I mean, so I went on a date with my girl friend. So what, this place is still the perfect date spot, for sure. Maybe I'll try to bring someone I actually have a shot with next time... As most people have mentioned, this place is gorgeous, with beautiful lights, a warm ambiance, and a wine cellar we were lucky enough to be seated next too. Obviously, this being a wine bar, our server had to be very knowledgeable in suggesting the perfect food and wine pairings, and she did a spectacular job on that. As mentioned in their website, Terzo's menu is seasonal and whimsical, and we were delighted with every dish we had. The truffle and crimini mushroom bruschetta was divine -- the truffle hit my nose before the plate even hit the table. They were that generous with the truffle oil (now only if I could get some actual truffles for $6...right). They had a special of squash blossom fritters filled with mascarpone and lightly fried, and that beautiful, delicate dish was just that. I also got a large plate of lamb medallions, although I should note their large plate still tend to seat on the smaller side. Or maybe it's the right, non-American portion and we're just fat fussies. Yup, I just made "fussy" into a noun. The dish was meticulously plated, and it was almost too pretty to eat. I ate it anyway, and it was delicious at every bite. My 'date' had the salmon flan, which was a fascinating take on salmon. Pair all that with a great glass (or 1/2 for more sampling) of wine, and you'd almost forget that Broder's was across the street. This brainchild from the folks over at Broder's is one full-grown, full-bodied eatery.

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time last night. Loved the ambiance, the size, the fantastic selection of wines, the simultaneous non-intrusiveness and helpfulness of the waitress, and the delicious appetizers we had. We particularly enjoyed the chicken liver mousse. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Pro: such a cute place, love the layout and decor. Cons: unwelcoming/rude service, we felt like a burden as we were told that they were full for reservations and needed to know how long we would take. Mind you, there was one other occupied table, and while we rushed through our appetizer, no other patrons entered the restaurant. The server assumed that all I wanted to drink was water because I'm pregnant, and one of the 3 bruscettas we tried was simply bread with olive oil and salt toasted (which seems more like bread). Not once were we asked how everything was tasting/going, and we thought it best to not water any more time or money there. There was such a vast difference from Broders (same ownership), one would think they are completely unrelated. Won't be back.

Great wine selection, including good house wines. The food has been great - I highly recommend any of the pork sandwiches. Finally, the staff has always been fantastic - even when we have come in with our one year old (we make sure to bring him early in the evenings when they open - this atmosphere is neighborhoody but best suited for adults).

Great neighborhood wine bar. Small and quaint place. Has beautiful bar and wine cellar. Food is small bites, delicious and the wine flights are fun. Would definitely come back

Most definitely worth the trip. I love their porchetta sandwiches and their one bite specials. My boyfriend and I have been visiting this place for a while and I figured it's time for a review. For starters, we love their selections of wine. No matter what type you like; white, red, full-bodied or not they have it for you. Always, always ask your server for their opinion and expertise-you won't be disappointed if you do. Beyond their adult drinks, there are many things from the menu that are great. Tonight, however, we kept it simple with just their porchetta sandwiches. My bf opted for his favorite again: The Calabrian porchetta. He loves the hint of spice that comes with this sandwich and it's his favorite go-to. For myself, I try to taste something different each time and this night I opted for the rapini porchetta. Texturely, it was great, you get a crunch from the rapini and the acid that was found in the sandwich made it a winner for me. Their pork belly and pork shoulder mix can create a oily feel but having a hint of that acid, really does cut down that feel. And I love how messy it can be while eating that sandwich. I mean aren't all good things suppose to be sinful and messy when you eat it. Use a fork, heck use your hand if you must....c'mon you have potato chips to eat for goodness sakes. :) I know I said we kept it simple but when I saw salted caramel gelato and mascarpone espresso sponge cake, I had to get dessert. If you're thinking this is like a tiramisu, it's not. Yes, it has similar notes but there isn't a strong espresso taste to their sponge cake, like traditional rum soaked lady fingers, so no let's not confuse the two. This heavenly goodness had just the right amount of sweetness with a sprinkle of saltiness. It was ah-ma-zing. I would have licked the plate but that would have been un-lady-like of me. Haha. **oh, the nice thing about going with someone else is you can share the other half of the sandwich with each other too. If you're willing that is. That is all.

