We had Divine Swine cater our wedding and it was Amazing!!!! We had so many compliments on our food and the service. People went back for seconds and thirds and we still had an abundance of leftovers. Divine Swine will let you take your leftovers if you provide proper storage for them. My husband and I packaged it all up in freezer bags and stuffed the freezer full. Our menu consisted of: Roasted pig, A slow roasted beef, Mac and cheese, Cheesy au gratin potatoes, Almond slivered green beans, Stuffing and gravy, and Potato salad. Rolls and condiments were provided. Everything was a hit and I do recommend the stuffing and gravy! It was so good, just like moms. Our server was so professional and nice. People talked about how hard he worked and what a great job he did. He definitely got a generous tip. Thanks again Divine Swine! We know who to call when we need your awesome food again!!!
Divine Swine catered our company picnic in 2012, and we had such a great experience with them that we booked them again for our picnic last month. The food is delicious and served hot, and the portions are so generous that many of the employees were taking home copious leftovers. I lived off of roast pork and turkey leftovers (with all the glorious fixins) for three days straight after the picnic, and I couldn't have been happier! Our server did a thorough job; he arrived early, he set everything up, and at the end he cleaned up and put everything away.
Divine Swine really went above and beyond for our wedding. They were just fantastic! We had a tasting with This Little Piggy as well, and we thought that the pig itself was more succulent and flavorful at Divine Swine, also the dishes and utensils at Divine Swine were of much higher quality than This Little Piggy. But even more importantly, they were more than willing to do a number of custom items just for our wedding. We didn't want a normal "casual picnic pulled pork sandwich" dinner, instead we wanted to create the effect of a Bavarian chalet in winter with a wild boar with an apple in it's mouth (we couldn't get wild boar so a pig was as close as we could get), and the meat torn into larger pieces, meant to be served on a plate not in sandwich form. They also custom baked a recipe we gave them of apples with red onions in olive oil with balsamic vinaigrette to be placed onto of the pork (kinda like a pork loin dish with baked apples). How many wedding caterers would go through so much extra work?! Also, they offer a number of different packages for tableware from disposable picnic style to porcelain dishes with linen tablecloths for a more elegant look--so you have a number of options based on the desired look of what you're going for. It was incredibly affordable! Many of our friends spent upwards of $50/person for food at their weddings, we paid about $13/person for super meat, a vegetarian option, and a number of sides including our custom apple/onions side! Additionally, they were happy to co-cater as we got gourmet salads from Cafe Latte to really dress up the dinner. And the service in the planning process and the day of was just great! Lots of our wedding guests commented on how friendly and helpful the servers were. Great experience overall!

The highlight of my morning (sorry honey). The spring in my step. My Starbucks. I pull up to the drive-thru speaker each morning and am greeted by a friendly voice. Some of these voices call me by my first name. Some of these voices know my order. Some of these voices tell me to steal cars and run over traffic cones-- these may be different voices (to be determined). I have had few incidents of my orders being messed up here. The worst being too many pumps of peppermint in the iced coffee I ordered. That was minty hell. 99% of the time though the staff here are rocking it. Coffee aside, they deserve all 5 of the stars on Yelp. If they weren't friendly, I'd go elsewhere. I go every day. Coffee addiction, maybe (absolutely), but the staff are a huge factor in where I go to feed that addiction. Once in a while I venture inside and the entire store is ridiculously clean, the shelves are stocked and the coolers and food showcases are full. Always. It feels like this is a corporate training location. This store is my favorite Starbucks experience and is highly recommended. If you live nearby or are in the area, stop in to get your coffee, tea or other drink fix. You will not regret it!
This the Starbucks right by my house. I go there often. The staff are friendly , happy and always give the best service. Best part of the coffee shop is that, they know what I drink and they perfected my drink.
My husband I frequent this Starbucks! Coming from the Northeast originally, we LOVE our Starbucks:) Pumpkin Spice Late is my favorite and I look forward to it every year... Everyone is always pleasant at this location!

Chan's is fine... it just doesn't wow me. It's the Chinese closest to my house, so we keep trying it but we honestly prefer some of the others in the area. When convenience is the criteria, it's where we go.
The food here is consistently very good and fast. The price is right, the service is friendly and an awesome place for Chinese south of the river. I do think they should offer delivery but that is my only suggestion.
I have been going here for years ! I can't believe I have not written a review for them until now. Consistently good food, reasonable prices, partially open kitchen so you can watch the Wok masters at work. Friendly staff, family owned. My favorites, are the chicken wings, any of their Egg Foo Yung, and the Hunan or Szechuan chicken or pork. Everything I have had is good.

