Mainstreet After Hours has become our favorite spot in Lakeville when we want to meet with a few friends and leave the kids at home. The beer and wine selections are broad enough to match most people's interests, and the "small plates" menu has both appetizers and light meals that are just enough. It's one of the gems in a chain restaurant dominated suburb. The only thing that stops me from rating it a 5 is that the service is sometimes a bit slow, even though the place is small and never too busy. Even so, I highly recommend it for couples that need a little "us" time or to meet a small group of friends. (There's even a TV, so I can keep one eye on the game while listening intently to my wife!)

My sister and law and I came here after wanting to try it for some time. What a neat place! We shared the Chèvre plate and the California flatbread and we each ordered a wine flight. I thought the food was fantastic and the chèvre was incredible with drizzled olive oil and cracked pepper. I plan on going back with my husband. They have beer flights and serve Summit and Surly. They had quite a wine and beer list. Lakeville has quite a gem.

This is a great wine bar with super nice employees. My sister-in-law and I ordered a couple glasses of wine while the boys opted for MN brewed beer in ice cold glasses. We also ordered the cheese tray which was delicious but the portions could have been larger for the $14 price tag. Can't wait to go back!

Skip this place. Lakeville has FAR better options if you are looking for something intimate and upscale (I personally like Porterhouse on 205th). My experience has been terrible here. If you are not a regular or friend of the owner do not count on friendly service. However if you enjoy overpriced wine and staff that greet you with a snooty attitude -this may be the place for you!

Rude customer service (I believe it is the same staff as the coffee shop next door). I agree with other reviewers who have commented that the staff is snarky. I received the impression that they were doing me a favor by taking my order. This place could have great potential but the unpleasantness of the service makes me reluctant to visit again.

I have found the staff to be a tad snarky. The menu on the website is not up to date. Decent food - as in just ok. I've eaten here twice. Probably won't make it a third time.