I was really looking forward to going to Terzo - it is a bit pricey but the quality of the food is good. Also - the wine containment system ensures that you get a fresh glass. We had the cheese plate, olives, several glasses of wine, and all was fine. It is easy to get a table mid week, the wine bar is typically full but the tables are usually available. They have a lot - which can be full. Again, my only complaint is it is pricey - they are aiming for quality, which I appreciate - but for three people the bill was really high for a non-dinner.

Food was solid for the price the service was pretty slow seemed under staffed the night I was there. The presentation on the entree is awesome really top restaurant quality. Got to try both the steak and pancetta wrapped pork loin the steak was amazing perfectly cooked. The pork was ok nothing special. All of the accompanying vegetables and gnocchi were better then the meat in my book. The gnocchi and fingerling potatoes being the real stars for me.

What a perfect spot to sit down and have A flight of wine with a friend or on a date. I have not actually eat in the food yet but I do know their drinks are wonderful the selection is huge and I would Highly recommend going here for a quick stop off for a drink

Where else can you pull into a parking lot off of 50th, walk up to a window, ring a bell and get a porchetta sandwich? What??? Yeah. Porchetta, that concoction from Northern Minnesota that is pork butt, garlic and other seasonings slow roasted to reduce the meat to flavorful succulent glory piled on a ciabatta. I opted for the truffled mushroom topped version and am thinking of going back already. Unctuous pork slathered in crimini mushrooms that were married with truffle makes for one decadent sandwich. I added on a side of the fennel/radicchio/currant slaw which went well with the pork. Window service is only available from 11a- 5p, so plan accordingly. There are some Adirondack chairs near the window but you might want to think twice about eating your order there - you may not be able to get up afterwards.

Have been here twice now with the boyfriend. First on my birthday. The truffle porchetta sandwich was amazing! Staff in the dining room was attentive. Overall great first visit! Today, just went to their side window. Had the ripini porchetta sandwich. In my opinion, not as good as the truffle porchetta, but the boyfriend likes it more than the truffle one. Also, he wants me to add that the seasoning today (he's cheated on me and had sandwiches there without me) was bland. But, we'll be back.

TerZo is Broder's addition to Penn Ave and it deserves an A+++++ and 5 stars at the least!! Great food and atmosphere. Wine selection is fabulous. The Calabrian sandwich is to die for and their customer service and professionalism are outstanding.

These are four REAL stars calibrated for NYC reviewing. I haven't done that since Lynn on Bryant. I'm not permanently a snob and I love it here, but sometimes a person just gets homesick, ok? Three things catapult me home when I'm homesick - the scent of the vents if you stand outside Szechuan Spice in uptown - a pie from Hello Pizza delivered to your house, and a nosh at Terzo Vino. Only one of those things is an unqualified non-guilty pleasure. Something special is afoot here - the perfect place to get a carafe of something wonderful, share a salami or cheese board, and linger. Linger because you've finally got Italian eats that aren't pasta or red sauce and you can pretend you're somewhere else for a while. It's not cheap, but it's not overpriced. If you need to be stuffed, you can get a South Jersey across the street. If you need pasta, hello, go to the pasta bar. (Or the massively underrated pastas at Prima) If you're ready to grow up and "take human bites" then you're ready for this place. It's a hell of a lot more interesting, food wise, than, say, Tilia or (might as well compare McDonald's) King's or Beaujos - which I like. But if I'm going to part ways with a stray 40 bucks, you can bet your bippy this will be the first option. The pours are not the cheapest, but I really felt that I was getting more than I paid for. Also the service is just my liking - sardonic, hip to our mood and our pacing, and smart as hell about wine. Let other people muscle over each other to get in and freak out over BLG. We're good, you and I.