Our local Culver's always have some kind of event going on for the local schools. Parts of the sale goes to the local schools, they get a lot of sale in the process too. I don't mind spending money when part of the money going to help my community. I like the staff over here, they are very friendly and courteous. They are always willing to help and opens the door for you as needed. They store is very clean and there are always adequate staff behind the counter to take your order. I am not too big on fast food, but this place do have quality employees and a clean store. The restroom was clean and well stocked. I like their ice cream, they are pretty good. I will come here again for the next fundraining event for my kids school.
This location is always clean. Above standard food cooked to order and great service. I just had a chili cheeseburger that was wonderful. Kid and family friendly.
The frozen custard here is great, but sometimes the servings can be rather skimpy. Apple Valley Culvers seems to be slightly more generous with the scoops in their cones..

Porterhouse Steak & Seafood

Great value and quality. Friendly staff.
For these prices, it's two strikes and you're out. We went to the one in Little Canada and agreed that it was a bit overpriced, even with our coupon. My husband's steak was overdone, and my grilled salmon was slightly dry. We were a bit surprised that the food was not amazing, given the prices and the fact I had to book a table at the Little Canada location a week in advance. Since we got on the Bread Card rewards program at the sister business Chianti Grill, we got birthday coupons and decided to try the Lakeville Porterhouse location. The restaurant was not as crowded, and that was a plus, but the food still had some serious misses. My husband ordered the lamb rack special "medium rare," but it was basically seared and raw inside. The meat was not cold in the center, but my husband ended up taking most of it home to be reheated later. I ordered the parmesan-encrusted salmon. It reminded me of the salmon I had at the Little Canada location. the edges were cooked just right, but the center was increasingly dry. The sauces were nice, but not amazing. I ordered grilled asparagus as a side dish. Both the asparagus and the Caesar salad were solid, but not memorable. As a side note, I thought it was a bit odd that the table tents seemed to be advertisements for national brands of wine or whiskey. You see that in a dive bar, but not in a high-end restaurant. Or, maybe I only noticed just now. The highlight was the banana creme brulee dessert. It tasted like it was prepared ahead of time, including the sugar crust, and then simply refrigerated until serving. Still, the center was rich with a touch of banana, and the mint sprig was a nice touch. The service was fine, and the manager came over a couple of times to ask how things were. My husband's lamb rack was quite visibly raw in the center, and we didn't feel like bringing it up. My takeaway: I wouldn't expect such large misses on the cooking (medium rare vs. seared or overcooked) for entrees that range $27-37. It seems a lot of people like this place, but I think for that price we could probably do better at a non-chain restaurant.
Mediocre scallops, unremarkable french onion soup and Caesar salad. I expect more for these prices.

This is a pretty nice and clean sandwich shop. Just my walking in through the doors you can tell they keep the store nice and tidy. The shop is well lit and bright. Even during the busiest time I have seen their employees coming out and cleaning the tables and floors. The trash are not overflowing like a lot of the sandwich places. They change the trash often, and keeps the store looking nice. I always like walking in here after they just got the cookies out of the oven. I usually get something simple like chicken breast or ham and cheese. But you can get creative and make sandwiches few different ways. The no grease sandwiches are tasty and probably better for you too. The menu has all the calorie information that I never bother to worry about. I like my sandwich tasty and they make it the way I want it.

