The only reason why I wanted to Yelp Chipotle, is because this specific location is probably the best there is in the state.. well, at least within the metro area that is! I live pretty close to this bad boy now, so whenever I am having a Chipotle kind of day, I stop in here and order my delicious tacos! They never skimp you on the meat, as well as other stuff! I am a huge fan of the corn salsa, and they load that shit on! The people here, surprisingly, have always been smiling, or at least faking a good day pretty damn well! I do have to say, they are pretty decent when it comes to Chipotle attitudes! Also, the service is always speedy, and the store is usually pretty clean! The only thing I hate about it is, they are almost always out of tea! WTF! TEA!!!!!!NOOOOOOOO!!!!! There is always a line at this spot too, but I think that comes with being Chipotle! When it comes to Chipotle, though, I only ever get the Tacos... hard shell that is! To me, their tortillas taste funky. I don't know what it is, but they do have a weird taste to them and I do not like them one bit. Overall, Chipotle is Chipotle!

Being a Chipotle addict, my husband and I have tried nearly every location in the Twin Cities (I am NOT exaggerating). This one is top notch...absolute favorite. The staff is friendly and FAST (even with a line clear out the door it typically takes five minutes to get our order), the restaurant is clean and the food is fantastic.

Though most are great, not all Chipotles are created equal. Case in point: one epically bad in San Jose (the Barbacoa was ridiculously watered-down) and this epically good one in Minneapolis could attest to vast disparities in quality. The CMG in Minneapolis was not only of the best I have been to, it was tremendously helpful in a successful weekend of competition. The food quality was great, but what set it apart was its service. After landing in Minneapolis on a Friday night, my dining companion and I went there for a satisfying dinner of Chicken Faijita Burrito Bol, Barbacoa Fajita Burrito Bol, and guacamole. On a Friday night following competition, we came in famished and definitely needed the Barbacoa Fajita Burrito Bol to assuage our hunger. Unfortunately, they had just run out and would not be able to make another batch before the close. The manager kindly offered the extra meat on two orders of the Steak Bols without any extra charge. Previously, we had stuck with the Barbacoa because the Steaks we had were quite fibery. Not so here; they were firm and lean but gristle-free and quite a pleasant alternative! The next day, we returned following mid-day competition for some Barbacoa. The manager noticed us and he provided us one Barbacoa Bol with extra meat on the house! The food was perfectly refreshing, balanced nutritious and hearty post competition/pre-night performance meal! Going above and beyond what we would even expect at the fanciest of gourmet restaurants, the manager at this CMG helped to make such an endearing first impression of our trip to Minnesota. If/when I go back to Minnesota, we are sure to make a trip back here :)

Service at this chipotle is awful!! Waited for 15 minutes for my food. The assemble line was very slow. Most employee joked around with each instead of serving the food quicker. When I received my burrito bowl it was only 3/4 full.

Want to be annoyed into taking the time to drive to a Chipotle twice as far from your house? Then try this location. Slow service and inattentive burrito manufacturers who forget what I ask them to put on my burrito between when the words leave my mouth to when they grab the spoon are bad enough. Add to that someone arguing with me about what I want on my burrito because they don't have enough of that ingredient cooked to accomodate my request without waiting a few minutes (which I was perfectly happy to do), and I've been convinced to avoid this location. I love Chipotle, I just wish this location upheld the standards I've come to expect from their brand a little better.

This branch embodies Chipotle's fall from grace. The service here is lackadaisical, indifferent and careless (hence the product isn't much better). I got past the meat, rice and beans, only to be passed to a worker engaged in conversation with the cashier. She yapped while I waited. The cashier was looking right at me but didn't prompt his colleague. Finally I took 5 steps over to get in her line of sight and asked for my salsas. She grudgingly and sloppily complied. Other than telling me the price, the cashier continued the conversation and didn't look at me. I asked for a water cup and he slid it to me dismissively, as if he was slinging a beer at the pub. He handed me the receipt without a look or thank you, still yapping with the other worker. Chipotle continues its pitiful slide!

I'm giving this location 2 stars for one simple reason - the service totally blows. I was seriously amazed by how rude they were to us when we went for lunch yesterday. There are too many great places in this city to go to waste my time and money at this craptastic Chipotle.

