Love their grilled cheese and incredibly reasonable.

This is the worst restaurant meal i can ever remember having. Think of your worst airline or hospital meal, then think of something a little more bland and lie quality than that. Sticks was so horrible they even screwed up the bread and salad. They serve the same two sides with all entrees: potato wedges and green beans. The potato wedges are hard and dry, too much so to choke down. The green beans were greasy and undercooked. Our waitress was wonderful, the comedians were very funny, but i will never eat at this restaurant again.

Food is terrible. Steak was spoiled, and made my girlfriend sick. Will never eat here again.

Super limited selection, poor service, hair in friends entree that killed everyone's appetite. There are plenty of places to go before a show at ACME Comedy. Avoid.

Good was good. Menu is somewhat limited. About 6 different entrees. Atmosphere was rustic chic. Waiter Mesiah was very helpful and nice. The crab cake appetizer was good and the chicken tortilla soup was deliciousssss.

Went here on a Saturday night before a comedy show. Waiter was nice, informative but pushy we wanted to take out time strechout dinner but that didnt happen. Meat was like crockpot meat pretty boaring. Pasta was over seasoned. No bread. Small menu. Don't want to go back here.

Our margaritas were sickeningly sweet with absolutely zero tequila. The corn chowder was inedible. The fish and chips were over battered and way undercooked fish with potato chips, not fries. The "onion dip" was sour cream with Lipton onion soup. My husband's BLT was good, and he said his fries were good. Not a go out to dinner treat at all. Go to Toast, two blocks and worth the walk.

Can't wait to come back! I'm really surprised by the other reviews so I thought I'd contribute a positive note! This was honestly one of the better meals I've had... like... ever. That could also be because I was hyped up to have a cheat-meal, but I mean the food seriously was great. Boyfriend and I came here before the Tom Segura show and we both LOVED our food! You get bread, soup or salad, and a huge entree all for $16! I got the Lemon Basil Agnolotti, which was a ravioli filled with roasted red peppers, garlic, ricotta, romano, and goat cheese served in a pesto cream sauce! It was AMAZING; that sauce is to die for, I've been dreaming of going back for months just to have that sauce again! Boyfriend got the Blackened Salmon Special, which was cooked to perfection. It wasn't dry or fishy at all, and it came with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans sauteed with sweet onions (I stole about half of those off his plate, they were so good!) Preceding the entrees I got a Caesar salad (yum), he got buffalo chicken soup (yum), and some freakishly soft dinner rolls, we were both in awe by the softness. Although we were both stuffed, we got fried raspberry cheesecake rolls for dessert. They tasted like gourmet toaster strudels, which doesn't really do the flavor justice, I know, but they were so so so good. We will definitely be back soon!

You're eating here bc you're seeing a show, and that's good news. If you're with a big group, you could do a lot worse. If your group is small (4 or less) go ahead and eat somewhere else. Stay away from seafood and order one of the great cocktails also available inside the club.

I don't live in Minneapolis, but am out here for a few days to visit family. My dad purchased combo tickets for dinner at Sticks and a comedy show at Acme Comedy Co. As soon as I walked into the building, the first thing I noticed was the giant, scotch taped, messy sign reading"Coat Check $2". Okay, whatever, not a big deal. Then I noticed that 4 employees were standing around the desk by this sign, laughing and talking loudly, very obviously not working. They also had their energy drink cans out, on the counter, perfectly visible to customers. However, I'm pretty sure this desk is separate from the restaurant. Maybe it belongs to Acme? Across the way is the entrance to Sticks. From what I could see through the windows, the decor was industrial chic. Very pretty. Gives one high expectations as to what will come regarding food and service. When we actually walked into the restaurant, the hostess stand also had 3 different energy drink cans on it. I understand if employees want to have a drink somewhere accessible, but in perfectly plain sight? Completely unprofessional. Having worked in restaurants, this is a good way to get written up. However, our waiter was kind and very attentive. He handled everything professionally and flawlessly. Next, the food. I consider myself a very hard to impress person, very critical. So, don't be surprised by my scathing review. I expect a lot from people who dedicate their lives to something as important to the human experience as food. Although the environment seemed to set an impressively rustic tone, the menu was not up to standard. Simple dishes, and not the good kind of masterfully simple where flavors are coaxed and nuanced into becoming something splendid. I mean the kind of simple of a Perkin's menu. Nothing inventive, nothing remarkable, and certainly nothing signature from the chef. I ordered the marinated chicken breast with a salad and balsamic vinaigrette. The salad came first. A very mediocre mix of ice berg, romain, and a couple pieces of old, wilting arugula. The dressing was served in a black, PLASTIC container. The dressing itself was good, but too sweet. Not enough acid. Then the entree. It was advertised as being grilled with tarragon, thyme, and basil, served atop a bed of herbed rice with green beans glazed with hoisin and soy, seasoned roasted potatoes. The chicken: much to my disappointment, it was prepared with dried herbs that stabbed me in the gums a couple times. The dried thyme dominated any other possible flavors as it covered the entire chicken breast. The chicken was cooked pretty well, a little rubbery. The rice: I am not exaggerating AT ALL when I say I got 2 forkfuls from my bed of rice. Well seasoned, perfectly cooked, but so little of it. The green beans: unevenly cooked. I would get a raw one, then a soggy, limp, noodle like bean. However, the glaze was good. Needed more soy, maybe a touch of lemon and to be cooked down a little more. It wasn't quite ready to truly coat the green beans as a glaze should. The potatoes: actually looked like something from Perkins. 5 fat wedges of orangey-colored potato, completely destroying any idea of attractive plating, just plopped on there. Just chillin'. I didn't even bother to taste them, because I've already had my life's share of "roasted seasoned potatoes" After dinner, we ordered 3 desserts. Chocolate cake, creme brulee cheesecake, and white chocolate champagne cake The Chocolate cake: delicious. Not so horrifyingly rich that you couldn't take a second bite. However, the Hershey's chocolate blob on the plate was complete unnecessary. Maybe some fresh berries to cut through the richness would have been better? The Creme Brulee Cheesecake: Holy shnikes, I felt like I was eating solid vanilla extract. I am perfectly aware that creme brulee is made with vanilla bean, but that was too straight forward. The vanilla was not complemented or developed in any way. It was just pure vanilla. I wasn't able to taste the White Chocolate Champagne cake. Hopefully, it was good. Overall, a very underwhelming experience. The chef seems to be uninspired and lazy, with a staff that has not been properly trained in how to act appropriately in a restaurant.