Another visit like last night and it'll be 5 stars. Wife, kid and I went for Halloween dinner. Got right in at 6:30 with a same day reservation. There was space for walk-ins although Halloween means a drop off in diners. Wife was disappointed there were no pasta selections but that's on us, not them -- read the menu before you go. Had the homemade potato chips and olives to start. What you'd expect. Great Italian wine selection and our server navigated it for us with ease and intelligence. I had the chicken dish, she the pork chop. A top three chicken dish for Minneapolis -- just outstanding -- juicy, flavorful bird and lots of it. She loved her pork chop. They even made a special meat and cheese plate for the six-year old (which we ate most of). Almond ice cream with red grape compote dessert was unique (smelled bad, tasted good). Great ambiance to the place -- what a neighborhood restaurant should be -- and the service was excellent -- our server was attentive, understanding and knowledgable. Can't find that at many Minneapolis places these days. Bravo Terzo!

Small plates to share! I love sharing small plates, because you get more options. The food is lighter Italian fair, and there's absolutely no pasta. As the server said, if you want pasta go to the original Broders across the street (You should do that anyway.). The building is almost claustrophobic, but not quite. The wine selection is large and the staff is knowledgeable and full of recommendations. The Broders strike again, and I loved it.

The porchetta sandwiches are amazing. The Calabrian is my favorite with a little spiciness, but I've had the mushroom and the rapini sandwiches which were great too. I like to just stop by the window they have in the parking lot and just pick up my sandwich to go, but if I could get a group together their wine and meat/cheese plates look appealing too.

This review is actually for the window that is "Porchetteria", read below for more details.... Food/Drink: Wow, these pork sandwiches are great and flavorful. We ordered the Calabrian and the Rapini and it was awesome. They're slightly greasy, but don't worry about that until the end (wetnaps galore). Pretty reasonably priced and the service was quick. We also ordered a side of the house made chips and one of the aioli dips and they were enough for two people and tasted great to boot. Can't give enough compliments. Ambiance: If you haven't heard, it's basically setup so you can roll up through the parking lot and there's a window with a doorbell to the kitchen. There's some chairs setup which are just right to sit, eat and enjoy the sun. However, if you're a bigger group, don't expect a picnic bench or anything like a table, however they package it up pretty well so it could make a quick drive back to your office. Regardless, you know where to go and what to do based on what you see. If you decide to stay, you'll enjoy the food even more. Service: It's a window to the kitchen, and the person behind the window still had time to explain some of the options and even give us a quick recommendation on a sandwich to try. it's all recyclable material and packaging so after you're done, take it to the garbage and grab a wet nap or three on the way back. Be aware it's only open during the lunch to afternoon during the weekdays (I think). Overall: I've been a fan of upscale restaurants doing windows for lunch so I'll admit I was a little biased. But the flavors on the sandwiches were really done well and I like the theory that the chef might be able to change the menu quickly or might be able to try different things here that they might not be able to do on the inside. Regardless, the food is great and the window ordering and location makes you feel like an insider and cool (and who doesn't want to be cool?).

Review for Porchetteria: Beyond sloppy, super salty, stale, burnt mess. Made us sad and mad ~we had higher hopes.

  • D S.

Very mediocre food & high prices. Completely flummoxed as to why this place is so highly rated. Had the cheese plate that was comprised of four small pieces of uninteresting cheese - nothing local- maybe Costco cheese sliced up? Then we each had a salad - again extremely mundane / not particularly tasty or fresh greens. If the price matched the quality I would be ok. But the Broders think you can add a few chandeliers & mark up commercial style food & dub it Italian. Well good for them but I won't be back.

Terzo is one of my top three favorite restaurants in Minneapolis and it just keeps getting better and better with each visit. The wine list is perhaps my favorite part, with interesting, esoteric, and thoughtfully curated selections from all across Italy. If you want a Chardonnay, they can help you. If you want to get weird, they can help you. You can order any glass by the half and any bottle, too, so if you want to explore, you can drink around and find something new to love. The staff is also very well-educated about the list, which is a big bonus. It's clear that training here is a big deal, and it shows. All of the employees I've interacted with really know their menus and seem to really care. The food is also excellent. From a simple meat and cheese plate to the sublime vitello tonnato to the pillowy, robust sformatino, the food changes seasonally, showcasing some classics and some innovative takes on Italian food created with craft and integrity. We are so lucky to have the Broder boys at the top of their respective games, coming together to turn out rock star food and drink every night. Now if only Penn Ave would reopen, so it'd be a straight shot from my house...

