Took a trip out to this bar for a long-lost friend's birthday, and I was mildly surprised! Being more of a downtown/club guy, pulling up to what appeared to be a trashy sports bar in a weird suburb wasn't what I'd normally be doing on Friday night.. However, when I walked in I saw that the place was HUGE! There was seating everywhere (but don't lean back on the small tables, they don't support your weight), a bunch of pool tables, and friendly staff. Got a two-for-one on my beers, and a free shot of something from the server. Wooo!! I doubt I'll be in Fridley anytime soon, but if I am I might just have to stop by.

Service was good- food was not up to past visits. The kids spaghetti smelled and looked great though. The Groupon made it much easier to stomach the cost - prices seem to be higher and quality seems to have tanked. Might give it another chance sometime.

Lots of pool tables, they also have UFC nights. Even know there is a lot of TV's to watch it on, the TV's just plain suck. Some are old, other stretched out picture and there was pixelation about every 10 seconds on all the TV's which makes watching UFC not so great. Now this a pool hall so that isn't the primary draw here but since they do offer other things that was one of the reasons I went. Bar is ok, nothing special. On a positive note the beer glasses were chilled. Come if you like to play pool, go somewhere else if you are just looking to hang out at the bar.

Free drinks no more :( They took away the Monday night guys drink free from 9 to 11 and replaced it with $10 buys you a cup to drink from 9 to midnight. It was definitely poorly executed as well. I don't even think the waitresses knew what was going on. There were 6 pool tables that had free pool on them however. Also I ordered some cheese curds and the breading was nice and light. They were cooked to perfection. The marinara sauce was one of the best I've had in a while too. I soooo wanted to take away a star because of the free drinks thing, but decided against it mainly because they kept the free pool, have decent food and the service is still good.

This place is named 2 stooges and the 3rd is a hot headed bartender named CHAD who hates anyone in the military. I have never been to an establishment that was more rude in my life! Went to the bar and was asked by the bartender for an ID which is fine because they didn't have a bouncer at the front door. But when showing my ID, which was a military ID, I asked why they didn't just have someone at the front door checking and stamping hands. I was never rude with my comment or anything... just small talk with the bartender while he checked. The reply from CHAD the bartender was a snotty, "Did you see a bouncer at the door?!" I said "no, but I just thought it would be a little easier..." I ordered the drinks at 905 according to my phone and they had a drink special starting at 9 so the special should be applied to the drinks...it wasn't. So I asked about the special and he replied it just turned 9 according to the clock on the computer which was followed by a I don't care if your military or not... screw the military... I never once pulled the I'm in the military card. Then I told him I didn't want any special treatment for anything I just showed an ID. He followed that by yelling to the bouncer that I was drunk and that he wouldn't serve me because I was too drunk... Remind you this was our first round of drinks! I calmly told him I wanted to speak to his manager which really made him mad and he started yelling about me being drunk more! I'll admit that made me mad and I said what are you talking about?? The bouncer was confused himself! The manager came over and defused the situation and told him to charge us the special which he should have first off or told us to wait 2 minutes... Sorry for such a long review but this is NOT a place anyone should want to go with a hot headed bartender that feels entitled to say whatever because he is the bartender... Yet alone saying screw the military for no reason! Think twice about this place! Go down the road to Pickle Park!

This is one of those bars that you go to when you honestly have NOTHING better to do... it's like a VFW for middle-aged people that have never left Minnesota. I did once enjoy their bloody mary bar during football games on Sunday mornings, and I used to really enjoy their food as well! But alas... all good things must come to an end, and this place has gone so far downhill since I started going that I just can't bear the thought of returning... The food is still good don't get me wrong... but the patrons that hang out here (the 'locals') mixed in with the typically snotty wait staff... it's insulting. If I reviewed this place on only it's atmosphere it would most assuredly get 0 stars... but as I said the food is still pretty good, and the drinks aren't wholly unreasonably priced... But to enjoy being here you really have to like listening to people (wrongly) quote scripture, talk about their new trailer, use racial stereotypes/epithets, use socially unacceptable terms for other minorities (religious/lifestyles), and most of all you have to really enjoy listening to the wait staff talk about other tables they "can't stand" while they treat you like shit too. No thanks... I'll go a little ways down the road to Pickle Park for a slightly better time.

My name is Rhyelle and I recently had the misfortune of being dragged to this grungy pool hall in the middle of NOWHERE. It was my friends 21st birthday and she chose the place. I had never even heard of it before so I punched it into my gps and headed out with high hopes. First the parking lot is really strange to find and had no parking. Our server came to our table about once every hour and we missed out on all the specials we originally came for. When we asked to see a manager it took her 45 min to arrive and then proceeded to tell us she had only worked there a few days and had no idea how to handle our complaints. We cashed out as soon as we could, which unfortunately took another hour to process our cards because their machines are dreadfully slow according to our waitress. We finally left to NEVER return. Do NOT go here if you want a good night out.
