sandwiches. It's not the quickest place to stop for lunch, the menu/ordering process isn't the easiest, but the staff is friendly, bread is tasty and ingredients are fresh! If they have the salted caramel cookies in stock, get them (plural), it will be the best piece of advice you've gotten from yelp. Do it.
I love when the holiday season is so crazy I can just call up and order ahead. When I arrive, my bread is waiting for me and I get out the door quickly! Everyone is very nice and greets you. The kid working on Wednesday before Thanksgiving kept apologizing for taking a little longer but I get it, tis the season! They have th best monster cookies you've ever eaten and a good variety throughout the year so I can show up at events with a couple choices and everyone is happy.
My grandma would kill me for paying $5 for a loaf of bread. Was hoping for 'excellent', received just 'good' instead.

Quetopia is my go to place for everything BBQ. As a competitive BBQer and someone who grills out most every day, it is great to have a local place where I can get rubs and sauces that aren't available otherwise. I also bought my daily use grill there, the Kamado Joe - love it for steaks and pizza. Tony and Guy are great resources for any BBQ questions you have as well!

Ham’s Sandwich Shop

14200 Wayzata Blvd,Ste P

Reviews:
The food here is great! I found this place on accident but have been twice now and loved it both times. The biggest negative is that there isn't a public bathroom, or at least there isn't one attached to the customer area, but now that I know I plan ahead. Go here, get a sandwich, be happy.
Hi Patti, I appreciate you writing. I had the Cubano. Like I said, I would certainly choose you over that other place a few doors down. But the service was curt and the sandwich and atmosphere were very plain. To me, a non-chain shop like yours really needs to lean into the personal touch. The very thing that makes you different is the ability to make it your own. I feel that in any restaurant where I can easily make the product at home, what's going to bring me back is style. Decor, furniture, service items, and staff are your competitive advantage. I just don't see you doing anything special. Sorry. Continued success. Respectfully, David
In my experience, the quality of a sandwich depends primarily on the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Ham's nails it. My sandwich, the Unforgettable, was nearly perfect. (I would have gone a little easier on the cream cheese, but that is my only criticism.) The veggies were all very fresh and ripe, the bread was impeccable, and sauces well-proportioned. My two dining companions felt similarly about their sandwiches. The serving staff were all friendly and helpful, and they were patient with our group being a little slow to order. (The menu can be a bit overwhelming if you've not been there before.) The decor isn't fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely stop in again if I'm in need of lunch in the Minnetonka area. An interior update would easy put this shop into 5-star territory.

The Marsh

Reviews:
Love The Marsh! The exercise rooms are well equipped and best of all, not crowded. The therapy pool is a great way to relax after a work out. The locker rooms are well appointed and clean. The minute you step through the door there is an ambience of quiet energy. The restaurant is open to the public as well as the gift shop. I hosted an event for 80 people and was delighted by the ease of event planning and quality of the service.
There is a little known fact that the Marsh is also a hotel with a few rooms and when you are a guest here you have access to the entire facility and that makes it an outstanding and extremely relaxing experience: lap pool, therapy pool, fitness center with no noise and no TV, meditation tower.....The entire place is set to be a relaxing noise free retreat to isolate you from today's crazy world. Worth the experience.
The Marsh's setting is absolutely beautiful! I love to sit in the solarium, sip tea, and read a trashy magazine, while I enjoy the view! The facials and massages are truly amazing! This place is quiet, relaxing, and worth every penny!

Jimmy John’s

Reviews:
I love this Jimmy John's! I used to go there so much that I would walk in the door and they would know exactly what I was about to order. I'm a huge fan of the employees there because they remember who I am and always make polite conversation with me :)
In my never-ending (for the last 3 weeks) quest to patronize every single franchise joint, and there appears to be an inexhaustible supply, in Eden Prairie, Jimmy John's is a go-to spot for the office. So, it's impossible for me not to sample the wares when invited by new office crew. Verdict... It's fine. I won't drool when when someone asks, but I also won't make up an excuse not to go. The bread is better than Subway and the fixings are well proportioned and portioned. The ingredients can always be better at a joint like this, but they're fine. They make the sandwiches so fast it's almost not-cool. I want it to breath on the counter a bit before it lands in my hands... I mean, it's almost like they knew what I wanted before I did... Spooky.

Panera Bread

12967 Ridgedale Drive
Minnetonka, 55305
Reviews:
I am a Panera Bread fan, this has one of the best customer service, and one I frequent quite a bit and they remember me! Alex, the manager here is one of the best Panera Bread managers, he is always going around making sure everyone who eats here is happy. Also, there is always someone cleaning and making sure the table areas are clean for the next customer. Nice comfy layout, too... you can never have bad seating here.
This is my favorite Panera location. The only thing that could make it better is if they had a drive-thru (which I hear the new Knollwood location will have...) There is always plentiful parking and rarely a long line. My favorite thing about Panera is that they list the calories on the menu, you can make an informed decision. I think I have tried almost everything on the (adult) menu, as well as several bakery items. With their "pick two" combo, there are so many different combinations that you could probably eat here for an entire week without having the same meal. My summer go-to is the Strawberry Poppy seed Salad, it is superb. My winter go-to is the Wild Rice soup. Quick Tips: Always get the french baguette - delicious. Sign up for their rewards card for freebies on your birthday and other discounts for menu items throughout the year. The more you dine, the more rewards you receive.
.I'm a big fan of Panera Bread. I love their soups, salads, sandwiches and especially their macaroni and cheese (yum!). Service is generally quick and the food is consistently good. This location gets very busy during lunch time, so be sure to secure a place to sit as quick as you can.

Christos Greek Restaurant

15600 Hwy 7
Minnetonka, 55345
Reviews:
Finally, delicious and reasonably priced Greek food! The atmosphere was wonderful. Food was fresh and flavors were inviting. I was surprised by the very reasonable prices compared to other local Greek restaurants of its caliber. We had lunch on the outdoor patio. The patio is cozy and well landscaped for a romantic dinner for two or fun time out with friends. As for me, I was there for just a casual business day lunch and loved it. The indoor seating looks great too with a solarium kind of feel. The biggest set back I see is location. It's a little tricky to get to the right road. I hope others give this restaurant a try. It's so hard to find restaurants with good food at reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere.
Christo's is a great place. I have eaten there about 15-20 times since they opened, and, while I have not tried everything on the menu, pretty much every dish I have tried has been delicious. The spanikopita and hummus are the best I've had in restaurants, as is the melinzanosalata (sp?), but the tavas has to be my favorite entree. Every dish, from the tender, juicy, flavorful lamb stew that is the tavas, to the simple but phenomenal side dish of cooked carrots with dill, is well-prepared, flavorful, and pleasing. The one dish I have tried but do not care for is the falafel, which I find to be too dry. That is too bad, yes, because I love good falafel, but with so many other options (including delicious wood-fired pizzas!), I always leave Christo's satisfied.
Christos is a neighborhood gem. I have eaten there many times and the food is always tasty and consistent. Great place for lunch as well as dinner. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.
