These guys catered my cousin's wedding last Saturday at the Eagan Community Center and the food was excellent. I couldn't believe my cousin only payed $20.00 per person. Tender prime rib, creamy chicken cordonblu, fresh bread and butter, wonderful salad, grapes, and the best thing was that it was a buffet and you can bet I had seconds. So, for wonderful catering at low prices, Classic cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.!

I went for a taste testing just to see how this place prepares the food and if it was in my price range for my wedding. The food was so good that I just wanted to keep eating event though I was completely full. If you are having a wedding like I am, I would highly recommend Classic catering. They are willing to help with set up for the table the center pieces and setting cards and much more.. They small price that you pay for the food, is nothing compared the the help that they will give you during your event...

Another rave review. Classic Catering was SO easy to work with--we didn't have to worry about anything. Working with them before the wedding was really laid-back and casual. The brought us in for a tasting, let us figure out exactly what we would and would not need (with expert guidance, of course) and were very low-pressure. They didn't need final numbers or menu until a scant 4 days before the wedding--giving us great flexibility. The onsite staff anticipated our needs and were really buttoned up and professional. They were totally above and beyond. My dad even insisted on tipping them extra above the gratuity we gave them. They were also inexpensive as far as caterers go ($11.50/person with our menu), and included a lot of extras (like a decorated buffet table, mirrors for the tables, candles, etc.). The food itself was awesome. We had SO many compliments on the food--and far fewer leftovers than we anticipated--which was a good thing. Since we got married the week before Thanksgiving, we planned a home-style holiday-type meal--beans, corn, rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing. We had carved roast beef and roast turkey (which can be tricky to get right, but everything was cooked perfectly). It wasn't as *fancy* as other catered-wedding fare, but it was darned tasty.

Overall they were a great vendor to work with, however the food was not nearly as good as it was at the tasting although wedding food never is. They were very easy to work with and even helped with the set up and take down of tables and decorations at the reception. They planned the tasting around our schedule and they were the best of the 3 tastings we went to. They were within our price range and didnt have very many crazy add ons like the other ones did. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonablely priced caterer with decent food and a wonderful staff. xs

This place is BY far, the best priced, most delicious food ever! I used them for my wedding, and not only were they the cheapest place with the fewest weird rules that many catering places have, but the food was FANTASIC. We chose the Italian Buffet, and the food was incredible! If they had a restaurant, I'd be there once a week! The staff is great, and they let you take home all the left overs, which was very exciting for us! I would recommend this catering service to anyone and everyone that is looking for very reasonably priced food that is worth far more than what they charge!
