I have never had Popeye's before so I was super excited to try it out. I ordered a 5 piece chicken meal (comes with 2 sides and 2 biscuits) in drive thru for lunch. I didn't check the bag because the employee said "thank you and have a nice day" so I figured everything was good to go. I got back to work and I only had chicken and biscuits. :( However, the spicy chicken was darn good! I did go back that evening to get my sides but as I approached the door there was a big GROSS spider hanging from the door that was so scary I just backed away slowly. I know that is not their fault but I just needed to add that for the cherry on top. I may go back again because the chicken is so good but I'll be sure to check that I have everything first!

It has opened for a month now... They can't seem get this right. There seems to be a lot standing around and lack of leadership and service. Unless you are like me who have lived in the south for a while and treat Popeyes chicken like crystal meth, this place is awful when it comes to customer service. What a disaster.

The food is decent but the service is what's killing this place. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for our food. I think if they had a better crew working here this place could really be great.

Honestly, I blame myself. When I went to Popeyes' drive thru two months ago, I should've checked my bag before driving the 15 minutes home. Instead, I got home and was missing my side order of fries. Bummer, it happens. So then last night I went again, and would like to note I was the ONLY customer in the drive thru. They weren't busy, there was but two cars in the parking lot. I ordered an 8-piece family meal with mashed potatoes. About as easy as it gets. There were two boxes in my bag, which for some reason in my mind meant they got the order right because the potatoes were probably in one of the boxes. Nope, they weren't. So of the three things I ordered (and come together in the same order), I got two of them. I should've opened the boxes and checked, especially after last time. But screwing up my simple order that bad twice in a row? Sorry, not going back.

I've been to this location 3 or 4 times now. Today was the first time my order has been wrong (the biscuit was missing). But when I went back, they were so nice, they apologized, and gave me two biscuits :) My food has always been hot, but friendliness is kind of hit or miss (the gal today was nice!).

I love other Popeyes but this one was pretty lacking. Long wait, the food wasn't tasty and the drive through was so icy that we almost got stuck. General maintenance was lacking on this one.

They are busy ang you have to wait for your meal. I've been here 3 times and always have to wait and still get the wrong meal. The food tastes great. Today I ordered three chicken spicy tenders meal, after five minutes I was asked if original ones were ok (it would be 8 minutes for spicy) three minute later I was asked if two spicy breasts were ok; I said yes; about 4 minutes later I got 2 original breasts. At the same time they started filling peoples original chicken tenders with spicy ones; WTF! The chicken that I got was wrong yet delicious. I'll wait a few weeks before trying again (if I go back).

Food is good. Service is terrible. I was standing in line to order and wondering it must be easier for the manager to just apologize all day long to customers than to actually train the employees to get the order correct. I have never been somewhere with so many crowded around the counter yelling that their order was wrong. Hmm. And alas when I got my order to go and got back to work to open my bag yes they had got mine wrong too. No biggie I just won't go back.

What a huge disappointment. Popeyes has some of the best chicken anywhere, but this place is terrible. Went in on a Sunday at lunchtime. Passed a sign on the front door of a special that I wanted. When I finally got to the cashier, she pretended that she was doing me a favor by taking my order. I pointed at the sign and said that is what I wanted. She then told me that the special ehad ended Friday. Apparently it was too much work to pull off a paper sign held on by 4 pieces of tape. I then ordered 2 thighs and a breast of spicy chicken. She convinced me to take the meal. So I ordered red beans and rice. I was told they were out of that. Changed my order to just chicken and paid for it. When I was handed the chicken, I was told they were out of spicy. No apology offered. I won't waste my time going to this shoddy location again. Popeyes corporate: Fire this manager NOW. there is no one looking after your business in Bloomington!

My experience was very unpleasant. The signs and lights were all on as if it was open. We pulled up to the drive through and waited several minutes to hear a respond. We then pulled up to the window and discovered that the hours were posted. It clearly said "drive through hours open until 11pm" it was barely hitting 10pm while I was there. I then had to pull back around and actually called them. The person who picked up said they were closed to "mechanical problems" and I said you should probably shut off all your lights and signs. His reply was very non-sympathetic and just awful customer service. It seems during the night shift hours it's a ghost town. There needs to be a major managerial supervision at this location. This discouraged me to never ever come back again. Awful.

Wow are they SLOW!! Nearly 30 minutes in the drive-thru........at lunch time! And, they got the order wrong

I have been seeing Popeyes commercials for years and we finally got one somewhat near by. Food was fine. When the say mild chicken they mean no seasoning on it at all so we won't get that again. Spicy chicken was good along with the biscuit and mash potatoes. Mac and cheese was a bit gross. Service was terribly slow. Drive thru guy was really nice. We will go back if we happen to be in the area but won't make a special trip again

Second-favorite chicken place on the planet! I've been to this location a few times and the food was always fresh. If you like chicken skip KFC! Popeye's is the place to hit (get the spicy chicken)!