Beautiful wines and plates make this spot a Minneapolis must. Seriously, this place is sexy. Our table of 4 tried five of the appetizer plates, the bite of the day, and two "big" plates. The lamb, goat cheese stuffed peppers, and mushroom/truffle bruschetta were the stars of the evening. The service was perfect and they knew their wine. I'll definitely be back and recommend this place to any serious foodie.

A lovely hangout. I loved the variety of wines and the tremendous options- half glass, full glass, half carafe, full bottle. Our server was willing to offer up flights and pairings in unlimited combinations. We started with the special skewer of the night- a scallop and potato croquette- that left me wishing for a basket of those. The cheese board and salume boards were the perfect pickings and had some really unusual offerings. Dessert must haves for us were the poached pears and lemon curd. Both were ideal crisp finishes to an unhurried and enjoyable evening. The nicest part about this place was- it felt homey- like you could relax for hours with good old friends.

Three reasons why Terzo gets 5 stars from me. 1. They take reservations! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. It shows that you respect your customers' time. 2. The service. Our server on a Saturday night was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Her wine recommendations were right on for our tastes and her food recs were equally good. I did see one Yelp complaint about service. Go back and ask to be at Karen's table. She was fantastic! 3. The menu - food and wine. My wife and I were specifically looking for wine by the glass, and the variety of styles and regions (all Italy) was great. I saw several interesting wines available by bottle only, and that's great too. But for me, the fun part of a wine bar is the opportunity to compare and contrast. We also really liked the food. We stuck to the small plates, again looking for a variety of flavors rather than an entrée. It's not a huge menu, I wouldn't expect that at a wine bar. But everything we had was great. It's not an inexpensive wine bar. But the pours are generous (6-ounce) or a 3-ounce half glass. And they don't play games with pricing. The half glass costs half as much as a full glass. I'm looking forward to a return visit soon.

Don't give out 5 stars to an Italian restaurant all that lightly, but this place just deserves them. We started off with the house charcuterie that included a great house made mortadella and a good terrine. I loved the mortadella, it was very flavorful and aromatic and not too greasy. Terrine was good, but not my favorite, although BF loved it. Then we got the skewer of the day. OK but I think the cherry and hazelnut totally over poured the lard. Then I got the Vitello tonnato, Bf got the rabbit and we shared artichokes. When the veal arrive I was super disappointed: barely any sauce, then I dug in and discovered the sauce was under the veal instead of over the veal as it usually is. The sauce was lemony and salty and the veal was cooked to perfection. together they were an explosion of flavor. I loved it! The rabbit was tender and moist. I am going to guess it was a deboned leg wrapped around a pork and pistachio stuffing. It came with a simple mâché and carrot salad that complemented the dish and without overpowering it and offered some freshness to counterbalance the richness of the rabbit roll. Finally the artichokes were crispy outside and tender inside and tasted delicate and not greasy at all. The mayo was a very bright, lemony mayo. For dessert, we had the taleggio sformatini. They tasted distinctively cheesy, but add the honey and the lemon sauce and you have the perfect dessert. Not too sweet, tangy and acidic. Loved it. So food passed with flying color and many interesting dishes still to try ( have my eyes on the octopus, the frog legs and the puffed fusilli). Oh portion sizes are on the smaller side, so be prepared to spend some money. For drinks there is plenty of wine. As usual in Minnesota it is overpriced, but at least here you have choices! Service started incredibly slow, but once they realized we had been waiting, they picked up the pace and comped the skewers, so really nothing to complain about. Ambience was nice: they did a great job at modernizing the space and making it warm at the same time. Looking forward to go back.

I think this is a nice option for a glass of wine and a couple small plates while you wait for your table at Broders but I don't think I'd eat here again beyond that. We tried Terzo for lunch and split the pesce soup and the Calabrian porchetta. The soup was very average and far too expensive at $15 for a cup/bowl of fishy thin tomato broth with 1 shrimp half a shriveled up scallop and a few clams and oysters. The flavor was Ok but nothing memorable. The porchetta was quite good and something I would order again but not something I'd go out of my way to get. If I was in the area and needed food yes but again not super memorable. Overall, I love all things Broders - deli, restaurant and I'll include Terzo. However. For the price and quality I'd rather go to the deli.

