I don't go to Dairy Queen very often, but when I do, I love checking this place out for their blizzards. This is an excellent small place. I love that they have the small indoors for the employees where I order from their window. Next to it is their outdoors lobby for us to eat our ice cream. I think this is a great set-up for us to enjoy ice cream on a beautiful day outside. On occasion, the lines can get long, but that's not a big issue to me. The employees appear to run the place well. The ice cream is served to me in a timely manner. They appear to be on top of things. They're always polite. They're pretty good at keeping the indoors and outdoors clean and organized. Even when there is a long line, they work the situation well. As long as this Dairy Queen keeps running their business as well as they have been, I will continue going here for their blizzards when I'm in the mood. They don't disappoint.

This place is nice...I know that when it's open it's probably not shitty outside...And since it's nice out, why not get a blizzard? When I hang out here during the months that it's closed though, mainly people approach me trying to buy heroin...I suppose that's what I get for spending more than 5 minutes in front of a boarded up DQ though...

They have a punch card for Blizzards...buy 5 get the 6 free. Blessing or curse... I would agree w the previous reviewer about the 'melty' factor but I really can't fault them much on that. It must get insanely hot in that little room. Also, they sell hotdogs (mmmmmm) and the hot dog warmer is right in the middle of the work area so that must affect the heating/cooling situation a lot. Big parking lot, no drive through.

Best DQ in the twin cities. It's a seasonal, outdoor franchise location. They have a unique selection of blizzards, which you can also order in the big big big size that you used to only see before the movie Supersize Me was released. If you buy a blizzard, or other "Royal Treats," you can also get a really good deal on a foot long hot dog.

This is just a small stand DQ, not a dine-in, so it's only open seasonally (if it warms up early, as it did this year, it opens as early as March, and stays open through sometime in October). Your standard DQ fare, of course, with the exceptional pluses that they have actual butterscotch!--which a lot of DQs don't even have anymore. The butterscotch shakes, malts (amazing) and sundaes are my favorite. They have raspberry, as well. AND they participate in the "Happy Hour," where shakes and Arctic Rushes are half price between 2 and 4 on weekdays (not all DQs do that, either). I'm so glad I live near this place! 6/8/11 Update: What? No more Happy Hour? Boo hoo! Maybe other DQs have gotten rid of it, as, well, I don't know. But I won't be frequenting any of them anymore if that's the case. My one other slight criticism is that it doesn't seem like they have the best cooling system. Even when they first hand you your shake, it's already very "melty," so I have to take it home and put it in the freezer for a while to get it to a more pleasant consistency.
