The good here is average. I would say that I like their ice cream and slushies more than their food. It's better than McDonald's, but it would be something I'm craving for in the middle of the day. Service is always great.

While I'm a huge fan of the strawberry limeade, I have to say that I enjoy the drive in experience. It's sort of fun to sit in your car and have a burger. Also the food is fairly tasty. It's not someplace you should go on an everyday basis, but when you feel like splurging. The service is friendly and efficient. Sadly, they weren't on roller skates, but that's OK. They do have a drive through if you'd rather take your food to go.

Great 1st experience today! Diante was our server and he was great, very friendly and quick to deliver and even recommended an amazing strawberry malt! Exceptional service and delicious food. Will be back for sure!

Friday mornings I sometimes will go thru the Sonic Drive Thru for breakfast. Mondays-Thursdays, I eat warm oats, the old fashioned way. I sprinkle a TON of cinnamon and add frozen blueberries. So Sonic on a Friday is always fun! Especially on Fridays where I get paid. Double Fun! For me, the junior breakfast burrito is just the right amount of food along with a side of small tator tots. And at $2.13 for everything- can't complain. The junior breakfast burrito is a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, cheese and sausage. I thought they offered it in bacon as well, but the nice lady said the junior only comes with sausage. They never forget to ask me if I need ketchup and salsa. I love drizzling salsa on every bite of my burrito, so yummy! When the name of the game is cheap breakfast on-the-go, you can't go wrong with Sonic's junior breakfast burrito and a side of small tots.

This sonic has terrible customer service. Do not go here unless yo want terrible service. They refused cash and a gift card combined for payment. They had on a different occasion gave me someone else's order after serving other customers that arrive and ordered after me!" The food is not good enough to treat customers poorly.

I love coming here for their 1/2 shakes; it brings to the total for two shakes to under 5$ which is a really good deal. The ice cream alone is pretty tasty, but when you start adding flavoring, that's where it gets out of hand. I always feel that they add way too much flavoring and it settles at the bottom of your cup. As you near the end of your ice cream treat it's an awful taste of ass (excuse my French) flavored syrup and ice cream. I think they should calm down when it comes to pumping in flavoring and learn that less is more.

Pulled up to a spot. Wasn't particularly busy. Average night. I called in the order....and waited....and waited. After 14-15 minutes I called back in. I asked if they forgot my order. They said they were just super busy. I could have waited in line at the drive thru and gone around at least twice. Finally after another five minute wait I got my meal minus the cream cheese dip for the cinnamon desert. And not a single sorry from any of the employees, either on the talk box or the ones who brought the meal out. I will definitely reconsider going back.

The service and quality of food here has gotten progressively worse over the past year. I just went there for lunch and waited almost 20 minutes for them to bring me the wrong order - TWICE. Then when I went up to the door and told them they brought me the wrong order again they said, "Oh, yours is sitting right here." Great - add to that by this time my burger and tots weren't even warm anymore AND even though the wrapper had "no onion" and "no mustard" stickers on it there were onions on the burger. Ridiculous! I'll go way out of my way to another Sonic but never going back to this one again!

The WORST customer service I've EVER had in my life! We pulled up to the stall, got our order placed, tried to pay with my card and the card reader didn't work, so I kept trying and eventually gave up and figured I'd just pay when they brought the food out. We sat there for 35 minutes waiting and finally an employee came over and asked us, "Have you two ordered anything?" We said we did a long time ago and she asked if we ran through the drive through and then parked there....no, no we did not. And she said she would go look for our order and grab her manager. 15 minutes later the manager came over and apologized, said that our order was rang up in the drive through and that they we're making us a fresh order. Then he told us he was discounting our food, he took $5 off the total, for as long as we sat there it should have been free. By now we had been there for over an hour and still no food, we waited 20 minutes after the manager left and we still didn't have any food! So we left. Never going back there again.

Decent food. I'm not sure how fast all the locations are but it certainly doesn't qualify as fast food. Typical wait times are 10+ minutes so plan accordingly.

So this was both the first and last time I will ever visit a Sonic. Of course, when buying fast food at 10pm on a Monday night, you expect the food to be craptastic and you expect the staff to be stoned, but this was just ridiculous.. I've never had to wait in a drive through line for 30 mins to get 1 burger and tater tots.. I sat at the window for a solid 15 while they kept bringing out orders for the cars behind me... big bags full of whatever garbage they all ordered.. I'm a patient dude, so I stayed patient, but when I finally waved the drive through girl down and got her attention away from her laughing coworkers, she opens the window and asks if I got a receipt so they could make my food.. I understand you don't usually put the A-team on staff at 10pm on weekdays, but at least get one kid on staff with some kind of work ethic.. Oh, and their food is epically bad.. No reason to go here when there is a Wendy's right next door and 15 other food options within two blocks..