Really enjoyed my first visit here. 1. Our sever was extremely knowledgable and willing to share any recommendations. She also have us a little lesson on where the inspiration came from with the decor along with little tips on the history of the statement pieces. Really interesting. 2. Happy hour was worth it. $5 house glass of wine. I also had bruschetta, the cheese plate and a salami tray. All were wonderful. But what stuck out the most were the desserts. We ordered 2 different desserts - an apple tarte of some sort, and a chocolate cake...both were out of this world!! Highly recommend the desserts. It has a parking lot which is a big perk. Will definitely come back. Probably for happy hour, because I'm cheap.

My family adores this restaurant! They had talked it up and when I got a chance to go with them, it definitely lived up to the hype! The wine selection is amazing, and very representative of Northern Italy (the region they try to emulate). The sommelier was very helpful and knowledgeable. They also had a great beer selection if you want to switch it up - with some beers you don't see other places. I really enjoyed a spiced Belgian ale. Then there's the food. Every day they have a 'skewer del giorno' for $1, which is a fun way to start off your meal. We then got a mixed cheese and salumi plate. The sommelier who had been helping us out picked out the selection and we enjoyed everything on it. We also had the brussel sprouts (AMAZING), vitello tonnato (not for me - but everyone else at my table liked it), and a bruchette of the day (also incredible). We then split a larger plate of braised short ribs. The meat was good, but the fried polenta and gorgonzola-stuffed onion was incredible! Overall, a feast for 4 people. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant to any 'foodies' in the Twin Cities - love the ambiance, food and wine selection!

This is our second visit. Great wine, food and service. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for. We enjoyed the lamb, short ribs, pesce, and scallops as a main course. Also had the bruschetta trio and dessert. We had poached pears and chocolate hazelnut cake. Check it out!

Glad to have this place close by! The Mr and I popped in here while we waited for our place in line at Broders (yes the buzzer works across the street!). We sat at the bar, had a few glasses of wine (great selection!) and a cheese and prosciutto plate. Our server was really knowledgable and talked us through which cheeses to order based on what we like-- very helpful! Wow was the cheese and prosciutto good! And they didn't skimp either! Too often I order a cheese and meat plate and what comes out is a bite of each thing for a huge price tag. In addition we got two bowls of bread to accompany our food. We both can't wait to come back here .... perhaps I can persuade the Mr to go this weekend ;)

  • Jackie M.

This is my first official Yelp review, and this place was the inspiration to write one. I consider myself a "foodie" if you will and go out to eat very frequently and to higher end places, and love to try all the new places in town. I am a die hard Broders fan and was extremely excited to hear that they were opening a wine bar. We went this past weekend and to say that my expectations were blown away is an understatement! First I have to give out a huge A+ to our bartender Kyle. I was a server for 7 years and typically when going out to eat the service is sub par at best. He was beyond knowledgable about all the wines there which there are 50+ varieties by the glass! Very helpful and willing to give small samples to help you figure out what you like which is huge for me since I all I know about wine is basically white or red. Back to the wine they have a lot of bottles that you can also get a half bottle of which is a great deal! I would go back just to see Kyle it was that great of an experience. Now on to the food. WOW is all I have to say. We had the skewer of the day which was a pickled cauliflower deep fried and with chipotle mayonnaise. Delicious and only $1! We also had the herb goat cheese stuffed peppers, and bruschetta of the day which was a brocooli raab with pesto and fresh mozzarella I believe if I remember correctly. They had a great selection for meat and cheese plates as well with the cheeses and meats changing with the seasons which is great so you can always be trying something new. It is a bit spendy as the concept is small plates but totally worth the price as everything we had was phenomenal. I could not highly recommend this place enough and I am hoping to go back as soon as this weekend. I would suggest to get there a bit early as the space is small and was really getting busy as we were leaving.

Porchetta with truffled mushrooms = amazing. I made the trek down to Terzo after a good 6 months of having it on my wish list. I came in for lunch so wasn't in the mood for wine, but they had a solid tap list. Very cozy and a great place for a date. I'm getting lusty just thinking about the porchetta. Will be back for more!