I'm not sure why all the bad reviews... I worked near by and came to this Chipotle 3-5 times a week for 8 months and never had a bad experience. The most I've ever waited in line is 20 minutes, and that's because I came during a dinner rush. What do you expect when 30 people all come at the same time? The staff is friendly and greeted me like a friend every time I came in. They always stopped by my table to say hello, and knew my order by heart. I know I was a regular, but remembering that when you see hundreds of customers a day makes me feel special! Their only issue is they seem to always be a little short staffed, but that seems to be normal for food and retail around here.

Not certain what the negative reviews are for, this location of the famous Chipotle brand is great! I rolled in for dinner about 8:30pm one evening and while they weren't busy (maybe due to the 15* temp), the food was hot and service great. I always get the shredded beef tacos with only cheese... Perfect!

Multiple bad experiences have finally prompted me to write this review. First, the entire staff is the slowest i have encountered. A line of 10 people will take 20 minutes to get through just about every time I've gone to this location. Everywhere else is about 5 minutes or less. One employee in particular seems to be the main cause for the delay, as he seems to try to chit chat with almost everyone. Second, the staff needs to learn to roll a burrito without it tearing or falling apart. Third, the cleanliness of the tables and napkin/condiment areas is disgusting. Fourth, i was sitting in their enclosed porch area and they turned the music up to a ridiculously loud volume i asked them to turn it down and they didn't. Most recently i went there today at 4pm and the doors were locked!!! With people inside. Ridiculous. I live closest to this location but will now be driving the extra minutes to go to the Bloomington one.

I come here once a week for my Chipotle fix. The food is great, and the servers are always fantastic. I'm always in and out of there in a reasonable time for my Chipotle fix. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Chipotle food. It is lovely! Also, their music selection is fantastic. They play mostly indie music, which is way better than that crap I hear in the car all the time.

The most disgusting restaurant experience I have had in memory. have eaten at Chipotle before. I usually like the food because of the quality of the ingredients. I ate at this one on Sunday, Nov. 23rd, 2014. The crew could not have cared less about what they were doing. They could have been changing tires or mowing lawns. Splatting globs of what you ordered on burritos, shoving their fingers through the tortillas. Food all over the counter, floor, and tabletops. No adult supervision. Wow. I will not be back.

I have a different take on the quality of service at this Chipotle than my fellow Yelpers. I love how the staff here tries their best to lighten the mood! Boo to the uptight Edina folks! The parking situation does blow goats though...

This location keeps getting slower and slower. Today was the last time we will be visiting this location. The fastest employee was on the register. They started making my wife and daughter's order then proceeded to start making a timed order. My wife and daughter's food sat for almost 5 minutes before they came back to finish our order. Their meat was cold already. The only person that was friendly was the guy running the register.

This Chipotle has a serious problem and I'm blaming management. As I'm typing this review, the manager is yelling loudly to his employees about how ice cream is on him if they do their closing duties and get out of there on time. Yelling. Loud enough so that I'm across the restaurant and I can hear him perfectly clearly. Also, this time was the second time that they have been without their vinaigrette dressing. I asked hen if they could make a batch, and they did, but somehow it took almost 20 minutes. It also always seems like this place is under-staffed, even during the heaviest peak times. I hope you can figure this out, management...

I have never had issues with Chipotle before, but this one... Hmm. I always get the same thing at Chipotle, but somehow my bowl tasted different and I don't know what it was. It wasn't good and I didn't even finish it, which never happens because I enjoy Chipotle very much. My boyfriend had a burrito and he said it tasted different too, plus it was much smaller in size compare to other Chipotles.

This location is on York, but the app-map insists on taking me to Aspasia Circle - a residential dead-end. I've gone thru the process twice, same result. I don't know who to blame, but I'm pregnant with low blood sugar, so that was not cool. Food and service was fine.

I wish I could give this Chipotle no stars but I have to give at least 1. The workers behind the counter don't listen to anything you tell them. The service is slow. One guy was sweating all over the place, wiping his forehead with his hands and then using them to make the food. It was gross. I will never go back to that place again.

Worst Chipotle in the Twin Cities. Showed up for dinner and there was 1 person on the production line. 1 at register. And us waiting in line. I mumbled a complaint to myself and person next to me in line overheard me and agreed...worst Chipotle ever. He said last time he came in they ran out of bowls and cheese. Low and behold, when I got up to order they were out of guacamole for the day (at 7:00pm!). This place is ruining Chipotle for me...next time I'm craving a burrito I may just have to go to Qdoba at Southdale.

This place is your standard Chipotle. I found the service to be fairly fast during the lunch rush, and this location has a good selection of seating (outdoor patio, indoor "sunroom", and your traditional indoor seating of modern minimalist style).

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
