Great turkey sandwiches! Quick service and filling meal. I like the turkey on a regular bun with cranberry and brie. One time I went and they only had blue brie, it was okay, I prefer the regular. Reminds me of the turkey meat from the turkey legs at the state fair :) I know they have a stand there as well. So happy they opened a storefront downtown. Much easier to get to than the cart. Beware that the lines get long during lunch tme, but they get through people pretty quickly. They have a system down and easy to determine where you need to stand in line to not be in the way of lunch traffic trying to get by in the skyway.

A great spot in the Skyway for a quick, moderately low fat lunch. You can "create your own" or pick from the list of "favorites". I didn't want to hold up the line so I just went with the bacon sweet glaze wrap. The tortilla was very pillow-y and soft and it was STUFFED with warm shredded turkey, bacon, lettuce, and cheese mixed together with a slightly spicy "sweet glaze" (think lighter BBQ sauce). The full size wrap by itself was just over $8 which is a bit more than I'd like to pay but it was delicious and I'll probably be back to try the cranberry brie wrap soon.

Awesome turkey sandwich. Could have used more BBQ sauce and I'm sure they would have poured more on if I had asked. I'd go back for more.

My wife and I tried this for the first time today for lunch. I had the 1/2 pound sandwich with cranberry and brie. My wife had their blue cheese option. Both were very juicy and flavorful. The proces seemed a bit high at about $8 a sandich, but certainly not too bad. We would certainly concider this as a lunch option in the future. Realistically, this is sort of between a 3 and 4, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

My friends and I were off to the Smack Shack truck, but they were not downtown today, so we walked by Turkey to Go and decided to try a new restaurant. I ordered the standard turkey sandwich with olives, lettuce, peppers and some jalapenos. I really liked the wide variety of fixings you could get on it. The bun seemed like it was bought from Cub, but for 6 bucks for a sandwich, I would like an artisan focaccia or something more than a regular hamburger bun. There wasn't enough seating for the three of us, minus one star, so we had to take our meal to a nearby food court. Boo. The sandwich was really great though. Lots of juicy turkey on top, but I would have preferred at least a steamed or toasted bun. I mean, for 6 bucks, go all out guys. The toppings were fantastic and the Greek olives really made it nice. The hot sauce dressing I ordered was just the right amount of spicy. I am glad I ordered the jalapenos to really spice it up though. They looked like they were doing a brisk business, so that is always good. The counter service was very helpful and good people it seemed like. If they had more seating it would have been 4 stars, and my friends got the pita order and both seemed to like it. A friend got the buffalo sauce, but thought it was a little too sweet though. For a fall back from Smack Shack, it was fantastic to find a backup that I always wanted to try, as their Minnesota State Fair stand is the one I usually go to when there. A little pricey for a sandwich, and I will not be back here on a new restaurant plunge, but A-OK.

This is the same outfit that runs the Turkey To Go at the prime location at the State Fair which is always my last stop before departure. This year to a bit of horror, at the back of the building were loads of Blogett ovens. When I asked the pretty server at the counter if they still deep fried the turkey, she said no, they are no roasting as deep frying was too dangerous. Well no doubt someone musta got burned one way or another. But the turkey is just not the same. It's still good. It just not the same.

I don't know, I guess I just don't get Turkey To Go. From their truck I had the turkey sandwich last year and it was OK, but it wasn't much food and kinda spendy. Their skyway joint should fill a fix for turkey-maniacs but it's a little weird there are only three reviews here at this point. I had the Greek pita this time and the turkey was fine but the pita was really soggy and dripping. Stuff was just falling out of it. The cucumber sauce must have been really watery. There were fairly decent-sized chunks of feta, olive and tomato but overall, it just tasted like mush and there wasn't much to distinguish it. When I first heard of this place I pictured a mountain of fresh turkey, really big chunks. Instead it's all shredded and doesn't amount to more than Thanksgiving leftovers. I certainly appreciate the novel concept, because not a lot of places highlight turkey like this and I like how you can submit your favorite combination for inclusion on the menu. I just don't think the food adds up in the end. I would be willing to pay $6-8 for a really robust, fresh turkey sandwich. Instead you get some shredded turkey on a pretty mediocre bun. I like turkey a lot, but this just falls flat for me.

2 people staffed on a weekday at noon. One making the sandwiches the rate of one customer each couple minutes(not her fault she is all alone), the other one resting her face on her fist with a look of absolute boredom. Didn't say 'thank you' or 'have a good day'. Hell, she didn't even look at me. Sandwich was okay in taste and size for the price, but not enough to make me bear anything less than speedy friendly service during my business lunch time. Won't be back.

Another score for the downtown lunch crew! I stopped in to the new skyway eatery for my first ever Turkey to Go. You can choose between a traditional size sandwich, 1/2lb, or pita wrap, so I decided on a traditional sandwich for my first go around. I was impressed by the amount of free toppings you can choose to add on top of the steaming mountain of goodness (shredded turkey). I went for a modest combination and topped it off with BBQ sauce. Smart choice! However, I should have opted for the 1/2lb sandwich or pita wrap for the traditional size did not leave me feeling full. For a skyway lunch Turkey to Go is slightly spendy (almost $6 for a traditional/wrap, $8 for a 1/2lb, no sides included), but it's worth the splurge for a quality sandwich that will have you craving turkey all year round.

I thought the shredded turkey was good but the sandwich was tiny for the $

Best sandwich in town - I don't know how they do it, but the turkey has great flavor, is juicy, and there are a TON of choices for fixings. The service was super quick and the food left me full and satisfied. Easily five stars for this gem of a lunch spot!
