Let me start by saying I love Chipotle but this place is the WORST! This is my local Chipotle but it has always been a disappointment. Also, I'm not one to ever write a review, but tonight after not having any white rice it was my last straw. The line was long which is fine, but why not make people aware you were out of rice instead of having people wait in line 10+ minutes before they find out they can't meet your request. Does McDonalds run out of hamburger, buns, fries??? KFC run out of chicken? With that being said, this place consistently has slow service, with workers who give off the fact the definitely don't want to be there to service you...I will be heading to another location going forward since this is the same experience on more than a handful of occasions...

LOVE Chipotle! Never been disappointed by any chipotle outlet.. ever! They are the main reason that I love Mexican food...went from not liking it to really loving it. All I want now is cilantro and lemon juice in my food! What's so special about Chipotle? Well lots of things... the fresh vegetables, it's healthy, but what I really love is the char-broiled chicken...I understand the yumminess of the chicken is from being free-range.. FANTASTIC! I just love Chipotle. This one I frequent most since it's close to where I live.

This location is a black eye for the franchise. I had been in a few months back and they ran out of multiple ingredients and the manager comped me a meal. When I tried to go in to receive my comped meal I was told by the "new" manager, who lacked even the slightest degree of professionalism, tact or commitment towards quality customer service, that I needed to come in the next day to receive my comped meal due to corporate policy and accounting, so she couldn't help me. Oddly enough, when I asked her who her manager or who else I could speak with, she then comped my meal while making sure to accuse me of trying to get a free meal. Ridiculous. To add insult to injury, there was over a foot long piece of hair in my burrito bowl. Too bad there aren't negative star ratings.

This Chipotle location takes the cake in being the dirtiest, slowest and most poorly managed. Everything from the staff looking out of place, in their own world to all tables being dirty at all times, I'm not sure how this location stays open. At times I question how the City Health department has not intervened as the food prep area is dirty as are tables, floors, and garbages are over flowing. Please clean this place up and improve its service. It should not take 20 minutes to make a burrito!!!!

Doesnt even deserve one star. It was inedible due to terrible guacamole, bad service and an overall lack in cooking skills. It would be worth your time and to your taste buds to go to a different location. WORST LOCATION I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

Come on now, Winnetka Chipolte. You've finally become so slow that the line snakes through the restaurant and out the door. Figure out your process. Waaaaay too slow.

The absolute worst customer service here!! I come in last week at 9:45 trying to get a bowl to go before they close and they're already cleaning up. The people working the line get all pissy and moan about having to deal with me a customer this late when they are clearly still open for 15 more mins. I call the manager a couple days later and get told he's gonna handle it and tells me he next meal is on him and then when I tell him my name and information so he has it in his system he hangs up on me.... ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! Never going back to this shitty location again beware everyone!!!

If I am too lazy to make Mexican food, I would come here cause I know the service would be a lot faster. Yes, it is true that they are quick! I usually get their chicken tacos and put a load of crap in it. The staffs here are friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed their sitting area too. It is spacious like other Chipotle places. So far my experiences here has been ok. Free parking lot.

I call this review "Elitist in Douche Minor". Chipotle is one of those places that I have to be really high to eat at. I mean, Cheech and Chong high. Dude, Where's My Car? high. Let's make another Hangover high. Do you get the point? We're talking Phish concert high, folks. I just really do not care for fast food that much. But like any red blooded American who likes clogging their arteries with shit farmers wouldn't feed to their livestock, I get cravings for food I will hate myself for eating later. Enter Chipotle, you magnificent burrito having bastards. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME? Every staff member at this location appears to be one rude customer away from going Columbine on the entire restaurant. There is no joy in Whoville. None. You will not see one of the line servers dishing your black beans with vigor. There will be no smiles for you. And fuck you for even thinking you might get a "thank you, have a nice day."...because you won't. You're lucky no one pissed in the sour cream today. Now take your lukewarm, handcrafted chicken burrito and eat it silently at one of the dirty tables, you egotistical son a bitch. DO IT NOW. My boyfriend likes the steak burrito with guac, green salsa, and black beans. I prefer to avoid all things meat related at Chipotle because I don't think gristle and fat actually count as part of the food pyramid. But again, he is the least picky person I have ever met, he'd probably eat the piss flavored sour cream if there was a cold beer around to mask the flavor. He's a good man, folks. I do enjoy their veggie burrito with extra guac and black beans. So there's the additional star. Perhaps I'm feeling generous or maybe I'm still high. Who knows? I really hate you, Chipotle. So hard.

