Our dinner was good, but spendy for a chinese restaurant, especially because they don't deliver. We had the chicken lo mein, shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and 2 eggrolls. Our total was almost $30 and we didn't have many left overs. The lo mein was really good; I really liked the large pieces of onion mixed in. The shrimp fried rice was also yummy.. but i had a feeling large amounts of msg were used as it was incredibly salty without adding anything to it. the egg rolls weren't anything special. They were also doused in either msg or soy sauce, which I thought was weird. I've had better and they tasted weird. The sweet and sour chicken was nothing to be desired. The chicken was dry and the sauce had large pieces of tomato in it? We'll prob go back but I'll try something else first that maybe isn't quite as expensive. Oh and we came in for pick up.. we ordered and were out of there within 10 min so that was a plus! A cute little restaurant that would be good for late night dining but they are only open until 9, I think.

Maybe it's because I dont eat fried rice or won tons, but I just dont find this place that special. My Fiancee and I have been trying to replace our chinese take out we get in Brooklyn Park, and all attempts of failed. My finacee gets chicken and brocolli and she didnt like it much, I got their General Tso's chicken and it was ok. It was better than some of the other nearby options. Maybe I'll give it another try.

Been eating at Asia for years and enjoy the quality and quantity you get with all of their food. Their menu is not a typical mass produced double side paper place mat either. And Asia House's Beef Lo Mein is off the hook. Best in taste, portion, and noodle size. I won't eat it anywhere else. Bonus drive through window for convenient to go.

I've been coming here for years! If you like "American" Chinese food, this has to be the top place in the Metro. The service is always accurate and fairly quick with consistency in the food. I still get a kick out of people complaining about prices. I assume you are the same people that vote to increase taxes and want the minimum wage to go up to $15 per hours and wonder why things cost so much? Duh??They do a great job here with operational excellence; plus it is a great family business. Congrats! One quick note: They have the best "American" chow mein here, but remember if you order chow mein at a authentic Chinese restaurant it is similar to Lo-mein. Cream cheese wontons and the chicken fried rices is also the bomb here!

I was recommended to this restaurant once by my sister-in-law and decided to stop in once with a date, and boy did I not regret it! The food here is very good and extremely low in price! The portions are extremely large and often stretch into 3-4 meals for me. I usually get the lo mein or chow mein and it's delicious! Also if you can make it there for lunch it's even better because then you get the large portions and also an appetizer. The won ton soup is amazing! I love the vegetables they put in it and the broth is the best. I just had won ton soup from another restaurant and was disappointed it didn't even come close to the won ton soup served here. The service is great too! I believe it's family ran and they tend to be very funy jubliant people. The older waitress actually would remember my date and I, since we went back there several time in same few weeks after eating here, oh and because it looks like I never eat my food because the portions are so large! She would allways poke fun at me for it too! Asia Chow Mein is a treasure and I hope the word of them spreads in NE Minneapolis because they sure earn their business.