Copper River Fish & Chop House

17516 Dodd Blvd
Lakeville, 55024
Reviews:
These folks had a rocky start, but are really doing super now. Copper River has turned into a favorite among my friends and family. Never had a bad steak, the happy hour specials rock, and the service has always been stellar. Oh, they also work hard to accommodate food allergies.
Where to begin.... Some of the glassware was sticky, which means it was still dirty from the last use for all I know. Our server had trouble opening a bottle if wine and had to ask one if the hosts for assistance. Also, they apparently do not know how to do a proper wine tasting as they missed a couple steps and departed with our cork in tow. Our server also made us order our entire meal up front, which is rather odd for a fine dining establishment. We're used to taking our time with a fine meal, eating each course in turn with a short break between each. They don't do that here, which must meant they are more interested in turning over tables than the guest experience itself. All that and we only have out drinks so far. Or I should say most of them (I'm still waiting on one, but every other drink arrived nearly 10 minutes ago). We ordered an appetizer to share (and our server was aware of this) and i also ordered a salad which usually follows the appetizer at most other restaurants. We were served both at the same time, which was again somewhat disappointing. Ok, I'm officially annoyed now. I ordered my Fillet Mignon at Medium. It was served Rare. I honestly don't know how you make that kind of mistake. They insisted on reheating it to Medium, even through I repeatedly requested Medium Well since they can't cook meat apparently. Also, reheat? So now it'll come out dry and tough regardless if how it gets cooked. Her sea bass however was quite good, though the risotto had a rather odd texture to it, and much too much kernel corn thrown in. We also noted that the wine chiller they use doesn't stay chilled long. We ended up getting a second one with a little bit of ice in it. They use a stainless steel chiller which is fine for short term use, but anything longer than 15 minutes and they start to warm up rapidly. Oh wow! Apparently every table gets bread except ours! We're part way through our meal and only just now realized other tables had bread and we did not. Oh well. So my steak comes back. Where I had cut it some in the middle to check it, they completed the cut so now it was kind of butterfly cut, and they threw it back on the grill cut side down and cooked it more that way. So I ended up with a steak that was Medium in the middle, Medium Rare at the ends/tips, somewhat dry and significantly charred all the way around. Not tasty at all. Of course the potato and veggie had cooled down by this point, so overall it was a rather unpleasant plate. For her, the risotto was mushy and oniony for being described as a sweet corn risotto. This was underneath the sea bass on her plate. It did honestly taste weird. We've both had risotto from other restaurants, and she has taken to making different flavors of risotto at home using the correct type of rice for that. But this one was just wrong on many levels. Our dessert, which they comped for the other screw ups, was another joke. She had ordered a molten lava cake, which came slightly cooler than room temperature, was not even remotely 'molten' and actually tasted a bit weird too. Had one bite of it and that was all. While waiting for her dessert to come, we also noted that other tables were being offered cracked pepper for their salads. We didn't get the same offer for my salad. Another thing that bothered me all through our meal was that every time our server offered to bring me a soda refill, I ended up waiting a minimum of 15 minutes for it, usually longer. It got to a point where I just stopped asking and drank wine. Our server was inattentive, had a poor memory, and generally seemed to be just a bit flustered or confused the whole evening. Since she was proving to be unreliable, we simply stopped asking for things. We also took not of how everyone was dressed. This is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant, as stated on their own website, so again there was a certain expectation. The servers and bussers were all dressed the same in black pants or slacks and white long sleeve button down shirts. The hosts and the manager however were w hole different story. Apparently spandex I various patterns and bright colors (or just plain black) is perfectly acceptable attire. So while the host girls are all walking around trying to show off how thin and/or sexy they are ( I heard another table say they looked like 'little sluts') the woman who was apparently the manager seemed to think a leopard print spandex top and black spandex bottom was perfectly fine as long as she had a light sweater over her top. Sorry, but all of them just looked trashy which made them stand out compared to how the rest of the staff was dressed. Something else we noticed: we were rushed through the whole meal. It was not quite an hour from when we arrived and were seated to when we had completed most of our meal. Other tables appeared to be having similar experiences. I'd guess they simply over booked and were trying to push everyone through to get them all fed.
We had an amazing dinner last night. Our waiter was attentive but not too attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and food in general. He did a fantastic job with recommendations and answering questions...mentioned "the chef" quite a few times, which I actually thought was a nice touch. The waiter was obviously a good, which I appreciated. And the food was just fantastic. Tuesdays are $1 Blue Point Oysters! Which was a very pleasant surprise since that was what I couldn't stop thinking about after I pulled up the website. We shared a kale salad, which was excellent. I liked that the candied nuts on the salad also had a little bit of kick to them. Then we both tried fish entrees off the signature menu. Both were unique and perfectly prepared. For a change of pace we ordered Moscow Mules! The restaurant itself is big and open but cozy at the same time... lots of warm hard wood, fire places and cute little bench/booths. I definitely can't wait to come here again...worth the price tag.

Carbone’s Pizzeria

7670 W 160th St
Lakeville, 55044
Reviews:
I grew up on Carbone's in St. Paul. Now, as a big boy, I moved to Lakeville with the wife and we frequent this location. As you may expect, Carbone's is famous for their pizza. While we do order their pizza from time to time, we like to indulge most on their delicious artichoke dip appetizer with its heaping helping of toast. Most recently my father in-law showed me the glory that is Carbone's pizza fries. These are just silly good. Greasy, cheesy goodness. They are now a second favorite appetizer and honestly we will just be back for these apps and drinks most of the time. Each time we have been to Carbone's has been for football on Sundays but there is always room for seating in there. One side of the restaurant that is hidden by a wall seems to be louder than the other side. We're not sure what that's about (why were we not invited to the party?). Service has always been outstanding here. If you have any issues with food or booze, they take care of you promptly without putting up a stink. We had flat Stella on our hands during our last visit and our server apologized, sampled it and agreed it was flat. They swapped the keg and we were back on track. All smiles the whole time. Overall this is a place with great food (even beyond pizza), great service and large TVs. It is definitely family-friendly and should be visited frequently with or without the kids. Keep up the great service and food Carbone's of Lakeville!!
Love love love their Alfredo! I would challenge anyone to find a better Chicken Alfredo! Very friendly staff and very prompt on to go orders! If you want quiet you can dine on the dining side and the other half is a bar with TVs and more! ~Dottie S.
Very typical Midwest sports bar and lounge. The pizza here is very good and it's a good place to catch a game. I only had beer while I was here, but they also have a full liquor bar. There are a crazy amount of TVs to watch whatever sporting event you would like and the staff is very friendly. I've had a couple sandwiches and would suggest just sticking to the pizza. While they were good, they weren't the most amazing thing I have ever tasted.