I absolutely love chipotle. But this location is be far the worst I've been to. The service is slow, and the employees seem like they could care less about even making eye contact, let alone smile at you. The employees are also too busy talking to each other to really pay attention to you. As we were paying last week, my husband asked for a bag of chips. The guy ringing us up was talking to someone behind him, and hadn't grabbed the chips for is. While still looking at his coworker, he asked if we wanted anything else and my husband said "just that bag of chips...". The guy said with an attitude "no, I mean anything BESIDES that". If it weren't the most convenient Chipotle to go to I would never go back. It seems like this place is in desperate need of more management. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because at least their food tastes good! But don't expect your burritos to be wrapped without ripping or the receive service with a smile.

I live right around the corner, and make my way to this chipotle once or twice a month. It's a busy location but normally the service is quick and friendly. Today at noon it was the opposite. It was as busy as usual (a line of about 15 or so people), but the workers had zero sence of urgency. It took 25 minutes to get through the people in front of me, because the workers were operating at a sales pace. Lastly, the food was lukewarm by the time I started eating. I normally love this location but the Sunday crew needs some serious work.

Typically, I will eat chipotle once a week. It's the only fast good that doesn't leave me feeling guilty. The Golden Valley location is by far my favorite. The customer service is superior to surrounding locations. The staff is always smiling and so helpful, but at the same time they are fast and efficient. The cleanliness is the major separator. Mexican food is messy! Not here, the counters and floors are always clean, fresh lemons (my favorite) are always available and the pops are always all functioning (a rarity). Five Stars and than some!!!

First, let me say, I love Chipotle, but this one in Golden Valley makes me never want to go in one again, I was in today. The music was so loud I could not hear a thing. That must be why after I ordered chicken tacos to go I had to tell them 3 more times, the type of shell, to go, and chicken. They could have cared less what i was ordering. This place needs some management.

The service was fast and the portions were generous. The staff even asked how our food was after and usually that is not the case at a lot of fast food. It was mostly clean and the only downside was they were out of lemonade. Could have been bad timing...

I went here last night to grab a quick dinner. I have always loved Chipotle but my experience here was not too enjoyable. I'm not one to complain about slow service but this took forever! The employees seemed to be moving in slow motion and not notice the ever-growing line. Fortunately, the food was still delicious (although a tad cold). In the future, I'd likely head to another location instead.

Customer Service is bad at this location. When I ordered my food I had to wait for one of the 6 employees to come out from the back. The person that made my order had to help the next in line (only the 2 of us) so it wasn't his fault. I waited for about a minute then left, and went to another location since I really like Chipotle. I will not be going to this location again.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that my first experience with Chipotle many years ago was life-changing, in a culinary sense. I remember a friend taking me there when we were in college, visiting the location on the University of Minnesota campus. I literally went back an hour later even though I was full and purchased another burrito to take home. I always tell people that the one thing I missed most while living and traveling in Japan was... Chipotle. I see that the reviews for this specific location arent that great, but Ive always had outstanding service here--far exceeding any other locations Ive been to. It's usually very fast service and the people are awesome. Ive ever had them devulge a few secrets than I replicated in my own kitchen. The location is great (unless you own Panchero's), and there is ample parking. I do think that parking lot is a little congested, but it's more because of the shape than anything. If there is any complaint about this Chipotle it is that you cant easily get from one side of Winnetka to the other. The food is always great regardless which Chipotle you go to--you cant go wrong with any choice of meat. I have come to love the chicken burrito bowl. When you think about it, it's really amazing you can get food of that quality that quickly and for that price... AND that it fills you up. Im always satisfied when I leave there. But if that's not enough, the guac and lime/salt chips are also fantastic ideas. It strange to think they were originally a subsidiary of McDonald's. Overall, Chipotle is king of the burrito joints for good reason. The quality of ingredients for an affordable price point is really hard to beat. Pros: Locations all over the country, fresh/quality/organic/etc., can be quite a healthy lunch option depending on your choices, taste is hard to be, great service, large portions, outdoor seating Cons: Hard to think of one, but I will say that I didnt appreciate when they lowered the amount of tacos in the order from 4 to 3

Worst Chipotle Ever!!!! Don't bother faxing in or phoning ahead and order. It will be completely messed up. Even when you order in person they still screw up your food. This restaurant clearly doesn't listen or care about their customers.

Stomach cramps that night and diarrhea in the morning. It could only have been from this Chipotle as I was fine afterwards. Also, I found 2 large pieces of cartilage in the chicken.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
