We had Divine Swine cater our wedding and it was Amazing!!!! We had so many compliments on our food and the service. People went back for seconds and thirds and we still had an abundance of leftovers. Divine Swine will let you take your leftovers if you provide proper storage for them. My husband and I packaged it all up in freezer bags and stuffed the freezer full. Our menu consisted of: Roasted pig, A slow roasted beef, Mac and cheese, Cheesy au gratin potatoes, Almond slivered green beans, Stuffing and gravy, and Potato salad. Rolls and condiments were provided. Everything was a hit and I do recommend the stuffing and gravy! It was so good, just like moms. Our server was so professional and nice. People talked about how hard he worked and what a great job he did. He definitely got a generous tip. Thanks again Divine Swine! We know who to call when we need your awesome food again!!!

Divine Swine catered our company picnic in 2012, and we had such a great experience with them that we booked them again for our picnic last month. The food is delicious and served hot, and the portions are so generous that many of the employees were taking home copious leftovers. I lived off of roast pork and turkey leftovers (with all the glorious fixins) for three days straight after the picnic, and I couldn't have been happier! Our server did a thorough job; he arrived early, he set everything up, and at the end he cleaned up and put everything away.

Divine Swine really went above and beyond for our wedding. They were just fantastic! We had a tasting with This Little Piggy as well, and we thought that the pig itself was more succulent and flavorful at Divine Swine, also the dishes and utensils at Divine Swine were of much higher quality than This Little Piggy. But even more importantly, they were more than willing to do a number of custom items just for our wedding. We didn't want a normal "casual picnic pulled pork sandwich" dinner, instead we wanted to create the effect of a Bavarian chalet in winter with a wild boar with an apple in it's mouth (we couldn't get wild boar so a pig was as close as we could get), and the meat torn into larger pieces, meant to be served on a plate not in sandwich form. They also custom baked a recipe we gave them of apples with red onions in olive oil with balsamic vinaigrette to be placed onto of the pork (kinda like a pork loin dish with baked apples). How many wedding caterers would go through so much extra work?! Also, they offer a number of different packages for tableware from disposable picnic style to porcelain dishes with linen tablecloths for a more elegant look--so you have a number of options based on the desired look of what you're going for. It was incredibly affordable! Many of our friends spent upwards of $50/person for food at their weddings, we paid about $13/person for super meat, a vegetarian option, and a number of sides including our custom apple/onions side! Additionally, they were happy to co-cater as we got gourmet salads from Cafe Latte to really dress up the dinner. And the service in the planning process and the day of was just great! Lots of our wedding guests commented on how friendly and helpful the servers were. Great experience overall!

We had these guys cater our wedding. It was like ten dollars a plate cheaper than most of the other catering companies approved by our venue (Gale woods Farms: Three Rivers Park district). I'm familiar with the Lakeville area, but the location is still pretty remote, just off the freeway, South of the McDonald's on 35S. The tasting was great. The guy upsold us on having the entire pig by saying, "You're one of those Northfield guys." Needless to say, it worked. The day of the ceremony and reception, the crew took care of business. Had the pig on a trailer. Thing was wearing sunglasses for pete sake. The pig became another guest at the wedding, until it was sliced up and shredded into sandwich-sized portions. There was roast turkey for those who didn't prefer to dig on swine. All of it was top notch. My one regret, my one big regret. I didn't order cole slaw. That would have really tied the room together. And the kicker, they cleared everything when the meal was over, didn't have to, just did it. Bravo, Divine Swine. Bravo.

We had Divine Swine cater our wedding reception as well. As the previous reviewer said, they are about $10 cheaper than the average caterer and the food is fantastic! The pork and turkey are, as the name says, divine, but my favorite thing on the menu was the au gratin potatoes. Perfection. We paid them a bit extra (minimal, in my opinion) to cut and serve the cake. The servers were very professional and packed all the leftovers up for us. I don't think they will do this unless there is a refrigerator available. Many of our guests commented on how good the food was. I haven't heard that at many catered events, so you know it's good. Good quality at a great price - what more could you ask for?