First time was fabulous. Nice, cozy space. Attentive service by Karen, who guided us through the menu and helped select a nice wine. Olive starter well worth the $4. Small plates were really nice. Scallops with fennel purée with lemon pucker very nice. The torta di cipolla - puff pastry with caramelized rosemary onion - was terrific. Finished with a fun hazelnut cake with chocolate gelato and little lemon curds and cappuccino. Everything really was great, but the small plates are small (duh). It was perfect for what we wanted, and next time we'll likely try either the sandwiches, lamb shank or whole sea bass - we saw each of those go by and they looked great.

Nice ambiance but food was meh. Nothing jumped out at us on the menu and everything was uber salty. But the server was really nice and knew a lot about the piedmont area if Italy.

  • Jason G.

A very nice first night at Terzo. And a worthy addition to the Broder's restaurant family. The option for a 3 oz pour makes tasting from the wine menu easy. The per-glass options cover a better range of wines than most. Dinner should be treated as a small plate evening. Plan on 2-3 plates each or a starting board and individual plates.

Stay away. I'm keeping this place to myself! Ok, you can come, but don't tell anyone else.

  • Patty M.

We went here opening weekend and really enjoyed it! I'd have to say that it's a bit spendy for what you get, and not a lot of mid-priced choices, but that was ok with us. Tons of cheeses to choose for a cheese plate, and great wine selection. Atmosphere was great, very chill and I could totally see going there with some friends or on a date night. We didn't try anything besides a couple wines and a cheese plate, so can't speak to the food. But I'll definately go back.

I have always been a big fan of Broders and Broders Pasta Bar which are in my neighborhood, so I was very interested in givingTerzo a try. Terzo specializes in small plates - Italian tapas so to speak. This is great with my wife and me as we like to sample a lot of different dishes. We went with another couple and arrived early so did not have to wait. Our server was very knowledgeable about both the wine list and the menu. I know next to nothing about Italian wines, so her help was much appreciated as she provided us with some great recommendations. Trezo sells their wines by the half-glass as well as the glass. I like this as it allows more opportunities for sampling. We were extremely pleased with all of our choices. We ordered the skewer del giorno for each person and shared the salumi board, the formaggi board, the vitello tonnato, and the polpo in stampo. The salumi board was spectacular! We also had dessert and this is one place you should definitely save room for desert. All of the Broder brothers were there that evening. I noticed that each dish was carefully inspected by one of them before serving and the presentations were beautiful, as good as I have seen anywhere. They have larger plates which looked pretty heroic in terms of size - I will stick with the small plates however.

Much better than any sex you've ever had! Delightful flavors. Veg heavy. Fennel heavy! Italian wine list full of bottles you've never heard of: yeah! Even the foodie hipsters are easily ignored. Great neighborhood vibe and warm staff. Divine.

I love Broder's Pasta Bar and Broder's Deli, so I was excited to try their latest venture. Terzo has a beautiful atmosphere and the server was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Regretfully, I thought the cheese and salami boards were mediocre and too expensive for the quantity of items artistically displayed on the plate. The wine selection is impressive but again too expensive. It would've been nice to know a lower cost house wine was available without asking. I doubt that we will go back...

  • K V.

This place is just too expensive and the food menu is not very interesting. To top this off the service is mediocre. If I am going to spend $50 (I split the bill with my friend so it was actually $100!) for a couple of glasses of wine and a small plate of salami and cheese, you should make sure that the experience that I have while consuming it is excellent. The lady sitting next to us had more wine knowledge than our server and honestly, we weren't asking for much, just a suggestion for a good bottle of red. She rarely checked on us and forgot to bring out some of our food until we were ready for the bill. The atmosphere is fine; especially at the bar, but I will not be back even though it is in my neighborhood.

  • Danelle M.

I met a friend for a late dinner there last night. We each had the skewer of the day, glasses of red wine, and split the stuffed peppers, scallops, egg and tomato brushetta, and beat salad. Everything was very good and the server was super knowledgeable, it was just a little overpriced in my opinion. Some items were reasonable but spending $11 and $14 for a glass of wine or $15 for 2 medium sized scallops is more than I usually prefer. Next time, I will get a less expensive glass of wine , one appetizer or salad, and an entree.

