Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

Not much too write about other than the super cute server girl that works the lounge area. Had the 'caribbean' fare, not impressed because the rice was awful. Pretty average spiciness. The regular items on the menu were actually pretty good. Nothing too extravagant, just good pub food. If I were the owner, I'd give up on the caribbean angle and rebrand it as a family/sports bar and grill. Everything is there and it is attached to a hotel. Did I mention the super cute girl that works the lounge?

I'm going to give my honest assessment of the place being a former Restaurant General Manager for over 20 years, the Bartender Kristin deserves a raise immediately! I came in shortly after 5pm and the place wasn't busy at all by my standards. I saw 1 Bartender, another came in and that one left, and I only saw 1 cook. No Manager, No Server, the Bartender was busting her butt with 11 people at the bar and 4 or 5 tables, totally not fair to her, if the place were to get busy she would be in the weeds! I don't know much about the place but it needs a major refresh by my standards, starting with a new Logo, decor, etc. Many Beer Neons either didn't work or weren't turned on which by my standards you should be on your Beer Vendors butts for that if they aren't working. I was told it used to be a Sports Tavern and was bought a couple years ago by a husband and wife duo that have other jobs (Basically absentee Owners which is never a good thing unless you have someone good running the place and you don't! If this place is to survive in my eyes it needs some help fast! A Manager or Owner presence would be ideal, but simply some staff would help. The Beer was cold, the Boneless Wings were great, the fries were good so all in all the only negative was being understaffed. For being a place considered supposedly to want a Jamaican scene, well nothing screamed Jamaican to me at all. There was one wall by the Bar that had a beach theme on it but it was peeling badly and that was the only thing that made me feel like I was at the ocean, but that is stretching it. This place has great potential but it should start with having a Manager or Owner here to help the Rock Star Bartender (Or maybe promote her). As I finish it's now 7 tables and 14 at the Bar and she doesn't seem stressed yet at all but doesn't have a clue why there's no one here to help her. I really feel bad for her and can't believe the Owners or Managers don't have any help here for this girl. I'm here for the next several nights as this place is right next to my hotel so I will be back simply because the Bartender is awesome and the food really was good. I hope the Owners/Managers read this and do something to help this place because after 2 years this shouldn't be happening. The Bartender even thought she should have had help, the other Bartender just left and had no communication with her whatsoever, apparently I heard her say Kerry or something was out at their other location or something like that. If you intend to keep this location I would really start being pro-active and not re-active and get some help in here or you will be like the last place and not last. Good luck but I will be back only because of the Bartender Kristin, the food, and the beer. Adding to the previous review, came in the next night (Wednesday August 25th) and ordered a beer and some queso dip and there is hardly anyone in the place and still nothing, shouldn't take this long to get queso and chips in an empty restaurant, the bartender tonight (didn't catch her name) didn't seem interested at all in her job, didn't smile, and wasn't even close to Kristen last night, sorry but I've decided I won't return, boring atmosphere, can't believe you have stayed opened 2 years, refresh the place, get new staff, and maybe and I say maybe you may survive, I would doubt they are making any money! Sorry

If I could give it a zero I would. Went in with a friend for a light dinner. No one to seat us, but no sign stating to wait to be seated. So we sat down and waited, and waited, and waited. A waitress brought food to a table next to us and didn't even acknowledge our presence. I believe she was the only waitress ( only 4 tables actually having a meal, others just drinking). We decided there were plenty of other pubs desiring customers, and good waitresses wanting my 20% tip. Jammin Wings should rename themselves ......"Closed for business"

Been by a few times now, and the place appears to be closed. Will stop by tonight while I'm across the freeway and check it out to be sure. Location is a restaurant wasteland next to the hotel. Not shocked if it was in fact closed, so many other places have failed here and just down the road (the Cracker Barrel building still sits empty for almost a decade?).

While the server was friendly, it took us 30 minutes to get our first round of drinks, and another hour to get the food. The food was okay but they were very understaffed.

Pros: clean place, very big, lots of tables and big bar, connected to a hotel, lots of flat screen TVs, owner is very nice Cons: staff only really talks to locals, food is somewhat expensive (I believe close to $20 for 6 wings. ) I'd say give it a try. I personally didn't like the jerk chicken sandwich but you may think different. Give it a try to at least support the owner (I feel bad for him he said he works another job).