Sonic has been nothing but great for me. I mean, you don't come here to get fancy food, but the price is right for the decent quality. I'm pretty much addicted to their fries. My husband loves their shakes. And it's kind of fun to have the drive-in atmosphere. I know, it's not the same as a real drive in, but it's as close as you can get in the cities.

We love Sonic. We discovered Sonic during our frequent vacations in Texas and were excited to see it spread into the Twin Cities. We were one of those families waiting in line for a chance to visit the first Twin Cities Sonic in St. Paul, and now that we have one closer to our home we end up stopping in at least once a month. We love the ice cream treats as well as the unique items like Frito pies. We especially love their mid-day "Happy Hour" for treats during unexpected down-time.

I had never been to Sonic before and didn't realize that it's drive-in only, but that was my fault and not theirs. The food was pretty good. There was a little too much sauce on the burgers (I recommend taking it home to eat or else you might make a big mess in your car, especially with kids). I really liked the tater tots - nice and crisp on the outside and nicely seasoned, not too salty. The sundae was great, too. The drive in thing was cool. There were plenty of parking spots and there were some tables set up for outside dining in the summer. I'll be back!

Nice and roomy and spread out. Plenty of parking. Right now there's a 2 for 1 on shakes. Haven't tried a slushie yet. I'm just here for the burgers and jalopeno poppers. I found out poppers don't reheat well, so don't get them unless you can eat them right away.

Good, for the most part! I've always been a fan of the old school style drive-in. It has an almost classical feel that's hard to forget. Not to mention how delicious the food is! I almost always go for a burger, and am definitely never disappointed. However, the mess isn't much appreciated..it's almost a skill that you have to master, keeping that burger together. But, nonetheless, delicious!

I am a Texan, so Sonic love runs through my veins. Probably my favorite fast food besides In-N-Out and Taco Cabana. For the uninitiated, a few thoughts/suggestions: - Get the vanilla add-in for your Coke or Diet Coke. Delicious, and the ice at Sonic is awesome as well -- soft and crunchy at the same time. A miracle! - Tater tots are awesome, but if you have a hearty appetite you need to get at least a large. Sonic has pretty reasonable portion sizes for fast food -- it's made to enjoy, not gorge. - Whether to tip your sonic carhop or not is a pretty divisive issue. I usually fall in the camp of change or no tip unless it's raining/extremely hot/they do tricks on the skates/other extraordinary circumstances, but you're okay no matter what you decide. - The whole menu is available all day. That includes breakfast. Yahtzee!

I think it is funny; after years and years of seeing Sonic commercials, Minnesota finally gets some locations! Now that one is located near my house, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. This was my first encounter with the fast food restaurant, and really, it wasn't too bad. I didn't really know what to expect, I've seen the commercials, and yes, sometimes they seemed a bit appetizing, I still was unsure of the whole experience. We drove up and parked in one of the drive in slots. Then we ordered, I had the grilled chicken sandwich with tots! TOTS! Not bad, it has been a really long time since I've had tots so I was really excited. The food took about 5-10 minutes to come out to our car.. It was delivered by some dude rollerblading around. Good god, that must suck to have to work and blade at the same time. Overall, the food was just OK.. I mean, it was good for Fast Food and all, but it was OK. I like the fact that they have big slices of bread instead of buns.. that's a nice touch. I wasn't too keen on the whole drive up and sit in your car type of place, but we ended up just getting our food and bringing it home anyways. The people working seemed to be having fun. They were younger teens who were all seeming to get a long with each other.. That's nice to see! I would probably go back sometime.. I mean, I wouldn't rush out tonight after work just to get there or anything, but I feel like most foods and restaurants, whether they be gourmet or fast food, sometimes, they just need a second try! So, someday soon, I will go back.

I used to live in Atlanta where Sonic was a little more prevalent, so I was re-visiting when I went the other day. Sonic Burgers taste like the cheap burgers they get in huge boxes to unload at company picnics, and the rest of the food pretty much follows the same path. There is one item on the menu that continues to deliver and that is the sausage and egg breakfast wrap. You might be tempted to get the upscale breakfast burrito (it has jalepenos and other items in it), but don't do it, it's a trick. The simplicity of sausage, egg, and tortilla with the salsa they provide hit the spot anytime you are in the mood for a quick breakfast. Other than that, the only reason to go to a Sonic is for the drinks. With ehat seems like millions of choices, they have a beverage for everyone and the flavors are all good. Cherry Limeaid is arguably their signature drink, but the slushes and shakes are very good as well (If they still had the peanut butter hot fudge shake they used to serve in Atlanta, I'd give them another star).

First experience with Sonic -- I'm a fan! The drive-in experience is different for the area, cute, fun, but could see it being a problem during cold months. Additional outdoor seating would be a smart choice. The cheeseburger was dee-lish, melted in my watering mouth. And the chocolate malt was to-die-for! Not as creamy as DQ, but still very good.