Holy Yes. Finally, we have found it, a fabulous, wonderful, local hangout. We've got lots of cute restaurants in the Armitage/Fulton neighborhood, but sometimes you feel guilty if you just want to stop in somewhere for a drink. Not anymore. Terzo to save the day. The man and I stopped in on a Sunday evening to check it out. We popped up to the big wooden bar and took a seat, admiring the 20 wine bottles hooked up and ready to be served by the glass. They have a ton of wine by the glass, I would probably say closer to 30ish. The wine program is amazing and the servers and bartenders really know their stuff. Also, check out the light fixtures - very cool. I started out with a lambrusco - which I don't think I have ever seen on a menu before - especially not by the glass. The man started with a lovely dolcetto - can't go wrong there! We got a few smaller items to share. The menu set up is, at first, confusing. They have it split into about 7 sections. One section is smaller items, including a skewer of the day. Another is a bruschetta section, including a bruschetta of the day. The other sections are split up between small plates, from the sea options, and some main dishes. But the stars of the show are the meat and cheese platters. They have really done something great here. They have 3, count 'em 3, different kinds of prosciutto. Then they also have roughly 8-10 varieties of cheeses and salumi meats. A great selection of both Italian and American meats, the cheese lean towards mostly Italian. For food we did the following: Skewer of the day: melon wrapped with prosciutto with powdered olive oil and aleppo pepper. Could have done without the pepper, that is how good the rest of it was. Brought me right back to a small restaurant in Milan where melon and prosciutto was one of their specialties. Bruschetta of the day: garlic rubbed crostini with fresh, creamy burrata cheese, olive oil, and chives. Nom nom nom. Fried baby artichokes with lemon aioli. Not battered and fried, light and crispy and that lemon aioli - wow. Meat plate of goodness: prosciutto di Parma, summer truffle salumi, and a fennel spiced type soft salumi. Served with some great pickled veggies. Servings were all pretty decently sized - we weren't starving when we came there however, we probably would have needed to order a few more items to really fill up. Now, here is where the 5th star is earned for me: dessert. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if a small restaurant takes the time to do good dessert, then that really sets them apart. Terzo desserts almost stole the show. We had a small cookie plate and a braised and caramelized pineapple with mango sorbet, basil sauce, and powdered olive oil. The pineapple had amazing flavor, the mango sorbet was so bright and clean, and the basil brought just the right amount of savory. The cookie plate was just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. If I was a little girl, I would want to bring my American girl doll for a party. It comes with an assortment of house made cookies and candies, including hazelnut torrone, a chocolate truffle, the infamous ugly but good cookie, and a few other great options. I'm sure they probably change this platter quite frequently so I can't wait to order it again. I mean, I really don't think I can say enough great things about Terzo. We had such a great experience from start to finish and I really can't wait to go back again . . . and again . . . and again.

A great little neighborhood gem. Excellent wait staff, food was right on and the wine selection is excellent. Made a quick reservation for myself and the kids. We all loved the food and desserts. All the items were a hit.

I was greeted by "Kristen" who sports a million dollar/welcoming smile :D Terzo's has a PAR EXCELLENCE team! Being in the food business myself for over 20 years, I appreciated the superb service, and cleanliness! Very nice to have the option of getting a 3 oz pour of wine. I thoroughly enjoyed the prosciutto board - expertly sliced by Chef Andrea :D I also ordered the Fonduta, which paired perfectly with the prosciutto board and vino! The atmosphere at Terzos' has the feel of being surrounded by family The decor is amazing, and very cool! The moment you walk in their door, you are embraced by welcoming smiles, wafts of mouth-watering food scents, and a very laid back and socially inviting atmosphere. The tables are close together, which invites conversation exchanges :) I met a very nice couple; Gwen and Jack who ALSO said that they had a wonderful dining experience at Terzos' and will most assuredly be back! My own personal experience with Terzo's was so nice, fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Terzo's to anyone who wants to thoroughly enjoy themselves on all levels! Congratulations, Terzo's ! I've made myself a regular! :)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