Left without food. I ventured out for food on an icy snowy evening. I had tried going there a few weeks ago for lunch but they had winter hours I didn't see on the website. The bartender was very nice. I ordered my food and presented my Jammin Wings Restaurant.com certificate. ($10 off $20 or more) I was told they no longer accepted them. Wayne the owner came over, explained that they didn't accept them anymore as Restaurant.com got most of the money and it was for advertising. And it was for dine-in only. (it did not say that on the certificate) I was not going to reward that non accommodating behavior with patronizing them. I was hoping for great wings that I could bring friends to experience. Now I'll never know. I ventured back out on the bad roads, stopped at Culver's which I always like and went home.

Drove by on Saturday, 1/17/15 and Sunday, 1/18/15 in the evening and the place was dark so suspect the place is closed. I called and get no answer? I agree with Josh K comments from 4 days ago

My roommate and stopped by before a night out. The bartender was very nice, and we thought the boneless wing meal was a good amount of food for the money. Wings were good! Didn't blow us away, but we were satisfied. Will definitely go back. One of the only bars in Brooklyn Center that is not Apple B's.

Very average. Had side salad and boneless wings. Typical pre-frozen boneless wings with some sauce. Nothing memorable.

I've been in the area for about 9 months now and coming from Minneapolis, there is NOTHING around Brooklyn Center other than the local boring Applebees. I was so excited to try this place out! First off, the inside has SO much potential that isn't being used and the place was a ghost town on a Friday night. Second, our server didn't know anything about the tiny, one page menu. She didn't even know if they had Coke or Pepsi products... Being a previous server, I know that the job is not rocket science. We each ordered a build your own chicken sandwich - both were AWESOME! The chicken was cooked perfect and the sauces and fries were good as well. The thing I don't get is why is it a "wing" place and 1. the wings are overpriced and 2. they don't offer boneless ? We got a 3 piece wing appetizer, I thought the sauce was good, but the wings itself were gross. They were huge, but I swear had less meat on them than your average, smaller wings from any other restaurant. Needless to say, I took one bite and my boyfriend finished them.. I'd give it another try, but I was really, really disappointed with this place personally. I'd love to give it another shot once they get it together and hopefully improve in the coming months.. As long as they don't close up shop before it happens.

Not bad but not great food is above average good place to go if at one of the several hotels within walking distance to watch sports and grab a drink

I drive by this place and I like wings so I figured I'd give it a shot. I came in on a Saturday night with my fiance and two other friends. The service was far from good. The servers had no clue about any specials. We did get our appetizer in a timely manner (jalapeno poppers- not bad). We ordered wings; split between me and my fiance, she had 3 honey bbq and I wanted 6 Jammin Mango- which I found out was out so I had Jammin Jalapeno instead.... we got ALL honey bbq wings.... One of my friends got a burrito and she complained that the chicken was way too dry, she ended up getting a little sick from her food but she was alright a while later. Overall, the wings were not bad, but I'm not sure calling them "jumbo" is too accurate. They are bigger, but not that much bigger. The fries were good and the ranch was delicious. My other friend ordered the seasonal vegetables (which he was told was a salad) and got some mixed veggies (which he did like). Sum up: Could do with better servers, food isn't bad.

This place is just getting started but so far I'm impressed. We tried the jerk and spicy garlic wings that were large and crispy. The hot jerk wings were not as spicy as I thought but were not missing on their flavor. We also tried their burger with Italian sausage which was a great unexpected combo. They had $2.00 pbr's on tap, which is a great deal! I will definitely be back for more.

Wings AND pizza were great. Plenty of brand new TVs. So happy to have a family-owned place with quality food. Give them a chance and take a break from the homogenized super-chains.

Our first time here - walked over from the hotel next door - and we were impressed. Greeted right away by super friendly owner. Good beer. Caesar salad was very fresh and crisp w real shaved parm. A touch over-dressed but yummy. Wings are actual whole chicken wings, not buffalo wings so beware! 6 wings is a lot of food. Wings very tasty and well-cooked. Fries a tad greasy but tasted good. Good atmosphere although when we were there a loud and crass group of ladies was yelling obscenities while drinking too much. But service was great and so was food. Def recommended.
