Stopped by here last week, late afternoon with the little kids. It's a cool place to hang out on the beach and stop by Sandcastle to grab a bite to eat. Kids had the hot dogs and my wife & I split the fish tacos and the ceviche. I thought the fish tacos were really good. Not a ton of fish, but well prepared and nice verde salsa to top them off. The ceviche was also good, better than I expected from a beach cafe. Definitely a good spot to check out with the family.

As a fan of Doug Flicker's restaurant Piccolo, I expected creativity and flavor. Until I hear this restaurant offers that, we will not return. I ordered the fish tacos and, like another reviewer, found them wanting. It seemed like the fish consisted of some fragments strained from the deep fryer. Any flavor was masked by the taco shell. My wife had the BLT and was really unimpressed. One would think there would be a spicy mayo, different bread, or something to distinguish it. Finally, the deep-fried cheese curds, though okay, were, in my opinion, overpriced. Good selection on beer, but it isn't anywhere near as good as Minnehaha Park's Sea Salt. I do hope they improve as they have a great location within easy walking distance. (Oh, and they DO card, even if, um, you're well beyond legal age, so bring your ID.)

5 stars for taste, -1 star for being very expensive given portion sizes. I'm not a big eater, and it would have taken $20 to fill me up here.

Unique quick food items, flicker dog w kimchee, watermelon salad & various wraps including a delicious sweet pea falafel. Nice addition to our neighborhood. If you're thirsty beer & wine on tap.

I tried it again and must admit it's growing on me. This time we had a bison chili dog and the bison flat bread, both were excellent. As other reviewers have stated, it's not like Sea Salt or Tin Fish, but we already had those places.

I was disappointed. Food was nothing to write home about. Seating area could be spruced up. I hope it gets better. Till then I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Great food & atmosphere. Healthier alternatives than what's found at most lakes in the cities. Bison fry bread taco recommended! The only critique would be that they could use more staff. It was obvious that the two people working being the counter were stressed out.

Checked out the pork sandwich yesterday. It was GREAT. I just love having a place to go on my bike that has interesting, good food and beer and all the food isn't deep fried. Love that everything is compostable or recyclable or washable! Yes, real silverware at a picnic place! I can't wait to go back and try something else.
